I believe Jose will take the Man Utd job if offered to him without a doubt. I feel secretly he has always wanted that job and admired Alex Ferguson. However the club's board and owners will never give a manager that brings with him so much regular controversy and negative football to its global brand. He should take the Portuguese national team role tbh. Although his regular antics may suit the hysteria that is Real Madrid.

Refreshing...

With all the top managers having their difficult moments and getting the sack or just staying at a club 3 years max you have to respect Alex Ferguson for the success and longevity he had with Man Utd as much as I dislike his personality and club. Seriously will there ever me another manager that will stay at one club bringing success over the many team rebuilds he saw through with consistent success? I don't think is going to be one in today's dynamic modern game.

Emenalo probably just sits in front of his laptop with FM16 & Youtube scouting getting paid millions..

The more time I think about it I feel that the reason Jose lost the dressing room was due to his unshakable belief in his system and himself. Even when things were clearly not working he did the same thing over and over again. His was disillusioned by his massive ego where all the problems for the disastrous results were with everyone else but himself. Ultimately the last act was to accuse his players of betrayal which was proof of how out of touch and lost he became. I think his critics are right in that he is never going to be a long term manager or one to bring through youth. His football will always be rigid and defensive never allowing for anyone to question his philosophy and system.

If anyone disrespects Hiddink or Roman they will have to face the beast that is Drogba.
-
"Michael I can't bear to watch our crap football. Where is the beautiful attacking football I wanted?"
-
One far fetched scenario will be Hiddink wins us the CL thus qualifying automatically next season. We come back strong in the league impressing our fans, board and Roman. Hiddink is given another two years to rebuild for a new era bringing in a few youth into the first XI.
-
I think the Didier appointment is to keep the players in check. Players respect Drogba immensely and he can speak fluent english and french.
-
So much more energy and pace from the players today.
-
Hiddink is a great manager. I still remeber how he turned an amatuer South Korean national team into world beaters eventually losing to Germany in the semi finals of the world cup. He also took Australia into the knockout stages of the world cup losing to Italy. I have great respect and admiration for this man. He is a very good tactician who prepares his teams very well and put a great emphasis on their physical fitness. He is also able to get the best out of each player including youth by inspiring confidence and belief.
-
Shit lineup but this shows our squad really needs a major shakeup. Time for Hiddink to give our youngsters a chance to show their desire and energy. In summer time to move on the old, entitled and unmotivated pensioners.
-
I believe Holland will tell the squad 'Clear your minds today playing with conviction and belief. Do not fear to express yourselves as our quality as both individuals and team will show through in the end. Courtois Cesar -Zouma- Cahill- Rahman Ruben - Matic Willian Hazard Remy - Costa

I don't think Man Utd's hierarchy will want Jose except for Sir Alex pushing for him. Their owners will ultimately decide that hiring Jose will bring many negatives in terms of club image and style of football that they cannot risk for such a huge global brand. If Van Gaal does not deliver this season than they will pursue Pep to the very end..
-
Pep is the best for the current modern game. I'd like him to come and conduct a big cull of the squad. I also think he can bring through our young talent within his system and philosophy.
-
I think his most likely to take a year off to spend time with his sick fatherand family. I think Jose will do well as a national manager. Portugal would be a interesting project for him.
-
'There is speculation that Chelsea have approached Pep Guardiola about taking over at the end of Hiddink’s temporary stint. The Daily Mail say the Spaniard has let the club know that he thinks they need 10 new players to get to where they want to be.' via the Guardian.
-
He didn't get sacked. It was via mutal consent as per clubs official statement. Apparently it is being reported that he will get paid until the end of this season.
-
We also need a clearout of players at the end of this season. I'd like to see the following move on. IvanovicFabregasOscarMikelRamiresI'm not sure what Terry's role is in all this but in time things may surface and he may need to go as well. Also I think Costa is still one of the best strikers around and deserves another chance.
-
Thank you Jose for all the success you bought to our club. Sadly sometimes things don't end up as you, the club and fans all envisioned. We all hoped that you would remain here for a long time and be hugely successful. But this season has been a disaster and you were given ample time to turn things around which did not happen. Good luck for all your future endeavours and hope you can take some time off to spend with your family. You were and still are 'One of Us'. KTBFFH!
-
What about bringing Ranieri back for next season?
-
If Jose goes than the best interim manager will be Guus Hiddink. Than Pep next year. If Hazard gets sold in summer I'd be devastated. It would be a bigger error than De Bruyne and Robben combined.
-
I think the majority of the squad are fed up with Jose's system and tactics. They know it's not working and now are questioning Jose's judgment, mentality and leadership. The board and Roman's advisers may try influence his decision but ultimately the fate of Jose's future is in Roman's hands.
-
Same shit football, different day. I still think Jose will be in charge until the end of the season where we would narrowly avoid relegation. We will have a new manager next season. Can't see us winning the UCL on current form and morale. Can we beat teams still left like Bayern, Barca and Madrid? Yea pigs might fly too..
-
I changed my vote from Undecided to Yes. I cannot see how Jose can ever build a dynamic & positive modern football team nor can he bring in youth to the first team. The old dog only has one trick and all his opponents now know how to easily beat it. Klopp would have been perfect for us sigh.
