  1. @The only place to be If you're going to quote me, quote the entire post. Otherwise, it takes it out of context, 'context is everything'..
  2. ^ That argument is ridiculous, Mancini is on his way to equaling Mourinho's record ffs! (deeming it worthless), that's not good, that's not good at all. Our image, our brand, Roman's reign. Man-City will be indirectly demolishing all this.. The damage has already been done with United, the trophy pile is too high.
  3. The games will be aired live on the BBC.. Winning this trophy for the first time will top any other cup this season (bar the league).
  4. You are not a Chelsea fan if you want Man-City to win today.. They want our 3 league wins under Roman swept under the carpet of english football, Mourinho's back to back titles will lose all value. United adding another trophy for the pile means nothing, the damage has already been done in regards to their impact.
  5. I think the players have been taking the famous 'carefree' chant a little too literally.
  6. I'm not worried about the City link, we can outmuscle them if we have to, ask Eden Hazard.
  7. Part of me wants Roman to spend over £50m for this guy, 'just so' Torres isn't our most expensive signing of all time.
  8. This is a done deal, £4.4m. With Azpi's form I'd imagine he'd spend a lot of time on the sidelines and go out on loan next season. Normally you would expect an experienced right back with a young prospect as backup. It seems we've taken a different approach here, as Ivanovic's full back days are long gone.
  9. Rafa: I wanted to buy Hazard for Liverpool http://www.liverpool...-liverpool.html http://www.tribalfoo...verpool-3655941
  10. Paco Miguel is the new fitness coach, who worked with Torres at Atletico when he was ten years old and at Liverpool. Xavi Valero is the new data analyst who Torres described himself as "outstanding" and owed much of his great form at the time to the work the pair did with each other. This is becoming more and more like Fernando Torres FC by the day.
  11. There is something quite haunting about this image..
  12. I don't buy into this RDM was treated in a disgusting manner bullshit (he knew what he was signing up for, he saw how AVB was treated). Plus he is a very wealthy man now, so save your sympathy.
  13. A very obvious point, and why my first post alluded to Arsenal's 7 year wait for a trophy. There will NEVER be another Ferguson, he is a one off, the greatest manager of all time. 'An anomaly in the game', hence why it's laughable you think we should try and replicate that. Roman has adopted the Real Madrid philosophy at Chelsea.
  14. The last trophy he won was the Club World Cup, if that's the next trophy he wins I won't be complaining.
  15. No Roman, no 24 million Didier Drogba, no CL. We could do this all day..
  16. Champions league aside, the Real Madrid model (i.e zero managerial stability) has been successful, the Barca revolution shook things up a bit but nonetheless.
  17. Torres has seen 5 of his managers sacked in two and a half years.
  18. Sooo much drama.. Never a dull moment supporting this club.
  19. "Look what happened" = i.e.. playing a 'more or less' full strength team against United's reserves. Read back your post, then mine... how have you managed to get confused here.
  20. We all said that about the carling cup/capital one cup or whatever the fuck it's called now.. And look what happened.
