  1. Just like De Bruyne, I'm glad Salah left Chelsea They both need a 'free' role to thrive...and they deserve better than the bench
  2. I'm not sure if you understand my point! City having Lampard means nothing as he has no relationship with the club or the fans. He is just another player earning high wages...
  3. What do you expect? You can't keep buying high priced players with egos, force them to play together and expect consistent results What City is missing is the "homegrown" player, as in the person who understands what it means to play for the club, the person who can relate to the fans, the person who is willing to give 110% when required At Chelsea, we had Terry & Lampard....United had Giggs & Scholes...City have no-one like that
  4. Would love to wrap up the title before the Liverpool game, just to see Gerrard clapping and their 'guard of honor' at Stamford Bridge
  5. Fair enough...I'll never understand why we signed Cuadrado, especially in January Schurrle would of been more useful than Cuadrado as an impact sub..
  6. Based on 1 match? If Neymar came to the EPL, he wouldn't be much better than Cuadrado in terms of holding the ball from stronger defenders
  7. Talented kid, wouldn't be surprised to see him heading back to Barcelona after 2016 (when their transfer ban finishes)
  8. I'd be fine with getting Sterling IF we fix our central midfield issue first!
  9. I have to agree with this point, I don't think Oscar is suited to playing 35+ games of high intensity Premier League football I still believe he's a good player, just needs to move to a different league...
  10. Unless Brana is injured or sold going into next season, Azpi won't play RB
  11. The profit figures on this table don't account for third party ownership fees.. I know for sure that Porto only got half the listed profit amount for Falcao and Anderson...
  12. I was trying to say that Schurrle's natural position on the pitch is LM/LW...I believe we sold him because RW isn't his natural position On the other hand, Walcott can only play in the RW position. I would rather give Atsu a chance than pay Walcott 120,000 a week to sit on the bench
  13. I thought we let Schurrle go because he's not a natural RW
  14. You're one of the very few on this forum (as well as other forums) that rates John Stones ahead of Varane. Any particular reason why (other than typical English hype)?
  15. Hopefully we're not relying on JT in two years time...I would expect Zouma & the new CB to form a decent partnership by then!
  16. Kalou left Chelsea, scored 30 goals in 2 seasons for Lille and earned a move to the Bundesliga...he may not be at a top side but he's a regular and he's scoring goals. As for Malouda, he was past his peak by the time he left Chelsea in 2013 and yet from what I've heard, he earned a good amount in the Turkish league
  17. Why scrap youth football, just change the eligibility age. For example, the Under-21 finals tournament is held between 17th and 30th June, 2015...as a result, make the rule that you have to be born on or after 1 July 1993 to be eligible. That way, throughout the whole tournament, every player is under the age of 21
  18. Can Sterling track back? If not, I don't see how he fits into Mourinho's tactics
  19. I think Koke will stay with Atletico, unless we make a ridiculous offer
  20. I'd take Varane over Stones any day of the week.
  21. It's because Players born on or after 1 January 1992 are still eligible for the U-21 2015 championships I really wish they would change the rule. Making 22/23 year olds play in an U-21 competition is pointless...because most of them will never earn a full cap for England
  22. Couldn't agree more...keen to see whether Kane becomes a consistent 20-goal a season striker Hopefully Harry Kane's story will motivate other English youngsters to keep working hard for that opportunity...
  23. I'm trying to judge him fairly...I honestly believe that he will thrive in Italy (if Juventus buy him) He's just not suited to playing a full EPL season
  24. Why would Barcelona criticize Guardiola? He's their former player, he's Barca through and through Mourinho left Chelsea, came back and he's just as stubborn as he was in his first spell. He still doesn't play the youth and his loyalty towards some players is fairly concerning for the future.. As for bringing significant victories, I'll give the praise to Roman for pouring money into the club and creating a platform which eventually allowed the likes of Mourinho, Ancelotti, Di Matteo & Hiddink to be managers at Chelsea
