Ranieri's Leicester city is top of the table btw...
-
We look clueless around the box just passing around like school kids. Easy and predictable for them to defend against all day long. Costa should be playing the second half as we lack presence or any real aerial threats in the box when crossing opportunities arise. Seriously cannot believe Ivanovic started ahead of Cesar for RB.
-
Jose's love for Ivanovic is everlasting. Today playing at home to a lowly team like Bournemouth he benches our best RB Cesar and plays captain Ivanovic who has not made one decent cross out of all the great opportunities he was afforded. His lack of pace is embarrassing for a full back being caught out numerous times when they hit on the counter. His arms behind the back play makes me cringe everytime.

So what's the situation for UCL progress. Is it a must win game for us? what happens if we finish equal 11 points with Porto and Dynamo ?
-
Im guessing there will now be a full on ground assault by a French led coalition. Seems like the airstrikes will never completely destroy ISIS.

Sad day. The world needs peace. RIP to all victims. I was in Paris in 2013 and it is a truly beautiful city. More understanding and less hate.
-
I remember Essien played as a CB and RB a few times under Jose previously. I think Kennedy is such a talent he would excel in any of the left sided positions. But attack is his best talent and should not be wasted in a defensive position.

This is a fkn circus. Even Real Madrid fans are laughing at us..

I'm 50/50 but still think he should be given until the end of the season otherwise they would always remain that question mark should we have or not have sacked him. Also Alex Ferguson had a terrible early season at Man Utd before becoming a club immortal. Klopp also had a terrible first half of a season before clawing back points in the 2nd half. In saying all this I have some criticisms. Jose is making me sound like a broken record here but he needs to change & modify his approach. That game highlighted how lacking our attack is given the amount of talent we have at disposal. The final third of our attack is a fkn disaster. The attackers all seem to try drift into the box and everyone is crowding in there standing like statues. Once the attacker with the ball goes into the box he holds onto way too late and hit a piss poor shot or final pass. It was predictable and easily dealt with by Stoke's defence all day long. Also why weren't Cesar and Baba drilling crosses from out wide on the overlap & drawing out Stoke's defenders which would have kept them guessing. So fkn frustrating to watch our team to the point where I'm fkn screaming at the TV like a mad man! I have honestly seen junior teams and my sunday league team play with better tactical approaches and fundamentals than Chelsea. Seriously is Jose still going to continually stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation and his one dimensional attacking approach until he gets the sack? For farks sake man try save yourself & make some progressive changes to your approach. Recently Jose said he's not going to change his ways and that he can only learn from himself at this high level. Wakeup Jose its almost 2016 & we're 16th in the league! You know what all greats in every industry continually push for progress, learning from their peers and competitors. If you stick to the same one approach in any modern & dynamic industry you're going to get killed by the competition. So will this old stubborn chestnut Jose accept there needs to be changes or will his his ego get in the way? Well now it's all in his hands and there are no excuses left for him or other people to blame. That's if isn't sacked on Monday already. I am currently in great pain for our club's dismal situation. Maybe we can still win the CL and this season will be saved. KTBFFH!!!

Bang on line up. Although RLC should have at least made the bench.
-
Leaping, heading and marking ability is much more important than height. Does Jose remember Cannavaro or Puyol?
-
We would lose any forward momentum we are carrying if Ivanovic starts this game. Kennedy deserves a start imo.
-
Does Jose still remember Ashley Cole's height? The world's best LB at his peak. Sometimes Jose needs to stop making pathetic excuses.
-
As I have said before Willian has the ability and talent to be an absolute beast in his position. He has that change of speed like Douglas Costa and just needs to back himself more taking on defenders as well as be more clinical with his final ball or shot. I think he can also try not to slow down the play as much as he does especially when we are countering and carrying the forward momentum.
-
In time I believe he has the talent to be a top LB for us. He needs regular playing time and the full support from Jose when he makes mistakes. Building up confidence in young players is key to their development.
-
This will be a tough game. We need a tactically positive approach to this game by trying comprehensively to outplay them using the ball to open up space with clever movement off the ball as I'm sure they will sit deep trying to hit us on the counter. Baba and Cesar should look for the overlaps and driss crosses from out wide. Ramires and Matic have the energy and dynamism to provide cover when they bomb forwards. Costa Willian -Hazard- Kennedy Matic - Ramires Baba -Terry -Cahill - Cesar Begovic
-
Lazy, soft, slow and overrated. Only thing going for him is that rare sublime pass and besides that nothing but a dead weight IMO. I don't think he can improve much either as he has hit the same invisible wall as Ivanovic. No more set pieces for fucks sake.
-
He doesn't seem to have a very good football brain & I don't know how he was considered a potential brazilian #10 wonderkid. Loves to slow down any momentum in the final third or choose the worst option pass and space to run into. The problem with him is that he doesn't really have a natural position in our team that he excels in. I think he would suit MR in a 4-4-2 formation but even this is still not a perfect for him.
-
There were positives in last night's game to build on. I'm glad he gave Baba a start who was decent and should continue to develop with more time and encouragement. Would have liked to seen Oscar dropped with Kennedy given a chance to start. Moving forwards I think Jose needs to work on getting the attack to be more clinical and decisive in & around the box as there were too many wrong decisions and holding onto the ball when a simple pass was the correct option. I think Matic and Ramires seemed like the best partnership atm. Ramires looked energetic and dynamic although his technique should be worked on for improvement. Matic showed good composure and grit. He is so important for our team and can be fantastic when he is given the backing and confidence to own that position. Defence is still looking a little too shaky at times. I think Jose needs to improve the communication aspect of the back four. Terry I feel needs to more firmly assert his leadership and marshalling at the back. Definitely more talking and shouting by JT especially to build up young Zouma's positioning and anticipation. I would also like see Begovic be more commanding of his box and talk more with his defence which should help improve some of the indecisiveness at the back. Overall an improved performance which we can build upon. We just need to keep improving on our current weakness and liabilities and hopefully keep winning with Jose also evolving his style of management KTBFFH!
-
A definite improvement overall. We need to be more clinical in the final third and also iron out any indecisiveness at the back.
-
Fuck so much conflicting information I do not know what to believe anymore. The media love to fuck with our club which is the only truth out of all this.
-
Jose said he's not going to change his ways. So in light of that I say draw at best. 1-1
-
What about Mercedes Benz and Range Rover ? I find here in Australia wanker cars to be: Audi BMW Range Rover Mercedes
-
This is the mindset that may be his downfall. But I do hope Jose proves us all wrong guiding us out of this hole..

I have had the time to reflect and analyse our current terrible situation. First of all we stumbled into this situation via Jose's stubborn approach to first team selection, lack of squad rotation and unshakable belief in 'His' players. He continued to start the likes of Ivanovic and Fabregas when they were all both shockingly underperforming. Also the lack of belief and playing time for our fringe and youngsters did not help give them the confidence or match sharpness they deserved. When they were finally called up it was often at the worst situation possible with far too much pressure on them to perform. Instead of trying to break out of a bad situation by being positive with his tactics, formation and selections Jose does the opposite and becomes even more negative and conservative. This approach leads our players to play with fear and trepidation rather than belief and exuberance. We have an absolute abundance of talent in our squad with all their combined talents we should be soundly destroying our weaker opponents by playing positively with belief, dynamism and passion. Im sure his staff and players all know these factors to be true but cannot speak up as they are afraid of the reprisal they will suffer if they ever challenge 'his' ways especially in light of Eva's situation who was much liked and respected by the squad, staff and supporters. Jose has to realise he has the support, resources and belief around him to evolve his approach to save the sinking ship. But ultimately I feel Jose's ego and stubbornness will be his downfall as he will either go down with the ship or more likely get pushed overboard by the ship's owners before it sinks. We must all unite together whatever happens in future and rally around our club as no one person is bigger than the club. KTBFFH!!!!
