  1. Yeh I'd say go for shortest route - not that the bloody thing listens to what you tell it anyway.
  2. Poor bloke. Like someone said on another forum, he aint realised its Manchester City yet. As for City, after everything thats been said since they've become stupidly rich, I hope we bloody tank them.
  3. £550billion as a 'conservative estimate' these blokes are playing with - they could snap up the top four's squads if they fancy it, lol. Thats some serious pocket money they've got between them.
  4. Whoever he wants in January, I hope he keeps it quiet because whatever we offer, City will no doubt nip in the back door and offer more. Oh and they'll have to gag Kenyon and all because that mouthy twat just can't help himself.
  5. I don't particularly like their new owners either tbh, Chelsea had spent bloody months trying to get Robinho and they snuck in the back door, clearly without putting a lot of thought into it, and took him - that might well be just business as far as a lot of people are concerned but it definitely pissed me off, big time. And yeh, that is hypocritical because we did exactly the same when Roman arrived but I do feel bitter about that one deal in particular. The other thing that really annoys me - and I agree with Warnie on this - is them being called 'the new Chelsea' and the question 'if Chelsea can go from 10th to 1st why cant City?' When Roman bought Chelsea, we were already winning trophies and we'd qualified for the Champions League, so we were hardly sitting around 10th. City have won sod all for 32 years, and definitely dont finish around the top 4, so the leap for them will be a lot bigger than Chelsea's ever was. I couldn't give a toss if they achieve it, I just don't appreciate the direct comparisons as if Chelsea were a club languishing around 10th in the table before they had Roman's money, because that was never the case.
  6. Whoever told him to go public wasnt the sharpest were they? If anything was going to piss Real off, that was. Still, once he'd made his bed he had to lie in it and like him, I'd have gone anywhere to get away from them scumbags. As for the counselling, I'm sure his new club can afford it.
  7. Why are there even comparisons being drawn? These new City owners and what they've got in mind totally eclipse anything Roman has done at Chelsea. I mean, fucking hell, if we were accused of buying our titles, the anti-money brigade aint seen nothing yet, lol.
  8. How quickly they forgot Robben. I tell you, I despised Real Madrid before tonight but that pales into insignificance compared to how I feel about them now.
  9. The difference is Spurs need the money for Berbatov, Real dont need Chelsea's money when City will just bid more anyway. Real wouldnt sign to us if their lives depended on it.
  10. Robinho's agreed terms according to Guillem Balague on SkySports - the bastards wouldve sold him to Accrington before they let him play for Chelsea.
  11. Ironic really, lol. Mind you, at least when Roman came to Chelsea, Ranieri put a bit of thought into his signings. It looks like City really are pulling big names out of a hat indiscriminately - if a player's been mentioned this summer they'll put a bid in, lol.
  12. Robinho's apparently in Brazil so how do City plan to have talks, agree terms, sort a medical etc? At least if Real do finally agree to let him go, Chelsea have already sorted out terms with him.
  13. I don't miss Drogba, cant stand him personally but the fact is Chelsea are missing him. Despite his pre-season form, Anelka just doesnt seem to be good enough - I reckon I could tuck some of his chances away in my slippers to be perfectly honest. Whether Drogba's the answer anymore, we wont know til he's back but the fact is, Chelsea need someone a lot more clinical than Anelka.
  14. I think I've jinxed him. I've bigged him up so much on my blog lately, it's sods law his form would dip, lol.
  15. Im not sure, I was reading up about Article 17 in FIFA's transfer regulations and he's been there 3 years (and he's under 28) so he can unilaterally break his contract. Usually this costs around £10million to do apparently, but I think there's some kind of clause in Robinho's contract that would make it silly money so maybe the catch is clubs just arent prepared to pay it?
  16. Chelsea's response to Real: http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0...1380720,00.html Fuck off Calderon
  17. Technically he can rescind his contract now he's been there 3 years, it'll cost though.
  18. We had attacking players on the pitch??? They couldn't finish their dinner ffs. Plenty of huffing and puffing, no end product. Second half we looked way too dis-jointed. I have no idea what he said to them at half-time but whatever it was, it didnt work.
  19. Whoever made the mistake, it was a biggie, lol. Real are pissed big time. We havent got a hope in hell of getting him now.
  20. Ha ha, yeh it was fucking glorious in the 80's. And less of the 'bitch', save it for someone who'd be offended.
  21. At least they happened in my lifetime. You gonna be able to say the same?
  22. That's it love, you get them out of the attic and dust them down.
