  1. Problem with Leicester is the same with Araenal. They are heavily dependent on a couple of great players and if they either lose form or get injured, the whole team falls apart. Just like a tower of cards...Now, its possible neither of those two unfortunate things happen, but still having 19 games to be played, its unlikely they can keep up.
  2. With Mourinho, without Mourinho, its all the same shit. Its always the rebuilding that never gets finished. Ever since 2011. Its been 4 years, 6 managers and loads of money. Kinda getting pissed off already!
  3. I thought it was nice to have TOPTB back in the forums for the first few days, but now I am getting tired of it already lol
  4. See how much of a whiner you are. That is the second ban you PM with complaints to the Staff and now you post it public for what reason? If you already reached to us, it has already been counted. The staff does what it can. Its impossible to please everyone. At the same time we receive PMs of people saying zolayes shouldn't be banned, there are others who reported him every week. He had 55 warning points. FIFTY FIVE! We gave him pass after pass, but a time would always come when it would be his last chance. I know TC rules have changed a bunch since I signed up, but when I first arrived it used to be 3 warnings and you are out... I know it seems we just sit on our high pedestals strucking the ban/warning hammer, but we do try to listen to both sides before making a decision. From outside looking in it can appear as if we are very tough on our decisions but if you had any idea of how many reports we get, the actual warning by report ratio is absurdly low. I would say for every 10 reports we get only 1 goes to become a warning or something. And that is counting spams. Honestly, if you go by the letter of the "TC Rules", the warning and bans would be much higher. Technically speaking we are anything but tough. We might fail at times, I agree, but we always make the decision we feel it is best for the forums. Independently if we like said member or not. Example: I explictly dont like some members (you included), but if I feel they are right, they are right and end of story. Didnt I assure you the allegations you were using different accounts was ridiculous and you shouldnt worry about it? If I wanted to I could have just thrown you under the bus for some sort of childish vendetta. But I always try to do what is right. PS: I have never given a single warning point btw. Whenever I read a report I feel is justifiable I try to resolve it via PMing both parties. So far, 100% effectiveness. It was always resolved.
  5. Exactly. Honestly, if they wanted more teams have 4 groups but with 5 teams. Its would be way better than expanding to 24 and having half of the games be worthless.
  6. Yeah keep up with that mentality. You are almost ready to become a proper Arsenal fan with it. Keep dreaming their squad has depth. #ArsenalChampionsOfEngland LMAAAAO! So, jokes apart... 1) You honestly belive Walcot and Sanchez are STs, REALLY? In that case we dont need a striker as we have Costa, Remy, Hazard and Pedro right? Oh come on please, give me a break. Giroud int even that good, if they lose him they are screwed. Welbeck is shit and then there is no other option besides playing pkayers out of position. 2) Also, now Wilshere and Ramsey are #10s. Oh God, so much BS on TC nowadays. Holly shit. #FabregasForNumber10 3) None of the defenders you posted I would trust to be anywhere near a starting position. So... 4) We lost Courtois and Begovic can take care of business. Same with Barcelona, ManCity, ManUtd, Real when Casillas was there, etc. People undervalue a lot the importance of a backup keeper. So, this was all to prove that if Arsenal dont improve their squads they will be the new version of the 13-14 Loserpool!
  7. Man, this is the perfect example of a tournament with way too many teams. Geez...
  8. Sanchez plays as a winger and they are loaded at that position. That and CMs. They have many options in those two areas, so even if Wilshere, Ramsey, Sanchez, Walcott, etc, get injured/suspended they can recover. But their options end there. Sorry. If they lose key players on any other position they are done...
  9. Arsenal will not win the League with this squad. Its too thin, many positions where if one player has a serious injury the whole system falls appart. They would have to be extremely lucky and not lose anyone important. Every season you will have injuries somewhere and when you dont have replacements it gets almost impossible to win a long and competitive league like the Premier. Lets say Arsenal loses Giroud, Ozil, Metesaker/Koscielny or Cech for like, 3-4 games. Boom, they will easily drop points in 2 of those or w/e and then ManCity will be right at their tail again. Plus the fact 80% of their players have won fuck all so no experience in the very tense decisive moments. In my opinion, Arsenal will only win the League if they sign a proper ST and a DM. They dont even need to be world class players, they just have to be good enough to be able to produce at the EPL level and stir competition so the Girouds and Flaminis of the world dont feel like they have their starting position granted to them even if they suck balls every other match.
  10. We (Staff) do that, don't worry. Dont listen to what he is saying.
  11. You answered that on your own article. Didn't you posted that Jose is the main man responsible for coaching the team and therefore he should take responsibility for the overall success or failure of it all? So, the same goes for Emenalo and the decisions the Board makes. He is ultimately the one responsible for it all! Anyways, let us not drag on something that wasnt the main focus of the good article you wrote...
  12. Honestly, I dont see Arsenal sustaining a run until May to go and become champions. Probably, no team will be able to distance themselves too much in the top of the table, but I would still put my money on ManCity. Just like in 13-14 when neither Chelsea or Liverpool were good enough to be Champions so City basically grabed it by default. However, if Arsenal does make some key signings in january (mostly a striker and a defensive midfielder), I can see them clinching it. I mean, they will definitely be up there, so with a good transfer window they can get the final push they need. Otherwise I think its going to be like Roger's Liverpool...
  13. Ok, I gave you a like because it is well written and I agree with the overall picture that Jose did indeed deserve the sack and the over booing is not beneficial to the club. 100% agree. But I believe Emenalo deserves a lot of criticism and you are giving him too much of a pass. He has just as much responsability by letting the squad have the holes it does as Mourinho. Actually, ever since he took over we are yet to see a fully balanced and depth squad. Every single window there are issues left undone. Emenalo doesnt deserve to still be in charge. With the amount of money and time he already spent the results should have flourished already...
  14. They have every right to do so and that's why they did and no one stoped them. However, just because someone has the right to do something it doesnt mean it is the right thing to do or that it is productive (like Choulo pointed out).
  15. I will back my staff mate. Arsenal wins!
  16. Honestly, just changing the formation and mindset would help a lot. Then he can slowly build on top of it. If Roman got us a markee ST and a CB we could try to reach for a FA Cup or something. Even if we dont finish top4.
  17. 1. Neither Cesar or Baba fit the type of full backs Simeone usually plays with. 2. You want to go into a new season with Oscar, William and Hazard as our AMs again? Havent they show enough flaws as a unity already? Simeone would NEVER build a midfield with so little physicality, speed and quick passing. It will just not happen, EVER. 3. I dont believe Costa can regain form. Referees hate him, he seems completely uninterested and I dont even know if Simeone would want to work with him again. He is the kinda of manager who utilises a player but isnt afraid to move on to younger prospects. So, with the 2 positions you already pointed out plus a new AM and a ST that would be 4 markee 30m+ signings. Which, honestly, is quite a lot. And then, by this point, even Jose would succeed with 4 bew starting players...
  18. Ok, I get what you are saying but I still disagree and I think the two examples you gave me are really terrible. 1. Mourinho tried to find a LB. Filipe Luis and Baba were signed but both didnt impress him. I dont think Jose really thought Azi as LB and Iva as RB were long term solutions. I am not excusing him for failing to adress it or anything. But its not like he didnt try or thought they were long term solutions. 2. Luis is not even a top defender, he makes too many mistakes. Plus the money was absurd. The true mistake was not signing anyone to replace him. But selling him was excellent business. Just like Simeone didnt hesitate to sell Falcao and then Costa. The difference is he replaced them with the proper personel. Now, again to the Simeone thing. He works best when he has players of strong character and will in his squad. Jist like Didier, JT, Lampard, Cole and Cech were for us in the past decade. However, this squad we have is different. Hazard Fabregas, Zouma, William and Oscar dont have leadership and strong character. They are great players but they arent built to work with a manager on the style of Simeone, Mourinho, Ferguson, etc. It wont work. The only way Simeone would work on Chelsea is if he comes and changes the whole squad. Buuuuuut that is where I questioned you in my previous quote. If we would need to change the majority of our squad for Simeone to come, why didnt we just let Jose keep the job and let him rebuild in the next two windows? So, I honestly think its better to try to find a manager that fits what works with the players that we have rather than to try to create another conflict between those players and a new manager. Thats why I dont want Simeone. I want someone like Bielsa, San Paoli or even Guus if he can do a great job.
  19. Where are all the Klopp suckers now? Its easy to "point out" how much of a difference a manager makes when they beat City. But I want to hear from you now... Not that I think he is a bad manager. I just think a managers early impact is extremely overstated. There isnt such a thing as a new manager arriving in the middle of the season and magically turning everyone into good players. The only scenario where its justifiable sacking a manager in the middle of the season (imo) is if the squad and the coach have fallen appart. Which wasnt the case in Liverpool...
  20. Sorry, you just cant say that. You simply dont know. You are basing all of this because of ONE work of his in Atletico. You cant sit and say Simeone wouldnt be as defensive had he our squad to manage instead of Altetico's. If you looked at our team in 04-07 we also werent nearly as defensive. But that is because we had a killer team. Back then Mourinho wasnt as defensive (just like you are arguing Simeone isnt), but that is because he had a squad to do so. Anyways, what I am trying to say and it is true is that in the first pressure moment Simeone has here in CFC he will turn all defensive. Plus the fact he has a personality very, very similar to Jose and boom...2015 all over again. Sorry if you cant see it but its true. Now, if we change 90% of our squad Simeone might be the perfect Manager but then if we do that I will ask you, what was the point of firing Jose?
  21. Not true at all. You are comparing one of oour most unbalanced teams ever with Atleticos best year in the last couple of decades. Which is neither indicative nor fair in the comparison between the two managers. Mourinho's first squad would tear that Atletico apart...
  22. Stop being such a baby, quit whining. If you dont like TC just go away. Its easier than to post again and again saying how bothered you are.If you are into writing big posts its fine, but dont expect others who quote you to also want to engage in such discussions. Fuck, there was a time I used to post 24/7 and write 1 thousand words quotes. However, this ship has sailed and you cant just assume people are worse members sinply because they dont follow your style of posts. Styles and Henrique are controversial, its just how they are and I agree they are painful to stand at times. But at the same time their contribution to the forums cant be understated. They give material for debate and they dont break the forums rules, which at the end is what determines if they are decent members or not. Its not up to you to decide or to try to influence other members.
  23. Honestly, no one thought Mourinho would fall into this pitch hole. No one! Also, its not like I think Simeone will fail or anyhting. He is a great manager. However, he is VERY similar to Jose Mourinho (in his good old days) and I dont think that's what we need right now. We need someone who focus more on the training aspects of the game and isnt as tough. Carlo would be ideal imo, but if not him I would go for someone with a lesser pedigree yet proven to some degree, like San Paoli or Bielsa.
