  1. Im not sure selling is an option - it was hard enough to give him away in the summer
  2. Totally with FB on this one. I fail to see how he's done a good job at Chelsea, he hasnt even delivered what he's always claimed he was there to deliver. I've said it enough times in the past and will probably continue to say it until the slimy fucker's out of our club. He's an utter tosser and the sooner he's gone the better. Couldnt think of a better place for him to go than Middle Eastlands either.
  3. He hasnt got a hope in hell - fortunately.
  4. Don't fancy our chances of getting anything out of this game. We just haven't looked good enough to get anything from the top four clubs this season nevermind our previous form against them.
  5. I was thinking that this morning. He's bagged 20 this season and could well hit 30 by May and yet there's still a huge amount of supporters saying we should sell him. Why ffs??? What would our goal difference look like without Anelka's contribution? Because Didier Fucking Drogba certainly hasn't contributed to it. As for anything Kenyon's got to say.......FUCK OFF AND GO TO CITY YOU TWAT!
  6. I remember Fergie saying in the summer that the squad we had would probably find it a lot harder to compete this season - not necessarily because they were old, as the headlines suggested, but mainly because they'd been there and done it already and the desire wouldn't match that of players with their careers ahead of them. Unfortunately, he got it right. There's no hunger in the first team, who generally know they'll be picked however they play and subsequently, they don't need to put in the effort.
  7. Won't have endeared him to the Nerazzurri, going on about a return to Chelsea when its the Milan derby today. As subtle as ever.
  8. Finally, they've woke up. Thank fuck for that.
  9. I'm so tired of this bollocks every week.
  10. I honestly can't see Roman bringing Mr Average back. Yeh ok, he came out of it looking ok last season but if Roman genuinely believed he could do the job without being carried by Clarke and the players, then he wouldn't have sacked him would he? Besides, the club really didn't like all the ant-semetic stuff and I couldn't see them wanting that sort of publicity again, we look stupid enough as it is.
  11. I think the worse case scenario is Avram Grant coming back, anything else I could cope with.
  12. A couple of months ago I started to get the feeling Scolari wouldn't be around in the summer and Rijkaard would replace him. I can still see Rijkaard coming tbh. He's always been linked to us and could well have been our manager already if he hadn't needed a break after Barca. Really don't fancy Ancelotti and Mancini's ego is way bigger than any of our players so he'd be a recipe for disaster, if he couldn't hold the Inter dressing room he'd have no hope with ours. As for the Hiddink short-term thing, I can't make my mind up. Don't particularly fancy yet another manager who isn't 100% focused on us but then again if the other alternative is Ray Wilkins caretaking, its a no-brainer.
  13. To be fair though, no-one's inherited as good a squad as Mourinho did.
  14. If the reports on Sky are to be believed Scolari really had it coming. Theyre saying Scolari was turning up late for training, arguing with half the players and they'd been begging him to play 4-4-2 for ages and he wasnt having any of it.
  15. Rijkaard's a wanker, but so was Mourinho before he came to Chelsea. If Rijkaard could do a job for us, he'd still be a wanker but I could learn to live with that.
  16. Have to agree, if we brought Grant back now we'd look even more stupid than we do already - and right now we look imcompetent enough as it is! Besides, he really was a complete dick who basically did fuck all while the players - and Steve Clarke - got on with it. The state we're in right now, Grant wouldn't be able to just sit back and do nothing in the same way as he did last season, so we'd be screwed with him this time round.
  17. I had a feeling all season Scolari was only there til the summer and then we'd see Rijkaard take over. Avram Grant?? Do me a favour ffs. Forget Zola, he's too honourable to walk out on West Ham. Moyes wouldnt work under the sort of conditions Chelsea managers have to put up with. Hiddink? How many times have we been linked with him? Mancini's bound to be linked again but he'd be a bloody nightmare.
  18. Our ability to keep hold of managers at Chelsea is pretty embarrassing really. 36 games?? I guess its a panic reaction to our slide down the table and Roman doesnt want to risk not playing in Europe next season. Ray Wilkins in charge for the game against Watford though? Fuck me thats a risk if ever I saw one. And as for Avram Grant being linked with a return so soon after he's been kicked out the door - words fail me!
  19. Snowing hard here again tonight.
  20. He's turned out to be pretty shit really. We wondered whether his lack of management in Europe would be a problem and now we have our answer. I guess we'll have to put up with him til the summer and just hope he doesnt do too much more damage between now and then.
  21. Wilkins is a dick. Doesnt he realise the PR spiel is just bullshit to all of us now? We've been hearing this crap all season and seeing very little evidence of us doing anything about our slide down the league. Now we're 4th he's telling us 2nd isnt good enough. Twat.
  22. I bloody hate it. Its a nightmare trying to drive in it and the pool cars at work are even worse. Plus my car had just gone through the carwash before the snow came, now its all shitty again. Had a snowball fight with the patients yesterday though, so it has its good points I guess.
  23. I agree with Elliot, why is this such a surprise? We've been winging it for ages. In fact we've been shit for months and just because we seemed to be hanging on to United and Liverpool's tails everyone was pretending it wasnt happening. Well, now its happened - we cant pretend we're not out of the title race anymore and have to face facts. We are bloody woeful and even qualifying for the Champions League this season isnt a certainty anymore.
