I just think we need an experienced 2nd striker in our squad...maybe someone like Luiz Adriano (Shakhtar) who is available on a free at the end of the season My only issue with Bamford is that he needs regular playing time...being 2nd/3rd choice at Chelsea won't really help his development
Solanke isn't even ready for first team football and Bamford may not even make it at Chelsea With the striker options you mentioned, we'd be lucky to challenge for top 4 next season
Hopefully you're wrong about United finishing in 3rd...they don't deserve to finish top 4 based on this season Would love to see who Van Gaal signs for United without UCL football
I don't think any club is stupid enough to pay 80 million for a player (other than Real Madrid)...and as a result, Reus won't break the transfer record He'll probably get 50 million from someone...maybe Manchester United if they finish top 4
Looks like a top quality player in the making I don't really care if he's the next Desailly or not, as long as he works hard and becomes our starting CB in the coming years, I'll be happy
It would have been wonderful to see Cech retire at Chelsea, brilliant keeper, stepped up when we needed it the most and for me, he'll be one of the four* legends of the past decade. *The other three legends: JT, Didier and Lampard I wish Cech all the best if/when he moves on
You make good points but at the end of the day, Bamford isn't at Kane's level For me, Bamford is 2-3 years away from becoming a squad player at Chelsea
I have to say well done to Spurs, they're reaping the benefits of putting their faith into a talented english youngster... Maybe someday one of our youngsters will get the chance to play regularly in the EPL
He won't be as good as Shearer...as in, I doubt he will score 30+ goals in the EPL for three consecutive seasons like Shearer did at Blackburn.. However, he'll be a good striker if Tottenham know how to use him properly in the coming years..
Lukaku was their best striker and Barcelona offered to waive the loan fee if Deulefou played in more than 50% of Everton's EPL matches I really wish we would only loan out players with guaranteed playing time
I just don't see Southampton finishing top 4, they'll probably finish 6th at best My prediction: Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Spurs/Liverpool Hopefully United miss out, would be great to see who Van Gaal manages to sign without UCL football
I don't think he can show any more in attack because he is not a naturally creative player. He's basically a jack of all trades but master of none type of midfielder
I was a youth development coach in the past and from what I've seen, Oscar is nothing more than a squad midfielder. He'll have some really good games and then he'll go missing in the second half of the season due to whatever reason I can see why Jose is keeping him in the team, he offers defensive cover for Cesc and he doesn't seem to be the type that complains
