Easy to blame a youngster and claim he hasn't performed. But Baba truly needs the full backing of the manager which means he should be starting LB regularly allowing him to grow in confidence and reach his potential. I've seen enough in the handful of games he has played for us to say he has the potential to be a fantastic LB except here at Chelsea we'd rather play a right footed RB as LB paired with an old donkey in Ivanovic. I am empathic to Baba speaking to the media like he has. Seems like he's not a stupid kid just to sit and warm the bench while watching donkeys like Ivanovic and Oscar starting every game irrespective of performance and ability. Maybe with the stupid hierarchy we have at Chelsea he will become another Bertrand or De Bruyne and shipped out as shit goods but turn out to be a gem in another team where they appreciate investing in youth with great potential on the pitch and not just in their transfer & profit policies.

I can see Hiddink's DNA manifesting into the current team. I trust he is step by step making us into a much more dangerous and positive team with every player playing to his potential. Hopefully we can get get far in the CL while taking care of unfinished business against Barca the fkn rats.

One thing we need going forwards is to look to buy game changers. The players that can turn a game in an instant. They usually have the class and confidence to change a game single handedly. We use to have Drogba and Lampard who at their peaks could change the game with a brilliant individual goal that came from absolutely nowhere. Remember players like Cantona, Ginola, Dicanio and Suarez who at their best could single handedly win a game and inspire the whole team to lift to another level.
