Dude, stop with the bs of "firing" some of the players. Do you even know how unintelligent that sounds?
-
Pay attention to what I am saying, the same people claiming for Simeone will be the first to moan about us not playing attractive football...
-
I dont see how so many think Simeone would be the best option. The way he sees football is very similar to Mourinho. I think we need a more flair manager right now.
-
Holly shit, I am cracking up here with the metaphores you guys wrote! But to go back to the topic: I can write a lengthy month review. Just like Chelsea Brasil does. I dont need to get payed. Let me know if u find it a good idea...
-
Lmao you are so hilarious. Sometimes I feel you are Leif in disguise. LOOOOL! First, you are jumping to absurdly dumb conclusions. Who said players and football department employees were giving a pass? Thats stupid. However, sacking a manager in December is possible, getting rid of players or signing new ones isnt. So Roman did what was possible. Yes, thet backed the manager AT THAT TIME, but with things actually getting worse after 2 months, maybe the Russian decided Jose wouldn't continue. So beter to sack him now than to let him have a transfer window to spend more money on players the club and the new manager might not want. Seriously, all you want is to complain like a whiny baby. Its what you do. Until yesterday you were trashing Jose and asking for his head. Now that he is sackedyou are complaining it wasnt at your prefered time. Pathetic!
-
I feel the same way!
-
Because things change in 2 months. Honestly, its not so hard to grasp.
-
Its simple. They didnt want Mourinho going forward so why let him have a transfer window where the players he will want to sign might not be what the next manager wants?
-
Well, big kuddos to Jose. Made a lot of people in here eat their words in regards to his sack fee...
-
Honestly, if Mourinho thinks that his post match comments are what will make the players react differently, he is the most unprepared and naive coach of the century.
-
Dude I quote whoever I want and I will continue to quote you if I feel like you made points I disagree with. If you dont want to reply or put me on ignore list, I couldnt care less. Benitez arrived with ab entire squad, media and fan base upset Ancelotti was sacked. He has 0 chance of succeeding at Real if from day one he is already hated by everyone. Also, he had 0 saying in this last transfer window so he is playing with a squad that was built by an egocentric president. So, in resume, Benitez hasnt been allowed to prove anything in the absurdly short 5 months he is in Madrid. Now, if you look at Jose Mourinho. He has been with us for almost 3 years already. He promise the world to us and what was delivered (until now) was 6 months of good football and no signs of a dominant future. Honestly, there is an argument to be made that Jose has only taken us backwards. Oh, and all of this with support across the board I might add, totally different than what is happening at Real.
-
One doesn't excuse the other. Actually, Joses job is really worse than Benitez...

I will show you how your mum has forward thinking... If you are filled up you will take more time eat thus making you need more food overall in your day. Then with this, next time you go buy food might be delayed by a day or two and so on. So, overall you will end up consuming less food (and waisting less). Your mum is more of a genius than you think!
-
You drink it, because tuere are children around the world who would give their life for it.
-
I know what the point was and I agree with it. However, its something that should be done internally. Never externally. You are Roman and you want to calm everyone down? Take your helicopter to Cobham, gather the staff and players and announce Jose is staying for good no matter what and the players dont have to listen to a single bs the media says. There, end of story. Absolutely no need to go public.
-
Honestly, I think Ancelotti would return. However, if he doesnt I would hire an interim manager like we did with Benitez. I dont know any names on top of my head but I bet there are people interested in a position like that on Chelsea. It doesnt have to be a markee name, just someone who will work hard.
-
Sorry but although I agree with the overall premise, Roman/Board dont need to go public to say anything. That only shows weakness. If he is indeed backing Mourinho I hope he already made that clear to everyone. But no, it would be stupid and incredibly weak to realease a SECOND official statement backing the manager.

That is quite a one sided view dont you think? First of all, people love to say that players dont give a shit when they dont perform. Its one of the biggest mistakes football fans make. If one is playing well he automatically loves the club and so on. However, if he is playing poorly in a team that isnt winning, he doesnt care and so on. This is one gigantic bullshit. I cringe with all the posts people make regarding this subject. Players are professional and they NEVER play to lose, thats ridiculous. Second of all, we would be sacking a manager who isnt showing any signs of being the best in the world. Sorry, but one shouldnt keep his job solely based on what one did almost a decade ago. That is what Arsenal has do e and look how successful they have been. The present is what should matter and in 3 years Jose has only been able to make Chelsea play excellent football for 6 months. Sorry but that is not what I would expect from "the best manager in the world". Lastly, people have to stop thinking this is a war between Jose vs Players and stop picking "sides". This is Chelsea FC. Not Jose FC and not Players FC. Everyone wins and everyone loses. If we lose because of tactics, thats oN EVERYONE. If we lose because players didnt seem motivated, thats on EVERYONE. Just like last League Title was on EVERYONE.

Hahahaha dude, this is a niche internet forum. I didnt "call you out", omg that was hilarious. You dont need to get all worked out because of it. I said something and then you started tackling and counter arguing things I didnt even say. It is like you took a little minor sentence of my argument and made a whole quote about it. No real problem in that really, but I am past the point of trying to debate here on TC so that is what I said on my response. Back in the day I would reply with long posts regarding my point of view and so on. But right now I am tired of doing this over and over again. And like I said, it isnt anything to do with you in particular.
-
That is absurdly improbable. At this time, I doubt Roman will sack Jose before a January transfer window. He will probably receive the Ancelotti treatment: spend whatever you want in January but if you don't make things work at the end of the season you are gone.
-
The problem I have with Jose Mourinho is not even his public comments because I bet not even he believes the bullshit he says. Its all part of the show. However, I simply dont see signs of improvement or at least an effort to change. Its not like Mourinho is trying different formations, different lineups, different aproaches and nothing is working. He is purely putting the same team with the exact same formation and mentality week in, week out. There is zero indication of him actually trying to improve things. 4-2-3-1 isnt working, Ivanovic/Fabregas/Costa arent performing, defence is in shambles, etc. Yet, he repeats the same mistakes again and again. Honestly, if he is still as good as he says, he would have done something by now. If we dont have the players we need in order to play attractive football, go with a defensive 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 and play some god damm youth. It may be the only opportunity Chelsea will have to actually give young faces playing time. Also...Park the bus and let opponents make mistake and go for 1-0 wins. Its not like we'd make top4 playing like that but at least we would be far away from relegation zone. I am absolutely pissed. Its not about losing, I am accustomed to lose (being a Palmeiras fan for so long). But its the total lack of effort from everyone involved, specifically Jose.
-
Sorry but you always tackle weird points in peoples arguments. You wrote all of this and none of it was about the main point of my argument. But w/e, if you didnt understand theres nothing I can do. Nothing against you, but I am over with properly debating on TC. I am past the point when I would actually engage on conversations and try to properly explain my point of view.
-
Sorry but this is the same lies English fans tell themselves over and over again and that is simply not true. Having an easier ride in the League does indeed help big clubs in Europe. That statement of "no real test" to prepare therefore bad performance when it counts hasnt been proven right at all. Just look at how well clubs with easier schedules have done in UCL compared to English sides. I will repeat it for the hundredth time, the harder the EPL gets, the worse teams will do in the Champions League. Managers have been quite vocal about this in the past couple of years and its true. It isnt because they are cry babies or anything...

PSG for the thrid straight time? WtF?

Sao Paulo doesnt own him, Corinthians does. Pato arrived to Corinthians 2,5 years ago from Milan as the biggest transfer in Brazilian history (a little more than 10 million euros at the time) but he didnt fit their manager's system and he was always accused of being lazy or not caring enough. In resume, he floped there. So, to offload his astronomical wages, Corinthians loaned him to Sao Paulo and there he found his great form back and hosnestly has been playing really well. The thing is, Pato is now back to his former team and neither are happy about it. Corinthians doesnt want Pato and he doesnt want to stay as well. The problem (for Corinthians) is that no one in Brazil can afford Alexandre's wages and his contract ends in late 2016. So Corinthians wants to sell Pato asap. At least to recover the ridiculous investment they made. In my opinion, any European team (even a mid table team) that is willing to pay around 8 million Euros would easily be able to sign Pato... EDIT: Now, I will repeat myself, Pato is NOT a striker. He hasnt played in that position for years. He is for like a second forward or even an advanced winger, whoever you want to look at it.
