The problem with willian is I'm not sure his goal tally would improve up to Oscars level. Still think he's not as creative as oscar considering his goal/assists contribution, maybe its because he prefers being in the middle though.

Big teams press us more, Oscar is the worst of our attacking midfielders under pressure. He clearly suffers and ends up losing the ball a lot under pressure. Maybe he can improve, he's still has years ahead of him, comparing how Carzola could control the ball under city pressure and oscar in big matches you see a huge difference. Hopefully cuadrado is better than him in tight spaces and under pressure.

He was patient, waited for his chance and like azpi, he's seeing the rewards. I think this character and attitude is what Mourinho wants from his players the most.

I think he finds it hard to play in big games because he's terrible at keeping the ball under pressure. He'll give a clumsy pass everytime in that situation. At least willian, hazard and cuadrado would dribble out of tight situations but oscar can't. So big teams that don't give space hurts him

He has a history of getting injured during the 2nd half of seasons. Rather he missed this game than risk missing him against the smaller sides we need points against.

His passing and vision is better than oscar, its not even close in that aspect. He would have needed to play behind the striker for us with freedom to roam which Mourinho does not give.

We can always find balance with two dribblers. We had robben and Duff in our team and it paid off. Bayern have robben and ribery Madrid have ronaldo and Bale Barca have Neymar and Messi Manutd prime had ronaldo and nani Arsenal prime had henry and overmars. Two dribblers on both flanks give the dribbling player more chances to be in one on one situations with defenders. Less double marking of Hazard if there's a viable threat on the other side.

I see his signing like the dimaria signing Mourinho made for Madrid. Underrated, not afraid to try to dribble, when it doesn't come off he looks like hazard first leg against Liverpool but when it does he looks like hazard against arsenal.He has the most dribbles and most fouls won in Italy just like hazard is in England here so that's a positive similarity.
