Leverkusen somehow managed to get thumped at home 5-0 by an extremely shitty United...I don't see a problem with them.

The fans at the Bridge deserved a better display than that. A severe lack of effort after the first goal.

We have become absolutely abysmal at set-pieces, attacking and defending.
-
A bit more cut and thrust in the next half please. Mata maybe?
-
Would love if we got Galatasaray in the draw just so Didier can come home for just one more match...
-
Maybe I could understand if he was losing, but he wasn't even.

Not by much mind. Both are little cunts in my eyes, but I'd still take Suarez. I said it at the end of last season and I got absolutely slated for it. Whatever about service or style of play, he makes goals out of absolutely nothing and if he and Lukaku were here we'd probably win the league. Anyway, here some stats from yesterday on Aguero Vs Suarez and you can see that Suarez edges him in every department while playing for a worse team: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/pitchside-europe/aguero-v-suarez-best-striker-premier-league-135614309.html

Well definitely, based on José's comments, there is absolutely no basis for KDB being dead last in the pecking order. That's absolute bullshit in my opinion. I've also felt really bad for him particularly in the past few games, not just because he hasn't started, but because our defence has been so fucking terrible that José is too afraid to substitute him on out of fear he'll be too rusty. Afterwards, he still doesn't give him a starting chance in the next game, meaning he's pretty much stuck in that shitty cycle unless someone gets injured.

Agree with the KDB part but... You can hardly say that Oscar has been immense and Hazard underrated in some performances while calling Schurrle average. If you're saying that Oscar has been 'quality' surely its mostly because of his work-rate, because his goals have masked his deficiencies going forward. While Hazard has been average for his high standards up until a few weeks ago. Maybe again you're pointing to his work-rate, I'm not sure. They have also been Mourinho's 'untouchables' in the team, so people would naturally rate them higher I suppose. However, I do know that Schurrle is alongside Oscar and Ramires for the amount of effort he puts into his game. People may not notice it as much because he's on the wings or something, but he has played well every single time he has been called upon as far as I'm concerned. He also managed to score twice (almost 3 times) and was the best player on the pitch after going a considerable length of time on the bench. I don't think there are many, if any, players in the team who could've done the same (Hazard if anyone). It's down to his discipline and mentality, which has been nothing but brilliant. In that regard, he kind of actually reminds me of Paulo by the way Mourinho said that he'd perform 7/10 in every game. I think Schurrle will give you at least 7/10 no matter what the circumstance and that's indispensable.

If he doesn't get a chance tomorrow night then, sadly, there really is no hope for him.

Cheeky bastard! Can you imagine?! 'I nearly tried a cheeky panenka penalty in Champions League final', admits Drogba http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2521051/Didier-Drogba-says-nearly-tried-panenka-penalty-Champions-League-final.html

Paulo you handsome bastard. So good, he looks photoshopped!

Well we all know that and would hope that a DM/DLP is still top priority. But the defence is not helped by the fact that Jose won't budge Ivanoivic from RB or even give Bertrand a run in the team, meaning we effectively only have 3 CBs (Kalas seems to be a 'break in case of emergency' back-up). So with one injured at the moment there is no rotation whatsoever and it's showing badly. So if Jose isn't going to give players like Kalas or Chalobah a shot, he may as well start thinking about getting someone that he will and someone like Zouma would be great if he was given proper chances. I'd like to see Chalobah just come back here after his loan and use him, but if Jose doesn't do it now then, sadly, I don't think he ever will to be honest.
-
Let's hope Jose is actually looking for a CB, because only having the 3 is starting to show badly in the performances. He won't budge Brana from RB if his life depended on it and Kalas seems to be a 'break in case of emergency' back-up. I don't know about January though: £10m French bad boy Zouma heads Mourinho's wanted list for January spree http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2520597/French-bad-boy-Kurt-Zouma-heads-Chelseas-wanted-list-January.html I like this guy, but he's 19 and we all know what happens to players under a certain age at Chelsea...he could be Jose's new 'Varane project' though. And it's better than spending £35m on that Mangala; such money could be used towards a certain Axel Witsel... He's also been inexplicably banned for 10 games for a challenge that was more misfortunate than anything else:

The man who compares the two players also says this afterwards: And you freak out when I say it's ridiculous to compare right now... Are you actually for real?
-
Ridiculous. Didier was playing for a semi-professional French team (Levallois, ever hear of them?) at the age of 16 while Romelu was basically a starter for Anderlecht. Compare their seasons in the PL at a similar age (26+) before making such assumptions as 'a poor mans Drogba'.
-
I suppose we'll wait another while yet so!
-
I said good, not great! Like him or not, he's part of one of the more solid defences this season and he was bought for half of Luiz.
-
Oh, another bigot. How lovely! And you from your old folks home!
-
Nah, I'll never get fed up supporting my team, thanks. :blue scalf: Do you not get fed up of being a ?
-
Do you seriously not get tired of spewing you anti-Mikel bile? The whole team, except Andre, were bad today.
-
Well I know that part....
-
Didn't we try to sign Jores Okore? Was that just because he's young talent and another one to send on loan or were we actually looking for a CB? Knowing us, the latter. Could do with someone like Vertonghen or Chiriches. Good, cheap CBs.

3rd now...Liverpool go 2nd on goal difference.
