I've said numerous times in the Hazard thread my thoughts and without derailing this thread you can have a look in there as to my outlook.

Switched off both games last night really couldn't be arsed with either. Watched Barcelona earlier on in the evening....much more enjoyable.

Really don't get how some are saying there isn't much hope, why? Despite a defeat in Paris where at times we played really well, there has been some really big plus points of late. Costa is back and firing again, Cesc is starting to find much better form and we may start now seeing fluidity down the flanks from our two wing backs in Rahman and Azpilicueta. City, if anything, are the team who are shot of confidence and look jaded, not us. Yes, they are still capable of beating anyone but at home and with our good form we can easily put these to bed. What is of importance for me here is the starting 11 and that we remain with Rahman and Dave as our full backs. Dropping Rahman will be like a dagger in the heart for the lad after the PSG game. This City side look very shaky when teams get at them, and I'm not impressed at all by Kompany or Ottamendi this season at all. I'm not expecting Hazard to be dropped but what I do expect is he raise his game in this tie and starts actually talking on the pitch. This is a very winnable game.

I really don't like them but I am very envious about their pure strength in depth they have at their disposal. Their bench last night was strong, but that again needs to be addressed in the summer with the correct signings.

I was like you, I had it in my head last night he would flourish. I'm very negative on Hazard right now but with reason, but I can say one thing....I will rise from my seat when he scores again and continue to hope he comes back to form like we know he can.

Should of pulled the trigger at least twice when he had the chance, he didn't, and we will never know what could of been. This is an area he needs to work on and look at for me, his decision making at times is very poor. Did the hard yards again though, just pull the trigger more please.

Of course he has a lot to learn, there is no doubt, but to learn you need to play too. Jose thought it was an offence to choose naturally footed wing backs and play them, last night proved it is not a crime and we looked fluid. Of course he had a few shaky moments but all the back line did at times but what we saw was the kid bombing on when the opportunity came his way. Start him against City, do not drop him.

Sell Hazard for big dollars, then use this money to strengthen up both midfield and defence.

Sell him for tank loads of cash, build the attacking side of the team around Willian and Costa. If he wants to gob shite about playing for PSG, Madrid or his fucking idol Zidane then fucking ship him out. Had enough of his shite performances and his chatter in the press.....Jog on lad.

Brings joy to my face when he is direct and running at people with the ball. Some say losing Hazard would be a disaster, no, losing this guy would be even bigger because for me offers more than Hazard by miles.

Lots of big positives came from the game for me- Baba was brilliant, thought Brana looked good at CB and I thought Willian was once again excellent. This was far and away a much better away performance than some media outlets are writing about. Bare in mind every man and his dog had us down to be either well beaten or given the hiding of our lives in Paris, neither happened because we aren't as bad as the media want us to be. I have no doubt in my mind we can do this lot over in London, in fact we have seen the nights we are capable of in this cup at home, we can do it again.

Was good, very good, he just needs better players around him that drive and believe like he does.
