Sanchez isn't a better player than hazard. But when you watch him play, you can tell he's giving his all and playing to his limits and potential. But hazard is casual and takes things easy sometimes.

Hazard in his prime is the better player, but hazard is just not as hardworking as Sanchez. Sanchez does better defensive work than hazard and still goes to score more goals without penalties than hazard. I've said before that Hazard can never be world best because of his attitude of being too relaxed and not showing enough desire consistently, the fact he came this season fat again like previous seasons is testament to that fact.

You might be onto something there, RLC is the closest thing we have to ballack. Fabregas needs to create chances for Costa. The rest of our attacking players are poor finishers

Matic needs to practice more on his right foot. His weakness is he's one footed and playing in the midfield, (rare to find one footed DMs) I watch him and see how people block his leftside and force him to go towards his weaker right foot and he finds it hard to make those dribbling runs he did when he came newly. He should also stop being dragged to the wings. Fabregas isn't making it easier for him though

I thought he'll park the bus and make us keep clean sheets and grind out resultssince he's a pro at this, but he's not doing this for some reason. If Mourinho made the team practice more team attacking movements since he came, the players would have known what to do when Mourinho's motivational speech isn't working. But instead we're stuck with waiting for Hazard and Costa to come to form before we can score goals from open play in the league

I'm in this camp, it's been a long time since I felt this concerned. Ivanovic will start and mane will obviously target him, we can't keep a clean sheet to save our life, we can't press, basic things we used to be known for are gone.

Exactly. I seriously advocated for improvement on the current players we have, because last season we had hunger to win the league, we had drogba who motivated hazard and co saying it's been too long since we won a major trophy. But no one anticipated that so many of our players would individually be so poor this season. Look at how slow jt and Iva have become, look at Matic struggling to get successful tackles, look at fabregas mobility, look at hazard forgetting how to dribble, Oscar not fit, costa technically poor and all this happened at the same time.
