He said oscar has the qualities he wants in his no. 10 good pressing and creativity and he also said mata is a fantasic and clever player. How and when did he compare?

I understand how you can say oscar hazard kdb schurrle are experienced but comparing them to willian, lampard, mata, eto,o, torres e.t.c. they are not that experienced exactly why mourinho calls them his kids. One always have to play as you said but the last match three played(hazard,oscar,schurrle) and the match before three also played(hazard,oscar,vanginkel) That's what you say but mourinho actually said differently even before the basel game he said he will offer the chance to some players to have experience at this level, for me that meant the younger players like vanginkel and co. who have less experience comparatively and Ba who is new to champions league. He is giving younger players who perform well or better a chance, what he does is on merit probably in training and on the pitch. For example Oscar and or schurrle would be benched if they weren't playing better than a more experienced mata or willian at the moment, same way vanginkel and essien is benched because they are not better at the moment than lamps, ramires or mikel and if they will surely be playing more regularly.

Played better in the second half as did most of our team but he needs to start scoring/creating goals because willian looks a serious threat.

To be a chelsea first team player you obviously have to be of the quality to represent your national side but again you don't know much mourinho does and said oscar will be his no. 10 part of the reason he gave is that oscar plays as a no.10 for the most prestigious national team in football and with also a team with the most talented No.10's Secondly I said to show bias in favor of mata will only be credible if the oscar/jose project fail by dec/jan that's not hard to understand is it as so far it isn't a failure. It is definitely not about oscars development alone but i use oscar to represent the younger players you also have van ginkel, kdb, schurrle and co. If any of them plays better or is in more form than an older experienced player I expect them to be picked just like oscar over mata. I can't always write everything in detail else I write a book.

If you are going to highlight my post highlight all of it and not incomplete sentences that give a different meaning to the whole picture i present to prove your bias towards another player else you may kindly re-write your own opinion it is allowed.

Anyhow i look at it i see more points for oscar than mata. Mata has had 2 individually brilliant seasons as our no. 10.(In which our team performed poorly in the league) Which is not even his natural position in spain and seasons we came 5th(65points) and 3rd(75points) respectively, Oscar on the other hand is just having his first season as our no.10 which is his natural position in brasil. If you really care about our team and not only mata then you may only start slagging moirinho or oscar if things are going bad in december/january. It is unfortunate that instead of praising oscar's development we are putting more unwarranted pressure on the kid by demanding an automatic place for mata despite his poor form yet we say chelsea destroys young players never giving them a chance well oscar is a kid and has been given a chance by mourinho who is criticised for not playing young players, now that he does people still criticise him.

I feel this egg is about to hatch finally, in january i will judge him and see if he deserves to move up a notch in my list of favourite players in world football.

Going by your logic of statistics Ozil is better than fabregas, iniesta, ronaldinho and zidane. Is play making only about goals and assists? I don't think so as it also involves ball distribution, keeping a good midfield shape by filling up spaces, orchestrating the tempo in midfield, abilities which oscar has and mata doesn't. People talk like oscar doesn't get goals or assists he actually does and if hazard, our wingers and strikers start scoring enough we would be a far better team than depending on mata who isn't even world class and despite his high potency in final third our strikers still don't score enough goals. A no. 10 is usually a midfielder something mata has never been in his life hence our inability to dominate big games, mata's creativity is only in the final third but oscar's creativity starts deep from midfield with his intelligence, interplay and movement (midfield orchestration which he is still developing) as well as the final third and may be that is why oscar doesn't get as much goals as mata who plays no. 10 only like a forward rather than a midfielder. What oscar does in midfield can lead to a lot of positive things than mata can ever bring into our team if we really want to play expansive football rather than direct football which suites mata more.Bottom line Oscar brings so much more to our team than mata ever will and still be creative enough

For me Mata has never been a no. 10, before his chelsea career he was either a winger or a forward but out of necessity due to the fact that we had no other player in mata's first season and no well adapted player last season to play in that position he made it his own with some very excellent performances in giving assists and scoring goals which i feel he can still offer in wide positions without taking anything out of his game unlike oscar who is a midfielder and definitely not suited in the wings despite doing well in a period of adaptation as a winger for chelsea. Not physical/strong Poor work rate Poor defensive duties(in open play and set pieces) Does not suit expansive football(which is what mourinho wants) because he easily burns out or lack of energy needed for expansive game. A very good player but not world class - you don't expect him to perform against bayern or barca or brasil(if you like) the best teams in the world Oscar Pros Goals Assists Work rate Defensively sound(open play and from set piece) A better dribbler Switches play(involves others) Currently the best no. 10 suited for expansive football(which is what mourinho wants) World class potential - can perform at any stage against any team. Hazard,oscar,schurrle,kdb are all internationals and willian who isn't is just as good as the others that's how tough it is for not only mata but for the six of them. Oscar who is his most likely competitor plays no. 10 for the most prestigious national team in world football. I admire your concern but with players like moses and lukaku on loan i am definitely sure chelsea want to play fantasy football this season therefore mata has no luxury in this fantastic squad.

If we can give torres over 2 years to prove himself at chelsea then we should have faith in mourinho, eto'o,willian,Kdb, and schurrle(who are still unproven at chelsea) at least until january just like we did AVB and RDM if by then we are still shit then we can really complain. But if we sack a coach of Mou's caliber this early as some plastic's are suggesting do you think any classy coach will want to come to chelsea? Moreover it seems only Roberto Mancini is available for now so its not even worth thinking about. Chelsea team has always been complicated and that's why i'am happy that coaches like pep guardiola never came to chelsea because he can only excel with the very best of players so he might have been embarrassed out of chelsea. Mourinho is certainly the right man for the job he has the CV, experience and most importantly the personality to put a very strong and long lasting chelsea team which he has done before. I see our current squad as very much like the porto side mourinho mentored to champions league glory because of the technical similarities in players like Deco, carlos alberto, benny mccarthy for porto and mata,oscar,willian,Eto'o however I feel this chelsea squad is much stronger offensively having other players like hazard,Kdb,schurrle compared to his porto side, therefore i have no doubt that mourinho has managed this sort of team before and i know that once he gets going with the team we will be unbelievable. I have decided to fold my hands and be patient until January where i can analyse better but december should be a modest time for those without patience. I do not trust mourinho, because he is human but i definitely believe in his abilities and love for chelseafc and that's sufficient enough for me to risk one whole season for him to succeed as long as his intentions are the same. If not Mou then who else?

This time I'd rather blame the service to him or the lack of it. Can't go on blaming our strikers forever. His movement was superb and unlike torres has always been better compared to the opposition striker in his two games so far so i think its the service that is lacking.
