  1. Links to players will always happen, that's the media for you. Not only that but as a club we have always been very good at keeping our targets very close to our chests in the past. As a club we always say very little and let the rumors float in the wind. The best thing for people to do is be patient and wait and see rather than lose sleep or point the finger in frustration to the club because of some random link to loads of players. What I don't get is how up tight a lot of people get when it comes to a transfer window.
  2. So, if he comes here he comes as a squad option? Am I right about this?
  3. See I see it like this....He's achieved monumental things with us, the height being the CL right down to the CoC and been nothing but a top pro. But with footballers I don't get attached, I appreciate them for what they are and what they do, I applaud them when they bring a moment of brilliance but I never allow myself to get so close that it over-spills into a emotion like some. I am not speaking for you all as you all have your own opinions, but for me, good luck to him. Chelsea will always be Chelsea, what he won with us will always remain, and whilst he moves on so does my support for the players who are here now. Good luck Petr....Up the Chels.
  4. Around here we don't have a pop at members because of their use of grammar or anything else. Thanks.
  5. He's not an extraordinary player, nor is he worth an extraordinary price.
  6. He's a really good player, but I fully expect Brenda to bring him down to Liverpool level.
  7. There was the obvious stand out contenders last season who did great but this guy didn't get the praise he deserves. Best in the world for what he does, for me.
  8. More chance of me getting sex doggy style with Kate Upton than Jose going back there.
  9. Liverpool are spending like the kid that just got all it's birthday money, and it's burning a hole in their pocket. 29M on Flamingo and 12.5 on Clyne....There is only one way some of that cash comes back and it's Sterling. Time for us to offer the kid a home in London.
  10. Pleased for him, he did great last season.
  11. Southgate said "We are progressing and moving in the right direction"
  12. Ben Gibson facing his own goal when the ball comes over, 1-0 Italy and now 2-0 in 2 minutes.
  13. SKY wanking themselves silly over this.
  14. Whilst you may have a point and things may pan out as you say, it looks like we are in for a winger, whether it be Griezmann or Sterling(or whoever) and with Willian being Jose's main stay I really fail to see where Oscar fits into any future plans. Oscar won't settle for a bench role, and whilst it's a long season the potential inquiries about Sterling/Griezmann(Supposedly) suggest he would have them as wingers plus an emergency #10 if needs be.
  15. I agree on Cuadrado, think he gets next season to see how it goes, after that if things haven't gotten any better, he goes. As for Oscar, not sure how long we can keep hoping he will perform or bring up the excuse of tiredness etc.....He's looked out of place for a lot of last season, and whilst having a good tracking and chasing engine you need to have more than that if you are to be a top #10....he hasn't showed near enough for me. Willian's performances in the #10 for the last few months were exactly the level Oscar has to be at next season.....I can't see him every being that good because Willian was immense.
  16. I wanted to put Varane in there but some members would of chucked bricks at me and say....."This ain't FIFA dickhead"
  17. I'd take Sterling over Griezmann all day long. That's just my opinion.
  18. Agree 100% with this. I have said it time and time again that this kid under Mourinho could be unbelievably good. The lure of London and also us as a team and Jose is also a massive factor just as much as money is to City. A deal of 35-40M isn't beyond the realms of possibility for this kid and we can offer him everything he wants. I would love to see us get him and replicate the threat we have on the other side with Hazard....The pace, the directness and the main thing...a massive threat. What I don't want to see is us go for stop-gap players, those players won't win you the CL, they will do a job to a certain extent but they wont add what we need on top of what we want to build upon. We have to be seen to be moving on and getting a lot stronger, not stagnating by buying people like Dembele etc...We need top quality and this kid at the age he is at, under the guidance of the best manager in the world there could be huge things ahead. Now let's play FIFA... Tibo Ivanovic Cahill Terry Azpilicueta Matic Pogba---- Cesc Sterling------Hazard Costa
