  1. So much so that he wants a showdown the next time I'm at the Bridge. Touchy!
  2. Gonna call our fans plastic again. Back on ignore with you. Oh the irony. The guy who openly discriminates against international supporters gets on his high horse about that. Don't make me laugh!
  3. Martin Tyler and this other guy are practically touching themselves when talking about Derby.
  4. How shit can you be? All that time and not even a shot from Eto'o. Fucking hell.
  5. Lol, I know all of that thanks. Then why was he saying weeks ago that he'd definitely be in the January market? It seemed very important to him at the time. My point is that he's contradicted himself and made himself look like a fool on more than one occasion. He should just shut up and say nothing if secrecy is the game.
  6. I'd just like to take this moment to say that David Moyes is the biggest idiot in football. It's honestly like everytime he opens his mouth he somehow manages to become more of an idiot. Sometimes I actually feel a little bit sorry for United fans...and then I remember who they actually are and then I laugh loudly! Sometimes I think these quotes are bullshit purely because I can't imagine someone contradicting themselves so much and acting like a clueless knob. He refused to get Thiago, didn't get De Rossi, turned down Ozil and took the entire summer to buy a useless mop of a midfielder at the very last second and as a result has been saying for the past while that he'll definitely be in the market in January, highlighting its importance. Now he says their business will mainly be done in the summer...does he not understand that he has a terrible, terrible team without the likes of RVP (who he injured with his training)? Does he not know that the chances of him making the CL probably rest on this transfer window? Does he know that literally no top-quality player will go to United without CL football? And that Rooney will probably leave? Seriously, De Rossi came out during the week and said he would've killed himself if he went to United. Moyes is honestly like a some sort of child-manager. He's an absolute numpty and it's bloody brilliant! The comments from United fans are great to read! http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11667/9102690/transfer-news-manchester-united-boss-david-moyes-wont-make-panic-buys
  7. Lol, are you crying over your stats? Don't cry about it lad!
  8. Lol, whatever that means! You and your stats. How about not looking at numbers and look at the games themselves? No? Too difficult? A blind person would know who the better player is. One player has 30 appearances for one of the best international sides in the world with 11 goals and the other is Victor Moses for fuck sake. Schurrle scores against quality teams like Austria, Belgium, Sweden and Ireland ( ) in important World Cup qualifiers while Moses scores against Ethiopia... Look at the stats then. Moses, an established PL player, scored 1 goals in the league in 23 appearances against Swansea. Goals against Leeds, Middlesbrough, Wolves, Southampton, Rubin Kazan, Basel and Shaktar in cup competitions. Besides from Shaktar, the teams he's scored against aren't exactly great. They're mainly Championship and Europa League level. Schurrle on the other hand is only half-way through his first season and has already tripled Moses' contribution in the league. Sounds exaggerated I know, but those are the stats! His goals came away to Stoke and at home to Manchester City, a title rival. That goal against City could mean a lot more than a number on a page. If we end up winning the league, it could be argued that Schurrle's contribution is already tenfold to that of Moses. He's also only been used in one cup game so far against PL opposition compared to 14 games of Moses (including EL) where he was mainly effective. He's performed well in the Champions League games and looked an absolute menace against Munich - people tend to forget that as well. That is mainly due to the pace being similar to the Bundesliga and as soon as he is fully adapted here I would expect to see similar performances in the league. He has still done well in the league though and I do not think it is a coincidence that his dip in form has come at a time where he is used to having a winter break. My main point is that we want players who can do well against quality opposition when called upon, not just against Championship/Europa league level teams...and so, indicating that Moses is as good as/better than Schurrle based on those stats is like saying Torres had a fantastic goalscoring season last year! Let's wait until Schurrle's second season to begin to truly judge him, but so far I think it is clear that he's the better option when compared alongside Moses. Though, I'm not really sure if you remember what Moses was like. I think you're in for a shock if he ever comes back! Just to remind you as well, the only reason we signed Moses was because we couldn't get Schurrle. I think the club had Schurrle as the preferred choice for a reason. I'll leave you with that and your dissected stats. Now jog bog on
  9. I think if they ran at each other at full pace it would probably cause some sort of natural disaster or black hole that would wipe out the entire world. The unstoppable force Vs. The immovable object = dead.
  10. Yeah, I personally think you should hand over your moderator mantle to bushman. Just imagine it.... R.I.P. TalkChelsea. "Yoda you call me? BAN!"
  11. How I love this man. Favourite player outside Chelsea. I've wanted him to move here for years, but I can't see it now to be honest!
  12. How do other clubs come up with prices? How was Willian priced at £30m? How was Falcao priced at £50m? Silly question. Of course these players aren't actually worth these prices, it just the inflated market; we should ask for no different. We'll have a hard time of dealing will FFP if we continue to let quality players go for buttons. At the very least, KDB will go on loan until the World Cup and it's pretty safe to say that his price will rise afterwards. Therefore it is not inconceivable for his price to be in and around 25m by then. If Wolfsburg can't afford him now it's fine, I'm sure he'll have plenty of suitors in the summer. We may even keep him if Mata goes. We're not desperate to be rid of him, so why would we sell him for less now when we could get more later?
  13. Not fair? And who ever said you get value in January? You heard José, nobody will be getting any of our players on the cheap. And if Wolfsburg can't meet his valuation then they shouldn't be bidding for him, end of story. Cheeky bastards.
  14. Thanks Jype, someone likes to interpret stats their own way to suit their arguments!
  15. Probably the stupidest rumors for quite some time. Annoying that the press are like a dog with a bone over the whole thing though. Seriously, I know they lack a bit of common sense but come on....
  16. €15 is actually quite insulting when you think of his stats at Werder bremen last year: 10 goals and 11 assists in 34 games from midfield in a team scrapping at the end of the Bundesliga.
  17. €15m?! Lol, they can piss right off with that amount. You'll could easily get double that for him after the World Cup. They'd probably end up selling him for €40m in a few years anyway. Lol, maybe even back to us! (God damn, @Stingray has me in a GIF/funny humour after earlier on!)
  18. I think some people are forgetting how hot and cold Moses was, and by that I mean mostly cold. He would rarely have a good game and most of the time he managed to absolutely murder our counter-attacks single-handedly because of his horrible touch and control. Schurrle hasn't been good in his past two appearances I'll admit, but up until then he was always good when called upon. He went the good part of a month without playing, but managed to get us 2 goals (almost 3) against Stoke when he came back - not that I expect people to readily remember that because we lost, so people are prone to amnesia in this case. Moses on the other hand can't get into Liverpool's team. A lot of people around here seem to be prone to the 'recency effect'....first in the Mata thread, now here!
  19. He didn't start it to be fair. And posting a gif with Stingray in the thread is pretty much asking for it! I love Stingray. Mainly because he sometimes balances out other people's seriousness!
  20. Love that quote! Great to know that the club is trying not to be undercut on the market anymore. It's about time as well. I'm tired of us being extorted when buying players and then clubs getting our players on the cheap/free. This inflated market is a two-way street! Good to know as well because it seems like we'll have a few youngsters who can't all make it into the first team in the future, so we'll be looking to get the maximum out of our investments (e.g. Piazon, T. Hazard, Atsu, Traore etc. can't all play for us!).
  21. Oh... Well let's hope they have something in his contract that encourages more game-time and that it's not just because they agreed to pay more of his wages (e.g. Chalobah).
  22. I'm assuming their strikers aren't great? Because I'd rather he stayed at MKD instead of risking him on the bench for the second half of the season... Edit: I just saw that their striker Chris Martin has 15 goals in 23 appearances, so they're not exactly stuck for goals. Anyone know if they play with 2 strikers? It doesn't seem like a great move if they don't...
