Nothing I can say, agreed!

Exactly. As unbelievable as it sounds now, he could've had a really shit season, not playing much and starting from the bench like a lot of loanees. The Odemwingie thing helped, but Steve still gave him a chance and the fans got behind him 100%, we can hardly say the same. He's completely entitled to say thank you.

This was what I was trying to get at, albeit a little more praising of Coutinho; that Countiho seems more effective, in an attacking sense. More direct. Like a mini (ok, tiny) Hazard, who'd still get an assist. Regarding Oscar, I just feel that in terms of what he was brought here to do and how he is supposed to be at his most effective (i.e. playmaking), he just isn't/can't be right now. I understand his job is a lot harder and all, but I'm just speaking on the overall impact of a game. I suppose it was easier for Coutinho to settle in, considering his job is easier, but I do believe in Oscar and I have no doubts that there will be no comparisons between the two players in the coming years. No, no. No offence taken. We'll be lol'ing about this debate, probably after next season when Liverpool, once again finish 7th for the third season and we're starting to get back in the title hunt!

He played there at the start of the season and I was far from impressed. No, of course not, but it's a comparison between teams. They beat them 6-0 and we lost 3-2 from being 2-1 up. A bit different don't you think? Did I mention QPR? Don't be so pedantic.

Right, first, I said right now. Put it down to Oscar being fatigued or Coutinho having more experience in Europe, but I still think he's better right now. Your point is easily reversable. Especially when you consider your next line, "If we didn't have Mata". Yes, Coutinho is at a shit club, but Oscar is at a good one. Therefore, Coutinho doesn't have the same quality players around him as Oscar does. Even if Oscar was played in his position, I still think he's far from being effective in the PL. Coutinho however, has speed on his side. I'm not saying he's a better player, end of story; I'm saying I think he's better at the moment. I believe Oscar will become better than him, but I don't believe he is now. That's all. And we lost to that shit team...
-
As much as it pains me to say it, I think Coutinho is better than Oscar at the moment. Oh and... Fixed!
-
Look on the brightside, Bale might not go this summer, but he will eventually. And where will Tottenham be then?
-
Oh why did we let di Santo go?!?

OFF TOPIC Just saw this...ha. As much as I hate United, Roy Keane was an absolute midfield general. Maybe you're a little too young to remember the player, instead of the youtube clips of his red cards, so i'll forgive you. I'll just leave this here...oh, and do note Edgar Davids and a little player called Zinedine Zidane in the opposing midfield.

If the boys aren't motivated to the max for this one, it'll be very, very difficult. Even with their bad form, I still expect them to be well organised. So I don't believe Rafa getting his tactics right will do much; the boys just need to want it more.

This and everything about it. That's why I was so relieved when he was booed against Swansea when being exchanged for Ba back in January. I thought it might become a thing, but it seemed to only be for that game; because then we went back to cheering for his throw-in and corners... Judging by his recent comments in the past month, about 'wanting to prove his critics wrong' and 'expecting to see out his contract', I think it might be the only way, because I think he is actually that deluded. He has to be. Either that, or he just goes home every night and laughs in his bath full of the millions he's milked from us...I honestly don't know what image makes me more angry... I mean, why not boo him? Who cares what other people think? We're already made look like the villains, no matter what we do. The media, and Liverpool fans in particular, somehow believe we've treated him like shit, when quite the opposite has happened: we've heaped praise on someone who has clearly done nothing to deserve it. In fact, it's like he was instantly raised to legend status when he was bought. Did Drogba get such adulation for winning throw-ins and corners when he wasn't performing? I don't fucking think so... We're already evil in everyone else's eyes. Liverpool fans believe we don't deserve him. So why not show them how 'evil' we can really be while we're at it?

Sometimes, you just have to laugh at the whole situation Torres situation! It's actually hilarious how bad he is! How anyone at the club in authority can believe he is our main man, the one to take us forward and how he can be here next season is beyond me...and i'll a sick feeling he actually will be.
-
Wow. That is all. Honestly, I never really took notice of of him until tonight. Be great if we signed him, but I can't see it...maybe we can hope that Roman might realise that scoring 4 against Real Madrid in the CL semi-final is more impressive than scoring 3 against us in a glorified friendly...
-
If this is actually going through, we should just give them Marin instead of loaning KDB. Or just give them Marin for the sake of it, since getting Schurrle kind of makes him obsolete; whatever chance he had of getting games is gone with Andre's arrival.
-
Does anyone know if his 2 game ban for his 10th yellow card is inclusive in the 10, or will it be 12 in total? Because that would be hilarious. It'd be even better if he appealed, only to get a lengthier ban!
-
A double figure ban, doesn't give us our 2 points back, but I'm happy. That'll do pig, that'll do.
-
Agreed. Our attacking midfield options are brilliant, but having no quality DMs, DLP and world class striker are massive gaps. So much so in fact, at times it's like we play 4-0-3-0, particularly against top teams. Also, Oscar is not mature enough at the moment that he can actually dictate a game, but i'm sure he'll gain that ability in the coming years. Defence could also do with another classy CB in the mould of Hummels etc., but yes, we're not too far off being a complete team. I'd hope that the majour missing pieces are bought this summer, instead of waiting another 2-3 seasons before we see our full strength team for the next 5-6 years.
-
Yossi is a little bitch. Did he seriously think we were going to forget him kissing the Arsenal badge? Celebrating from the bench when they scored against us? Little shit. He seriously gets on my nerves. Now he's acting like the victim; classic scouse attitude. Well done Yossi, you've had a great career here being a waste of space, now fuck off back to Liverpool.
-
That game just made me realise how terrified I am of how far away we are from Bayern at this moment...it's like Champions League Vs. Championship. No joke. Maybe even League 1. Scary stuff.
-
Yeah, pretty much makes the Bundesliga redundant now. Especially when someone snaps up Lewadowski in the summer. Pep is a overrated knob, he couldn't even hack it in a two-team league with Messi last year, so now he wants no competition at all. What a cock.
-
Are we going to finish in the top 4? - Achieved!
The Mak replied to Styles's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Ba needs to start every league game from now on. I fully believe he would've bullied Liverpool's defence, especially Charrager. Honestly, if we don't get top 4, we don't fucking deserve it. In retrospect, I was glad Sturridge had a part in both goals, maybe it'll show the board how fucking retarded they are for choosing Torres over every other striker we've had. Games like Fulham, West Ham, QPR, Southampton, Newcastle, Reading, if we can't beat those teams, we don't deserve it. Having one of the most negative managers at the helm certainly doesn't help. The only silver lining I can see if we don't get top 4 is that it might prompt Roman to seek a new board/advisors that isn't a bunch complete bumbling idiots. Also, we might finally have a proper excuse to get rid of Torres and that would be absolutely amazing. -
Disgusting bunch. I've always said their fans act like a bunch on brainwashed idiots. Always the victims, never their fault. Always blame someone/something else for their own problems. I've had Liverpool fans tell me that Carroll, Downing, Henderson and Adam were all signings made by their technical director, Damien Comolli, not Queen Kenny. They also STILL idolise Queen Kenny, even though he was quick to pick up his £12m+ pay packet after his job of building an 80s long-ball team, setting them back about 5 years. But History is the most important thing to them, so it makes sense. Now I bet some of them are even trying to defend Suarez, because without him, they'd be fighting relegation and they know it; despite their braindead notion that they're one of the classiest clubs in Europe. With that in mind, I hope Suarez stays, just so the rest of the world can see what a bunch of fucking dirty, unwashed hypocrites they are. Liverpool and Suarez, a match made in scum heaven.
-
When we're getting on the bus to go home, I hope we leave Torres behind.
-
Exactly. People are getting all gooey eyed over Schurrle, but all I see is ANOTHER attacking-midfielder. What are we doing? Stockpiling them? If de Bruyne is only going on loan, what the fuck happens to him when he gets back? Nobody say he's going as a DM, yes, he has a wicked long pass, but his defensive abilities are no better than Lampard's. You also won't see any of those brilliant crosses of his if he's a DM. All I see in Schurrle is a threat to KDB's career here, if he's going on loan or not. It also worries me that we're continually being linked with attacking players only. I know most clubs are, but not even a whiff of being linked with a DM in a while. Whoever is in charge of our signings seems to think they're playing fucking football manager: sign all the attacking players for more goals! And who is in charge of signings? Because we don't even have a manager yet...we have all these AMs and CMs, while we're playing a formation where DMs are vital; CMs we're trying to shoe-horn into DM positions. I know, how about we just actually buy a DM/DLP instead?!?!
-
If this guy is similar to Sturridge like people are saying, then this makes no sense to me. Have you just seen the ones that have gone in or...?? Sorry if I'm so damn skeptical, but the last german we bought didn't exactly work out. And I don't know who he'll displace out of the 3 amigos. Are we seriously playing 22m for a squad player? When we could have easily kept Danny or just recall de Bruyne? We don't even have a fucking manager for next season! The more I think about it, the less sense it makes... Anyway, here's a story from ESPN and it mentions de Bruyne and his agent: http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/202840.html
