That's what people were saying about Hazard and his 17 shirt.
-
Who knows, we can only speculate really, 5 was an odd number for a left back though. With all these numbers being switched, I'm surprised Azpi hasn't requested something different.. like 6 for example.
-
Everyone who bought Hazard 17 were refunded, I imagine the same will happen here. Zouma clearly has a big future here, not surprised by this news.
-
Lmao, tell me about it.. every time someone replies I keep having to check the thread title.
-
We should enquire about Isco, or at least wait until January and assess what Oscar has done in that time.
-
That thread I created has now been lost within all the other new posts, so no more members are gonna see that. Shame, because as Choulo mentioned we only need one more member to reach an even number.
-
Nope, that was a friendly arranged by Adidas.
-
"Is this what consumes people's thoughts these days ffs" ^ You're on a football forum during the off-season, give 'your' head a wobble. If you're not interested in discussing the new adidas range for Chelsea, GTFO the thread.
-
It's pre-season..'PRE-SEASON' ffs, get a grip. Football fans are tribal, colours are part of the identity.
-
Who is Bright Sparks?, that guy has V.I.P status, we could have a Cup competition if he was admin.. Then again, since the leagues open to the public it might not be someone from the forum.
-
He could always do what Rooney did and super glue some of Coleen's pubes on his head.
-
How do you know he can still offer anything at this level.. do you seriously believe he can slot right in and do the job when called upon. Because let's face it, he's going to get far less game time than Eto'o, and it took him a while. I'm starting to believe this 'coaching role' is just to save his blushes; so when he fails to deliver, he's not going to be sent packing in an undignified way.

Really Idiotic point made there, Jose is the manager ffs, very different from your only real role being to put cones out. If he was serious about coaching, he should go for his coaching badges first, at least that would legitimise this. It will take him an entire season to adjust to playing again at this level, like it did with Eto'o after his stint away, and then he'll be 37. The only thing people remember about Henry's return was his beard, Kaka tarnished his legacy at Milan by returning as a washed up has-been.
-
Costa will want to be top dog, he's the alpha male.. I can only cringe at the idea of Drogba trying to 'mentor' him. This is a time for NEW leaders, a new era.. not going back into the past to find Lukaku a cheerleader.
-
I think like you said last season, people become dissociated when we have separate divisions, because it means they won't be part of the banter etc. That suggestion about one big league, so if you slip up.. the title race isn't over was perfect.
-
This isn't the same Didier Drogba though.. As Tomo has mentioned, it took Eto'o a full season to adjust after his retirement from 'competitive' football, it's going to be even more difficult for Drogba, as he'll have less (far less) games to get into the swing of things again. If he had kept his legacy the way it was, no player in the history of the game could match the way he went out; unless their last kick was to win the World Cup.
-
Our Munich hero has become Phil Neville 'putting the cones out', smh.
-
*you can delete this post as soon as you've read it* But.. if someone is going to call me a "tool" I have the right to respond to that in the same way.
-
tbf, even that wouldn't be good. Hmmm, washed up has-been at Leicester Vs hero in Munich.. hmmm let me think that one over..
-
That was in response to the post above describing how he can 'rile up' players in the dressing room etc, what's JT for then?. And do we really have that much invested in Lukaku anymore?, in regards to his future here.. I doubt there was any 'real' rift between Eto'o & Mourinho, the board clearly made a mistake letting him go.
-
Learn to read you twat, there is no better way to leave a football club! players would KILL to have an ending like that.
-
The coaching staff should consist of more intellectually driven players like Lampard
-
^ Nah fuck that, we're small-time like Arsenal with the Henry situation. Instead of looking for NEW leaders let's bring back a 36 year old and tarnish his fairytale ending in Munich.
-
As far as legacy goes.. you just can't ask for anything better than leaving after your last ever kick being the CL winner. Stupid decision by Didier and the board, Eto'o would have been a FAR better option.
