What I was trying to say is. Hazard is humble, lukaku is arrogant. Being arrogant is fun when you back it up on the pitch like zlatan. He has no right to make a statement saying he'll leave to a bigger club when your current club broke their transfer record for you 6months ago
-
Once someone is humble, he's humble. He's always been an arrogant person and Mourinho likes people who will be loyal to the team cause. You won't see hazard make statements like this right from lille.

Get innn!!!!!! Fantastic news

Exactly. Compared to costa, Remy looked a bit lazy in making runs and pressing after we lose possession.
-
Once he plays together with Costa and fabregas, his understanding with the team should double

Speedy Zouma Kurt Zouma's top speed against Everton was clocked at 34.13km/h making him the fastest man on the pitch

You just decided to score some points during the goal celebration huh

What I meant to say is oscar can create better than Willian. Maybe if willian changes to the middle he'll be better. We know they're not silva/Mata in that category
-
This. If I had a magic wand, I'll buy isco to replace oscar as that is my ideal Am. But until that level of quality is available we can't throw away our third highest goals contributer. The thing with ericksen and coutinho is that they fall under the AMs that are terrible under pressure. Ericksen will practically kick the ball away if he is chased. But quality like modric, thiago and isco are on another level because they can escape by dribbling easily or use their bodies to win a foul (Busquets way) rather than cheaply losing the ball. This is the type of quality I'll gladly throw oscar under the bus for, because they have better vision and are better under pressure. But they are few and rare.
-
His finishing is almost world class already imo. He has strength and knows how to hold the ball under pressure. And he's already good at making runs behind the defence. With this natural qualities, technique, passing, shooting from outside the box and awareness, it's hard to see him drop down imo. This is looking like another rooney in the making.

Jordan Ibe will be better than sterling if given time.... There I said it
-
Yea most of the good plays actually came when he moved centrally during the match. I'll love to see him play centrally during the big games because he's better at holding balls under pressure from better defenders and midfielders in big teams than oscar. But oscar still gets the smaller games due to creativity.

Done well recently all of a sudden -Scoring opener vs Watford -Setting up opener vs Newcastle with his quick/short corner -Pivotal in setting up the only two goals against Swansea that werent basically Swan OG's, whilst he was on the pitch. Including an amazing solo-run and curving throughball for the 4th. -Assisted game winner vs Liverpool -MOTM, atleast in my mind, vs Aston Villa with an assist for the opener Hope he keeps this up.
-
It has got to the point where the fans are now suspecting its vangaal tactics. No manutd player is playing well except Fellaini
-
Fair enough. There could be better quality, but I don't think anyone is available/realistic now
-
Exactly. He's not perfect but unless there is absolute quality available there's no point in throwing away our 4th goal contributer. His overall performance mostly has to do with an attitude of Oscar to not know how to pass a ball for 45mins in some matches once in a while but he's one of our top scorers and he's found a way to score while playing bad, which is a good trait.
-
Oscar is annoyingly inconsistent in his passing but he's still important in our pressing style. Tbh if someone like isco, Koke or reus available in the summer then we have a case to get rid of Oscar, but it's not easy to find available players that have his workrate and still have good vision too.
-
He won't play well in cm in my opinion. But with his pressing and tackling style of play, he would be even better if he was stronger physically.
-
Anyone who says we should sell him is wrong. He's still 23, plenty of time to improve especially as midfielders tend to get better later in their careers. But we know his weakness and his strengths so far and because of his poor 2nd half to the season last year people are scared it's happening again.
-
I think oscar plays better when another creator of chances is playing with him. When the onus is on oscar to create, (no fabregas or Mata to take the creative burden) he normally disappoints. This is because his best talent is tackling no matter how we try to beat around the bush. His job is to win the ball for the creative midfielders to create. Luckily for him pressing is a huge part of Mourinho's tactics so he'll always have a place here but I think he should play on the wings and hazard to the center when fabregas isn't playing because he disappoints if he's asked to be the creative player. One good thing he's added to his game though is score or assist when playing shit. But his overall performance in a match has to improve, too much 4/10 performances.
-
I'm sure it might even improve his dribbling if he plays from the center. He can go either way instead of only to his right and he's strong enough to hold his ball under pressure compared to Oscar who passes it to no body everytime
