  1. Oscar genuinely looks like a 'special needs' student there. Im sure Conte sees the need for some special attention by him.
  2. N’Golo Kante to Chelsea: Blues agree £29m fee with Leicester, five-year deal offered http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/688958/Chelsea-Transfer-News-Leicester-N-Golo-Kante-gossip-news
  3. Manchester United eye transfer of Cesc Fabregas if Chelsea midfield overhaul makes him surplus to requirements http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-united-eye-transfer-cesc-8407623
  4. So they signed a player for £100m that that let go for free a few years ago. Good on them and Im sure their owners will be happy with that.
  5. Oscar + Cuadrado and some cash our way for him. Done deal..
  6. Lionel Messi handed jail term in Spain for tax fraud Argentina and Barcelona footballer Lionel Messi has been sentenced to 21 months in prison for tax fraud, Spanish media say. His father, Jorge Messi, was also given a jail term for defrauding Spain of €4.1m (£3.5m; $4.5m) between 2007 and 2009. They also face millions of euros in fines for using tax havens in Belize and Uruguay used to conceal earnings from image rights. However, they are likely to avoid jail. Under the Spanish system, prison terms under two years can be served under probation. The footballer and his father were found guilty of three counts of tax fraud in Wednesday's ruling by the court in Barcelona. During the trial, Lionel Messi claimed he "knew nothing" about the management of his financial affairs, saying he was "playing football" http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36721892
  7. Not going to happen for us I feel. Man Utd will pay a record fee and make him the highest paid player in the PL. Unless Real Madrid go nuts and sign him for a higher sum. It will be a transfer fee and wage war.
  8. Just sell him. Cut our losses and be done with this clown.
  9. If Jose ever tries to eye gouge or shout out Portuguese obscenities at one of our staff i'm sure Conte will kick his fkn ass like a crazy Italian mobster.
  10. "Boss we really believe Morata is the perfect fit for our team!" Why Fabregas not in that picture?
  11. Conte could be a character in Godfather or Goodfellas. He has that dont fuck with me Im a crazy Italian feel about him.
  12. Argentina will win the Copa America in normal time 1-0
  13. Anyone got any thoughts and insight on the USA vs Columbia game?
  14. Heart says States but head says Argentina. Hopefully the States can grind it out for a draw and win it via shootout.
  15. Watched him play for Columbia today against Peru and still not convinced he's good enough to be a first team player for us. His fast and quite strong but his balance, decision making and movement is below average. We won't win titles with players like this in our starting 11. Sell him and use the funds to raise the quality in our starting 11.
  16. Im hopping Jose will come in for Oscar at £40m+ and will build Man Utd around him. This will make me very happy..
  17. Just got me thinking today Mourinho is like Trump. People either love him or loathe him and they both seem to create drama and disruption everywhere they go.

  21. Rebuilding the Bridge Make no mistake, this summer will be a rebuilding job at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea having dropped from champions to mid-table. However, Conte has the relevant experience on his CV. He revived struggling teams at Arezzo, Bari, Atalanta and Siena, but his work at Juventus stands out the most. Having finished in seventh in 2010/11, Conte took over from Luigi Delneri and led Juve to the league title without a single defeat, the first club to do so in Italian history. Conceding just 20 goals in 38 games, it was their first official league title since 2003 after being stripped of two Serie A crowns for their involvement in the 2006 Calciopoli scandal. Tactics-wise, Conte is not restricted to his 3-5-2 formation, used predominantly at Juventus and with Italy. He has been known to switch to 4-3-3 successfully, a flexibility which has seen him lose just 18 games in his 167 as a manager since starting at Juventus in 2011. Sky in Italy reporter Gianluca Di Marzio believes rather than shoehorning players into his system, Conte would adapt his system according to the players' capabilities In a column on his website earlier this week, Di Marzio said: "As Conte himself has said many times, he believes a good manager adapts to the personnel he has and not the other way around." Conte was equally impressive in the transfer market, and despite some inevitable misses, hits included Andrea Pirlo (free), Paul Pogba (free), Carlos Tevez (£6.75m), Arturo Vidal (£9.4m) and Stephan Lichtsteiner (£7.5m). During his three seasons at Juve, Conte never spent over £15m on a player. What they've said "I am extremely lucky I met Antonio Conte, I had so many coaches to compare him too, and he is the one who surprised me the most. I was expecting a good coach, but not that good." - Andrea Pirlo, 2014, in I Think, Therefore I Play autobiography.Andrea Pirlo says he is 'lucky' to have played under Conte "The secret of our success is the ambition our coach has. Conte has brought a new mentality to the club. He has pushed us to sweat, to find strength and to undergo hard work in order to cancel out the last two disappointing campaigns." - Gianluigi Buffon, 2012
