Gooooooaaaaalllll 2×2 is the best result for us...

Ok, so here we go... Yes, I do want Leicester to win the league. It would pretty much save ourselves from eternally hearing from Spuds or Arsenal fans. Not to count that City has poured bugillions this window and will still manage to not win anything. However, I think the fairytale is too good to be true. I called Liverpool botling up the title 2 years ago. So, before jumping all over LCFC bandwagon, I am still waiting to see whats going to happen. When there are only 5 or 6 games left to be played, then I will be confident they xan win it

The Simeone overhype train is big with those padawans!
-
Simeone really isnt the kind of manager we need. Like, not even light years close...
-
Look, if everyone is so certain we are going to lose why dont you close the browser, turn off your tv/stream and spare the rest who actually want to support the team...

Holly hell, everyone overreacting to their teeth. OMG! Cant you all realise we arent doing any big money/risk business in January anymore? That doesnt mean we lack ambitious or we arent going for big targets anymore. It just means we are waiting for the right time (aka Summer) instead of overpaying in order to try to save what cant be saved. If we panick buy, people complain. If we dont panic buy people still complain. Get a grip! Also, like some people said, Pato is a very low risk gamble. It is not even close to Quadrado, Torres, Ramires or any other Winter transfer. Its flat out a gamble with potential big return but low money loss if it fails. He wont be worse than Remy or Falcao or Oscar anyway. Imo he can indeed help the team this season. However if he flops just offload him to China or w/e. His wages wont even be a big deal. You all gotta relax, in May the new manager is going to arrive and with 3-4 great signings the club will already be able to compete for the League again. Manpe made a great point, a LB/RB + CB + DM/CM is enough to make the team look absurdly better. Its not like its the end of the world. United and Liverpool are in a worse situation then us!

That happens when you dont satisfy her in bed u wanker!

Dude we know each other, he isnt even new. You are admin, you can check our pms. You are looking like that guy who complained I was rude to Liquidator by "dismissing" his opinion due to him "being 14yo". Anyone who is here for a while knows Harry and I always bant each other for fun and with no harm intended.

Well, real life isnt FIFA, you know?. You dont go to your squad list, look at what you need most and then focus your effort into finding a player for said position before doing anything else. What you actually do is be aware of the entire situation and tackle the opportunities as they present themselves. The only reason we are going after Alexandre Pato is because he is cheap. He comes to be a more reliable bench option than Remy/Falcao and he can also put pressure on Hazard and Pedro as he plays as a winger as well. Honestly, its not a bad sign if for the right price. Now, its obviously that CM and RB are bigger issues, but the problem is there arent any good and cheap options out there. If there was ab oportunity similar to Pato for a midfielder and a fullback, the club would be all over it. But there isnt. If you havent noticed by now, the club is not in pursuit of big targets for January. Our managerial situation is uncertain and the prices are too high, its not worth it. Waiting is actually a much smarter move than to try to salvage a lost season by spending 100mil on panic signs. So just suck it up until May and stop dreaming...

Lmao, dude you are so delusional. You guys havent payed 3 months of "direitos de imagem", some players like Ralf have their actual wages delayed and you still havent payed the prize for winning the League last year. How will you now pay 800 thousand Reais to Alexandre Pato per month? Get Real! Yes, Corinthians is desperate to sell Pato because of MONEY! You believe Globo's and Neto's brainwashing bulshits that Corinthians has been a pitiful victim to China and blah, blah, blah but that is a complete lie. The only reason you lost your players is because they know how dire the situation is and they wanted to jump ship on a high. If everyone was so crazy to go to China make money then why Lucas Lima, Valdivia, Anderson, Arouca, Elias, Geuvanio, Victor, Barrios and 1 Gremio player I forgot the name, ALL had crazy offers from China with the club paying the release fee and they all said no? China is a cemitery, where players go to be forgotten. Nobody wants to trade the chance to win Libertadores for China. Only those who know something is wrong with their current Brazilian club left, so thats why Corinthians lost so many players. Jadson wasnt even offered a contract extension and that pissed him off, so add that to the delayed wages/prize bonuses and of course he wanted to leave. Then Vagner Love (who is already old) decided to join him in making money instead of waiting months to get payed. Thus creating what we have now with Gil, Renato Augusto and maybe even more. The players/staff have no big expectation for 2016 in Corinthians anymore so its obvious they will accept anything that comes their way. Even Cassio accepted the Besikthas offer, it was just that they didnt reach the price your club wanted. And also, I wouldn't be so sure Tite will stay and not replace Dunga, stay alert! Oooooooh and LOL. First of all, besides Gil, all other players Corinthians had a pathetic percentage in their sales, so its not even that much money. Second of all, the money you guys got from selling your players will go to pay your debts. If you didnt know, Caixa pays 2.5 million for your club per month but that can only happen if you have what is called "Certidao Negativa", which is a monthly document that proves you payed your taxes and your staffs wages on time. Its obligatory for Federal Sponsorship. However, its been 4 months Corinthians fails to get it and thus you are 4 motnhs without sponsorship money. Not to count Globo already antecipated your TV quota for 2016. So, hmmm, yeah, you better sell Pato if you want to have money to sign replacements and not delay half a year of wages again...

In case of big European clubs, its not only the revenue merchandise sales that helps cover a players cost. Publicity is a HUGE factor too. When Real or Barcelona sign a crazily expansive player they make the news in many places they normally would not and this ends up atracting new fans (who later on might buy club products, even if not from that specific player). Sometimes even someone who isnt that much into football but likes certain player for some reason or saw the news and know the club is a powerhouse can end up buying a product just because of notoriety or w/e. Thats the power of publicity. This happens a lot in USA and Asia. That also applies for the players home country, but to a lesser extend imo. For instance, I know for a fact that a lot of Colombians root for Madrid simply because they want James Rodriguez to succeed, even if they are not RM fans, per see. Nooooow...China clubs dont have that big of an impact to justify such expenses and they will never recover the money back. There is no way. But if u take a more careful look, there are two types of owners behind those clubs (and this goes for Middle Eastern clubs as well). 1) The owner has so much money, but so much money that the team is his bragging toy so he isnt ultimately worried about recouping the investment. Money is not the issue, status amongst his inner circle is more important. 2) The owner has some real shady business, usually already involved in some fisco problems and pouring money into a football club is the perfect way to laundry it. Some cases are actually quite blatant tbh. So, in resume I believe European clubs do indeed recover most of what is invested, even if it is not that evident. However, when it comes to clubs outside Europe, I cant see any other reason besides those two I pointed out.

That serves no purpose. Drawing twice is worse than alternating between winning and losing each game.
-
Even for 11m euros i think we would be overpaying. Corinthians literally doesnt have the money to pay his wages and they are absurdly desperate to sell him. If they manage to sell Pato for 11 mil they will have the largest smile ever. If we'd offer around 8-9mil and make clear its take it or leave they would say yes in a heartbear
-
We need so many things, not just a RB and CM lol.
-
This is not an option as his contract ends on December, so his club wants to sell him now so they dont lose money.
-
We are saving all our win stocks for UCL
-
Exactly, there are quite a few interviews during his loan in Sao Paulo that pundits asked him what was the main reason he returned to his form and Pato said he prefers to play wide and in SPFC he was allowed to do so, and without much of an obligation to mark the oppositions fullback. We will be making a huge mistake to sign him imo. Not because signing him is bad, but we will be signing him for all the wrong reasons. Lets pretend Hazard and Pedro were playing really well but we needed someone for the bench, then I woukd say Pato would be an amazing option. But signing him to try to fix the lack of goals from Costa and Falcao is total nonsense. Also, I think Pato doesnt have njury problems anymore. However, it is still risky for the fact he does love to club during the week, so the club must becareful.

Lance! is the Brazilian version of Goal, Daily Mail or The Sun. Anything but reliable. Also, will you seriously give credit to a a twitter account named Cynegeticus?
-
Your "PS" just made all your opinion irrelevant lmao. It would be an excuse if Pato hasnt returned his football in SPFC. Sorry but I am tired of people posting about things they dont know shit about

Agree completely but I think the hole is way deeper than that. I think we dont even know which players we want to sign. One thing would be to have targets but not being able to complete the deals, but in my opinion the Board doesnt even know which players would be good signs in January. We dont know who will manage us next season so why sign a markew player who 5 months from now might not be the type of player the new coach wants? It would just be more millions down the drain. BUUUUT, although this scenario is initally bad since we have no perspective on our season performance improving, it might be wiser than going all nuts trying to salvage it like in 2011. Spending 50m on a declined striker and so on. I just wish we could at least sign some good "unkown/cheap" names so the likes of Costa, Oscar, Fabregas, Matic and Cahill stopped playing. The season is already doomed so why not bet on players who wouldnt normally have a chance. It seems pretty bloody obvious. Play RLC, play Baba, sign someone like Pjanic/Christensen, Vardy maybe?, i dont know you got the idea.

It has nothing to do with being 4 points behind. It has to do with ALL PLAYERS not wanting him, they even wrote a letter to Florentino asking for him to keep Carlo and he ignored it. Now, with voting taking place soon and the fans utterly upset with their president, this is Florentino admiting he fucked upbig time and he obviously dont want the voters unhappy (aka the members).

You are British now, deal with it!

Emenalo and the Board would like to say Happy New Year to all Chelsea fans!

Took words out of my mouth. Before planing how big the kitchen is going to be one needs a solid house plant and a constructor to actually build it!
