Kompany & Yaya Toure, yes. The whole squad.. No. David Silva is one of the most overrated & overhyped players in the history of premier league football. -
Switching to a Champions league format only benefits myself and a few others. New members will lose interest once knocked out, players WILL decrease in skill level, friendlies only give 10% development value. So all those youngsters you've been developing will be fucked, all that work for nothing, a wasted season.

It revolves around football matters, so you've misinterpreted how I'm looking at it. The damage has somewhat already been done anyway, that's why Rafa should go. Sacking 2 managers in 1 season is one of those statistics that will haunt the club though, that and the Torres fiasco. It's a lose lose situation in regards to PR, sacking Benitez (rather than sticking with their guns) makes the board look clueless.

What the 'new manager effect' would do for us, far outweighs the fact we would become a joke of a club for sacking two managers in one season. The football world already sees Chelsea as a joke, but this would tip the balance. Imagine if AVB managed to seal a top 4 spot for Spurs, and we finished below him...

Granted, things have improved since the Torres fiasco. Luiz however was far from 'value for money' at £21m, same for Ramires at £17m, the club overpaid.

If only he had been part of a better era though, considering he wasn't exactly 'instrumental' in our now historic 2012 CL win. Friendlies have only 10% effect on Development value, (it's all in the rules). So the teams who get knocked out will be completely fucked. All that player development over the course of a few seasons wasted, as each player will drop DV without a doubt. A bad thing for any club outside the top 3 in the PL..
