Thats really not true... People look to Barcelona as if they were a great team when he first arrived. In 2008 Barcelona had won zero trophies in their past 2 seasons and they had just dusbanded that Ronaldinho team. So, not only he built the team from "scratch", but he also made them play possession football after a long time. Until this day you see a lot of his influence even 3 years after he has left. A bit like Jose here tbh, even after he left you could see his influence throghout the team... Now, with Bayern there is nothing to analyze. Any single manager in Bayern would still win the league at ease. But in his defence, when he accepted the job they hadnt won the treble yet, they were still that broken team that had lost to us on their own stadium. So its not like he chose them because they had won everything and his job would be easy!

Exactly. Jose deserves a lot of criticism and I wouldnt blame the board if they sack him, but this guy gave us 3 fucking league titles! People take titles so lightly. All spoiled imo...As a Palmeiras fan, I have come to appreciate winning a title way more than most of this generation honestly. People undermine how a solid and well positioned defence can also improve attacking players immensely. Omg this forum is worse by the day! At the time KdB was in our squad we had Oscar and Mata ahead of him and there are only a certain number of AMs one team can play. Mata had just come off two player of the season awards and if you remember Oscar was by far our best player in 2013-14. So it would just be natural for Jose to play Mata, Oscar and Hazard as our attcking trio. Also, after Mata didnt perform, KDB did very very poorly with the chances he had. At the time no one cried over KDB's sale. Everyone knew he was goos but at the same time no one would even think about trading him over Mata or Oscar! The true issue is not that KDB is having good matches for City. The issue is our own players aren't performing at the level they are suposed to. If Hazard and Oscar were putting up good shows, not a single member would be crying for KDB.

Problem with Liverpool trying to win the league (or any other club outside the typical top4 for that matter) is that not only they have to be able to buy smart (like you said) but they have to pray so that FOUR other teams have a troubled season.Like someone already said...With Dortmund, Klopp only needed Bayern to slip a little in order to start fighting for titles. However, even if he is able to build an excellent Liverpool squad with a middle sized budget (which is hard enough), he would still have to surpass both Manchester teams, Chelsea and Arsenal. Its not easy. Imagine that 3 years from now Liverpool has a great in synced team and goes to make 85 points or w/e. The chance of either ManUtd, City or Chelsea to also have an amazing season and go in to make 90 points or so is not that slim. Its too much competition for Liverpool imo.
