Lol, nah, I found it! I'm not that funny!

I'd love that too but it's a lot easier said than done at this level! Arsenal have been trying it for years, but they've won absolutely nothing for 8 years. That sort of time is just not afforded at a club like Chelsea, especially when we have Roman - who sacked Carlo a year after winning the double... Besides, the fact that Arsenal are beginning to challenge again after going out and spending big bucks for once (Ozil) is no coincidence!

I don't know how it's possible for a job to 'suck' before its even started...

I understand completely! But I just feel that this is the type of stance the club will have to take in future with situations like this considering FFP is looming. I don't think we can just continue to be extorted when buying players and then sell a quality player with massive potential at a cut-price just because he's a nice guy and want what's best for him and his career. I don't think a price around £25m would be completely unreasonable after the WC. Especially if you consider that Schalke are supposed to putting a price of €40m on Draxler's head, a player not too much younger than KDB and had similar stats to him last season in the Bundesliga despite player playing further forward. We'll agree to disagree on this point though!

Apparently Moyes is up for Manager of the Month award for December...if he gets it, at least he'll have something to put next to his January award!

Who said we expect him to love Chelsea? We're only expecting him to honour his contract with us. If José decides he has to come and fight for his place then that is what will happen. He just said "I don't decide what happens with my future" and rightly so...we're not some little pushover of a club in desperate need of money. I agree that in the long-term it isn't really viable to keep both him and Cech; maybe just for one year though. I would also favour having 15 years of Courtois over another 5 years of Cech. But at the same time he also can't moan his way into the squad or into a move without kicking a ball in a Chelsea shirt first. I think its disrespectful. Courtois is nothing compared to this club. We're not asking him to love the club, we're simply asking him to respect the club, its wishes and the contract he has signed. And if that is considered crazy then I just don't know anymore...

I agree that too many loans and not enough stability can hinder development, but the timing of this loan makes it perfectly acceptable. If he gets loaned, he won't be worried about his long-term career; the only thing he'll be worried about is the World Cup and doing his best to be one of the first names on the team sheet. If it is simply communicated to him that the loan is simply a short-term solution so he gets on the plane to Brazil and that his future will be sorted in the summer, I'm sure it would be fine. At the end of the day, and as cruel as it may sound, he would be happy with it because he's not really in a position of power here. We would like a solution that is best for both parties but realistically we are still a business as Pizy has said and we want the outcome to favour us more so. A short-term loan allowing KDB to regain his form in time for the WC while also increasing his asking price would be best overall.

First off, what are you talking about 'buy-back clause'? Sorry? That doesn't happen. There is not such a thing as a 'buy-back clause' in football. If they existed, why would anyone buy young players? There may be a 'first refusal' option, but I still think such things are stuff of fantasy or, at the very most, gentlemen's agreements. They are not truly viable in modern football and I will bet my life that there is no 'buy-back' clause in the KDB deal. How could his price drop? It certainly can't get any lower. What? You think they're taking a risk by spending millions on him in January? The best young player of the Bundesliga 12-13? Please... He will stroll into their team and be their shining light. There isn't a better player than him in the Wolfsburg team. And your comparisons between Piazon and him couldn't be more off the mark. Again, are you honestly comparing the best young player of the Bundesliga 12-13 to Piazon? A 19 year old who was competing against the likes of Isco? Lol, just stop. KDB is not just some youngster from our academy...
-
A bit silly to sell him now unless its for a really good price. It should be a loan. Watch his price rise during the summer.
-
It'll be very interesting to see Atletico without Courtois next season. We'll see just exactly how much they relied on him...
-
You're not mac.bro's brother/best mate are you? You have a similar style about you...
-
I actually can't wait. I think I might actually wet myself in anticipation! Seriously though, I was talking to one of my best mates who's a United fan (he's actually extremely level-headed) and he's quite fearful of facing us to say the least...it's great!

Incoming bids from Wolfsburg for Traore & Piazon...

No need to imagine mate.... (Ajax)

3rd striker could be Schurrle and I think the likes of Balotelli/Lukaku/Schurrle would work very well for us. We don't need the amount of strikers City have because we only play with the one striker compared to their two. You only have to look at Ba to see that us having 3 strikers doesn't really work unless there is a serious injury. Someone is always going to be unhappy and for the time being that unhappy striker can be Torres after the summer (unless he wants to leave after we sign someone big, other than that we won't be rid of him anytime soon). It would be nice to have a top, even decent, striker who would be happy to sit as 3rd choice in a lone striker system, but it's very rare (e.g. Munich right now don't even have that luxury and would see Muller as their 3rd striker).

Same here. Playmaker and a box-to-box, brilliant player. The only thing I'd have reservations about his back problems. And Madrid sniffing around him as well, but let's hope he learns from Sahin!

Wolfsburg wait to hear from Chelsea about Kevin De Bruyne bid http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9104538/transfer-news-wolfsburg-wait-to-hear-from-chelsea-about-kevin-de-bruyne-bid

It really says it all about our current striker situation when what you just said is considered a positive. *Sigh*...this is the part where I say we need a real striker, but whatever. I'm just tired of Torres in general. Tomo and Leif have said enough for me!
-
I was thinking that, but I still thought it was a keeper kit so I wasn't sure. Shaka, brilliant!
-
Does anyone know WTF Mike Dean is doing here? He plays advantage, Swansea get tackle and.... Does he support Swansea or something? Or maybe he just hates United! More believeable!
-
(I had to! My last one, I promise! )

I felt like punching the screen when I saw that, but then I saw Eva and realised that she's done more for us to win the CL than Turnbull and I felt better! Ah, brilliant! That kind of looks like a Chelsea kit...do you get any Cech comparisons? Oh, I know Stingray, I would second that! The similarities are quite astonishing!

Nah, I was always a Hilario man myself!

Found it difficult in the first half with a lot of bodies in the way but we got there in the end. Derby were nowhere near as good as the commentators seemed to think, as we dictated for the majority and forced them into long-balls. They were good defensively while it lasted. Willian was an absolute menace again. I thought he might be tired from being used quite a bit recently, but he just kept running. Just as important to the team now as Hazard and Oscar. Brilliant, brilliant player. His natural ability is amazing, but I can't help thinking if he would be even better if he developed in a better league? Scary thought! On another note, isn't it such a relief to have someone like Mark as a second keeper? Love it. Good game all round and good results over the course of the hectic Christmas period. Plenty of rest for between our next couple of fixtures can only help!

Never called you anything. I asked were you going to act like one again, didn't I? Before, I drew the similarities between the definition of a bigot and your behaviour towards international supporters and you still refuse to respond to it in a meaningful way. It says a lot.
