  1. because all the interim manager, somehow always can make this team reach final in european campaign but actually, this cross in my mind, why roman and board, still feel fine even they parted with manager in the middle of the season, make this team like sink ship from changing the manager they didnt have slap in their head, because they maybe think, with changing manager the team will be 'wake up' to perform better on the pitch for the rest of the season campaign or save the season if mourinho does a great job in the first three season, how if not ???? i really hopeful, mourinho will stick for 3-4 years minimum, but not become delusional my question is, beside title gamestyle is what really roman want isn it ? and gamestyle only can work and implement successfully by time, not by what result you get so why he always change the manager over and over again because the result ?? in the past roman showed to us, he react when bad period hit us, not keep patient the manager to try building his own methode to the team doubt of Roman patience of result when we hit bad perioud for couple months, is stll there although i really hope there roman and mou have clear agreement to have stability atleast for next 2 years, no matter how the season going
  2. yeah, always want TOP performance meanwhile on the pitch what we saw is crap performance from benayoun, marin, mikel, torres and some player who often play average in our line up. Really frustating, painfull and ironic another great talent we have, play good at another team. They actually should have give a chance here ffs More promising, to develop by time than keep playing first team player who often play so so, over and over again
  3. moses still categorised as homegrown too, if im not mistaken ? i dont really understand, the reason why we interest for winger , we have marin , who still rare playing and marin and walcott i think not much different type player ? so what makes him better ? except the epl experience maybe for backup striker ?, walcott absolutely not the option
  4. i noticed norwich often make their 2 striker to press our side, when our CB have the ball and try to buliding attack from cech direct ball to cb and thats really good to make our building attack struggle, hard to distribute the ball from cb to midfield not comfort to give the ball to double pivot midfield, and the way they pressing is blocked pass option i just hope, rafa know this problem and how to manage this
  5. i think this is really great to read not just bring back emotion but to know in depth, behind the moment and little from backroom too what is in player mind and mental state in the pre and post game, from the napoli 2nd leg the up and down mentality during the match, ,how the player try what they can do and to keep believing player emotion when lifting trophy and what that meant for the player
  6. i agree, but i think better say this ramires and mikel is good off the ball, mikel on shielding & covering and ramires pace & running but both are bad when got the ball lack of vision, lack of pass technically and yes, they causes the trio needs to always drop deep to collect the ball need another and better player on passing skill to feeding the ball and build up attack from deep position
  7. what ive been really questioning is Torres movement he is really poor, terrible, awful in WBA match but why his movement is like that ?? he always drop deep, moving deeper almost never runs forward, and not move active to find space to annoy, distract, or make defender busy that is terrible thing as a striker he often not threathning at all is it RDM instruction to make he often move deeper or is torres stupidity because with that, you hardly get the space, get the space to do something on the ball you hardly to get a chances to score (even his finishing in doubtfull too recently) ???
  8. the big point from today not his finishing, not his link up play but his movement his movement today in WBA game was really really awful and again as as striker, he didnt threathning at all when sturrdige play striker role, he shows torres movement was absolute crap  sturridge want to active to move to get and find the space, running forward when torres play as striker before, nothing at all like that he just like stand in his position, getting crowded and anonymous pathetic and terrible and iam wondering, why torres movement like that so often ??? torres really often just move deeper and rarely runs forward anymore is it really RDM instruction or torres abysimal ??
  9. Mikel isnt bad, mikel not the problem if he pair with player who have mobility and pace Team will face problem and Mikel will be average shit when the team want to play possesion If mikel get pair with Lampard I hope RDM doesnt try that again, lampard-mikel Because that pairing is looks the worst combination for our double pivot Meanwhile mikel-ramires, ramires-lampard, mikel-romeu, ramires-romeu is looks much better
  10. so because we will face their strong midfield i hope it makes RDM to really push our player not just double pivot to discipline but for attacking player behind torres to highly improve their work on defence, to trackback, closing down the space to force their passing option if not maybe we just get outplayed and they bossed the midifield
  11. thats right, double pivot cant fiil with two defensive midfield with two midfield cant distributed the ball and help attacking and too defensive minded it still will be struggling against good and organise defence, that would be horrible prime example, just look netherland in euro their frontline is fill with all attacking minded player, good quality and technicall actually (not like us which still use 'wrong' player to attack) but what happen, with their bad display from their double pivot it makes a whole team doesnt work well their team static, look like separated in their attacking-defence opponent more easy to closing space and predicted how they try to attacking and how you can still thinking RDM decision on our double pivot, is still right the problem is we didnt have mobility and pace in midfield if the double pivot playing badly which is this area is really vital aspect in 4-2-3-1 formation it makes a whole team playing bad, even horrible and makes it much worse with another problem/wrong decision by RDM yes, you rightlampard didnt cost us goal conceded but, you are not blind isnt, you see it against milan, psg, even against wigan midfield with lampard and mikel so far in double pivot against good midfield, when our midfield get pressure our midfiled very struggling and become non existent so something wrong in our double pivot, isnt it not just simlpy because ofform and that would be madness, if RDM still keep doing that, or not find the way to highly improved
  12. so true, why you dont just make it in english too ( or anybody would make a proper translate ? ) someone in here would be like to read your in depth analysis
  13. the problem in my opinion, not because how mikel passingin contrary i think the problem, is because lampard have to bombing forward because he doesnt have legs anymore is bad and not effective because he doesnt get forward in exact time like before and hard to get back in time it cost us in 2 aspect, when he help attacking isnt effecctive and for defensive , his tracking back is slow and his movement for covering is not good either for mikel, i think mikel still can be good personel to our system, but if him not pair with lampard and lampard in double pivot there actually can be not really bad, better maybe if lampard not have pair with mikel, but with player who have more mobility to covering more space is more because as a player lampard and mikel have good quality, but their pace and mobility is so wrong as a partner if team want not just to play deep and sit back
  14. no, not romeuactually, nobody in this team, can be as the solution for the player who can play great in double pivot but, atleast, RDM must try different, must change his team selection, and improve vital aspect in our system he should not make lampard again, again, and again trying to take a role in double pivot iam sick to watch that not just about lampard himself but that is really cost our system, because that aspect is our engine as instant solution? no player in our team but my point, the different player, even still bad in some aspect for play in double pivot there some posibility to learn and develop by time than just playing lampard there too often just tell him to ? if that so, it same case with torres, ramires, bertrand who play useless we can assume they play just like RDM instruction but the problem is what RDM think can work , that doesnt work and he doesnt make a change for that, or too long
  15. This is good article to read, good analysis actually just hope RDM realise it too, not stubborn and delusional and then make a change in so many problem and wrong aspect in our team After the 0-0 draw with QPR, many question have been raised by Chelsea fans concerning the personnel in our starting line up. Robbie has strangely been playing players in their wrong positions. The most notable examples of this are Ryan Bertrand a left back on the left wing, Ramires a central midfielder on the right wing and Frank Lampard an attacking midfielder in defensive midfield. This is a very strange decision in light of the fact that the club spent nearly £80m in the summer on players who can play in the 3 attacking midfield positions. Now there is absolutely no doubting RDM's ability as a motivator, he is top class at what he does, however his team selections leave a lot to be desired. Our main problem is retaining possession and moving the ball quickly, we need to find a solution to this problem and this is what i have come up with. In any formation, there is always an extremely important part of the system that needs to be functioning perfectly in order for the team to be at its best. It always used to be our striker, in days past we would hit Drogba and it would stick, then we would progress from there. We now have Torres and have switched to a 4-2-3-1 passing system from deep. The vital cog of the 4-2-3-1 formation is the two central defensive midfielders. These players are of supreme importance to the success of the system. The image on the right (above) is a diagram of what the formation looks like when we are in complete control of the ball. The full backs push up The centre backs are near the halfway line The central defensive midfielders are 10-15 yards in the oppositions half The 2 wide attacking players are near the corners of the box The central attacking midfielder is roaming freely trying finding space throughout the centre. The red lines are the passing options for the central defensive midfielders, as you can see they are at the heart of everything and have every player in blue within their passing range. In order to play this position effectively, both of them MUST remain behind the ball. When we have possession, they are there to set the tempo of the game and recycle the ball to keep the game ticking over at a fast pace. They need to be making fast and sharp 1 or 2 touch passes, less is definitely more here. The attacking players cannot function properly unless they get the ball quickly, the quicker they receive the ball, the more space they have to work their magic. The defensive midfielders should never be making runs in advance of the ball and should be moving horizontally across the pitch simply creating angles in order to give and receive passes. It is imperative that these two players are always available to receive a pass and recycle the possession. in my opinion Lampard is not the problem, he still QUALITY player even without good pace and mobility but the problem is RDM mind what delusional he had, why he still place and give lampard in wrong position, wrong deskjob, wrong role to play there these below is just mention the reason This is where the Frank Lampard discussion comes in. When Frank plays in the defensive midfield position he is constantly making runs in advance of the ball, he ends up sitting in between the striker and the central attacking midfielder in search for goals and his double figure tally. He simply doesn’t have the discipline for this role. This causes 3 main problems for the team; 1. There is one less option in the centre of the park for us to keep the possession, instead of always being available and helping the team keep the ball, he is actually a hindrance to the team because he turns the formation into an extremely unbalanced 4-1-3-1-1. He leaves Mikel on his own which significantly reduces passing options from the middle as he will only have angles on for half of the passes (either to the right or to the left). 2. His advanced runs close off all the space that our free role player has to work with because he will bring a marker with him. That is 2 more players in the small intricate space that Mata/Hazard have to operate in. This essentially nullifies our attack. 3. This leads to the play being broken up and the opposition going on the counter attack. Lampard is now so far forward that there is a gaping hole through the middle which Mikel has to attempt to fill and we get exploited. Re-watch the Atletico Madrid game (painful I know) and you will see exactly what I mean. Ivanovic also wasn’t fast enough to get back to defend the counter attack, although that is another story. from http://www.chelseada...frank_8422.html and I give more problem in my opinion Our attacking front REALLY need more hardwork when comes to defend and more fluid not static Our mentality and determination is so lacking Our passing is pathetic and slow ( actually this mention above ) and with poor movement too a complete lack of mobility in midfield, just because the combination, as a partnership lampard and mikel is have good quality, but their pace and mobility is so wrong as a partner in very important aspect to our succes or atleast to show good football in this 4-2-3-1 formation but, i still believe in RDM, he needs time i hope he will learn but he MUST adrees our ultimate problem and absloutley must change, improve and fix so many things but if he doenst make some change, and if he doenst want fucked up he must drop and switch to another formation any thoughts ?
  16. no, not rid them the concern is not about their current quality and capabilities lampard still good in some aspect JT character, game reading, and organisation on defending still world class but if you want play more fluid football, you should change them, atleast not too often starting XI ( obviously, lampard not in double pivot) because their not anymore can offer mobility, movement, and pace but some really really well said there There are more serious issues, however, which are not quite so easily solved – one of which was hinted at in the Blues’ early Premier League encounters but laid bare for all of Europe to see by a confident and well-drilled Atletico side: a complete lack of mobility in the midfield. As a partnership, Frank Lampard and Jon Obi Mikel have many qualities, but pace is not among them. Once they took the lead, this was something Atletico exploited superbly,... Lampard possesses the technical quality to do this, but he lacks the pace and dynamism to run a midfield from a deep-lying position next to a destroyer such as Mikel. Atletico knew this and used it to their advantage. Better teams in bigger matches will surely do the same.
  17. we complain and frustated, not just about result, for god sake!! but about, what RDM looks to refusal our problem not change, not improving - double pivot system - how attacking front should played, not static and more workhard in transition - team selection just like this post said actually
  18. good post actuallybut thats can be mean mikel should be use just for certain situation & specific tactic not playing regular the task to kind of standing in some area to help cover opposition to prevent player get pass but thats, what i meant to sometimes he just like there to fill posistion he still not really good to covering the space when he supposed to be more mobile, more hardwork and better in movement when he come out, not stay deep to sit back he not really good in movement and to marking the opposition midfield what mikel can offer is calm and disclipined ( like he showed in ucl, with the double pivot system to more sit back) but for me he not rarely miss focused and not intelligent enough and in double pivot system with lampard lamps mobility is not good enough and pairing with mikel ? the system in midfield is hardly to work because one is old and another is can be really hopeless for me that pairing is can be our big problem for this season because that elemetn is engine to the team
  19. and mikel show in wigan game what he doing for the whole match ?? nothing meaningfull, for god sake - he is slow - hardly to make meaningfull pass yes, we need midfielder play some safety pass, sometimes BUT in mikel, what all i saw is he just can't he didnt have skill and quick thought what he can to do with the ball, than just pass it to CB or simple sideway pass and sometimes his passing is as badly as meireles if meireles pass is sloppy and too rush mikel passing is, sometimes looks hesitate and wrong decision - mikel isnt player who can pressing opponent - he can't marking opposition player movement - sometimes he looks not even can covering the space/area in midfield, becasue his mobility very lacking he like just there to fill position
  20. so fucking truelampard, mikel, meireles, essien for double pivot is our huge problem so far how their movement and passing was awful, all of them RDM absolutely need to fix that aspect
  21. almost like AVB right ?even AVB still better in juli-desember, more passion and will why our midfield is so no intention on passing, horrible
  22. maybe somebody say, theres no execuse to blabla and yeah, right now we have that with mereiles, mikel, lampard all play together in the game and how shit our play now need low expectation
  23. but just in my opinionmalouda can give little more physical presence than bena who physically similliar with kind of marin, ramires, mata and we need that stronger body upfront for certain situation for work rate, i agree but i think on the flank malouda have good understanding and combination with ashley cole not just in attack, but for defence too and for passing, yes, he is average even awful sometimes mostly when he is in the mid but when he cross from wide , i think he still can manage good crossing
  24. i agree, just if ,he can be more work hard, more determination to fight the ball, he can turn out to be great DMbut without that, in some matches he can be really poor dm and in my opinion, unless we not playing counter attacking football, not seldom our problem with mikel is when we attacking, his distribution is not really good , he just make simple pass, although is still good for certain situation but his pass often too slow, and make the build up play become much slower it makes, no matter we have a bunch good talent and technicall player on attacking, but if the build up is slow the same stories is still like the old time, we will hard / really struggle to break the opposition defence and when we lost the ball , then get counter attacked by opposition ( not just in counter but also when the opponent play good pass combination in our midfield ) not a few times we show mikel is the wrong one he failed to trackback properly and covering the open space because his slow and the movement not really good too, when he need to move faster for covering the position
  25. for my opinion too our choice to fill mikel spot, is still big problem mikel i dont know, just hopefully he can make big improve form what he shown in preseason, but if just so so or just similiar that kind of performance absolutely not enough for the team not just pasive, and lacking of good or quicker pass from him but his movement too slow to covering the midfield and its so awful to watch for me, even essien is not that great just like he was, just decent display but he is the best for mikel spot, can show he playing a lot better than mikel more stronger, more quicker, better movement he still the best choice than slow mikel and romeu ( if you hard to give trust to romeu who still kind of little unexperience) still hope actually, board make addition to fill that spot with the player of group of 25-29 age if not, our best hope is just essien to hopefully still can getting better and absolutely mikel, must miles better than pre season form because that double pivot is look too vital in what kind of playing football rdm wants to play
