Every top laliga team press, have lots of dribblers in the starting line-up and have technical midfilders that can hold the ball under pressure. I hope we adopt this trend of their pressing and stop fielding players who are either not technically sound or not mobile. Both traits are required especially technical aspect.

He needs to practice his passing and develop his vision. He has costa and pedro on the other wing who makes runs, he needs to put through passes to him like messi does for Neymar. It just feels like if his dribbling isn't working, he has nothing else to offer in attack which isn't true. His technique is too good for this.

When Mourinho said he'll trust our players who won the title last season during the summer, I never knew he'll take it so far to the detriment of the team. Tbh Ivanovic is not our only problem, but our team's biggest problem is the number of goals we are conceding and Ivanovic is the huge source. Jose just needs to go back to being unpredictable. I know every move he'll make, I know the starting line-up, I know the type of subs he'll make when he's losing (Falcao on), I know the pattern of attacking his team will play(slow passing in the middle with ivanovic crossing aimlessly), and recently people now know his weak side in the defense. He's making it too easy for everyone to prepare for him. He needs that unpredictable aura about him he used to have in his first spell. The surprising subs, the different tactics against different opponents, taking out underperfoming players even in the first half. And he needs to let our fullbacks provide width and stop being so narrow, deliver balls to costa from midfield (like pogba to mandzukic today, I don't know why fabregas stopped doing this, he's turning into mikel with all this sideway passing) and more passing interplay from wings and we'll score more.

Excellent analysis on how terrible our teamwork has been. Like the players are lazing about and don't care to watch each others backs. The number of times Matic or Terry are left alone without any teammates in sight is so unlike Mourinho. We don't press and defend together as a team, it's too disjointed.
