  1. This City side kinda remind me of us in the end of 2010/2011 season. Ageing squad, starting to lose direction and identity. Sucks to be them right now.
  2. Lol, needless to say if City don't win, their title campaign is over.
  3. They all look like a remake of our 2013/2014 kits. I don't think they're genuine.
  4. The OP wants a simple answer. Well I'd rather keep Costa. But that was easy, give me something else. What is it going to be? Would I let go of Fabregas, so I can take Eriksen? ....
  5. Simply fantastic! Damn, it feels like ages since we last won a cup. I know I'm spoiled, but I don't care! KTBFFH!
  6. Our performance kept me on my toes the entire match, but the result is what really matters, so I'm happy! City dropping points makes the good weekend a great one. It should be pointed out they haven't won any of their last 4 Premier League games and as of today they are closer to the 5th (6 points ahead of Spurs) than they are to us. Would love it if they are dragged in battle for the CL places, but the return of Toure will most likely give them a huge boost. Hopefully he won't make it for their match against Stoke midweek.
  7. Good luck to Ryan! He's playing well in Southampton and seems to have improved greatly. Permanent move there is the best thing for him.
  8. I'm really sad to see Andre go as he was definitely among my favorites, I even supported Germany over the course of the World Cup entirely because of him! I'd have liked him to establish himself firmly in the starting eleven, but as hard as he was trying it didn't work out. Still have the feeling if he was given more time he'd have turned his situation around, but anyway good luck to Andre in the second best team in the Bundesliga and I'll be happy to see him become their star player.
  9. Unbelievable At 2-0 I was like: game over At 2-1: meh, we'll score some more At 2-2 I was shocked At 2-3 I was pissed off And at 2-4 I started laughing
  10. Just perfect! Before the match I was all like "Arsenal are getting thrashed again", but had my inner hopes that they'll leave The Etihad with something. And there we go, back on the New Year's day City had the gap absolutely nullified and now two weeks later we're looking at regaining that 8 point cushion we had in November. The status quo can be shuffled in a flash.
  11. Oh, okay then, fair enough. If anyone asks where I heard about a possible link with Yokohama, my answer would be: a guy in a forum told me so
  12. Mata missed a hat-trick of chances in less than 10 minutes!
  13. One year ago I'd have taken him in a heartbeat, but his fitness issues are becoming increasingly worrying. And he suffered those injuries in the Bundesliga, imagine what could happen in a physically demanding league like the EPL. That makes him somewhat risky signing, but as long as we take him on a cut price deal, he'll be worth it.
  14. Fantastic piece of news! The thought of having Turkish Airlines (or any other airline company for that matter) made me wanna barf, so this thread kinda made my day. Hope it's not just another silly rumour and the source is as reliable as you all make it out to be.
  15. Of course it's ridiculous. It makes almost as much sense as opening a thread in a Chelsea forum, which is filled with West Ham fans. Some even asking if they can insult a Chelsea legend without any consequences It's just hilarious
  16. Anything short of winning the league would be a failure (unless we win the CL again). City have done better in the last month, mainly due to easier fixtures and considering their tougher away games (+ their visit at The Bridge) we still have a slight advantage at this point.
  17. So, bottom line Lamps has always been a cunt, doesn't deserve to be associated with Chelsea and we should also feel sorry for AVB? Okay then, let's start a petition in order to officially remove him as our top goalscorer, shall we? And while we're at it why don't we start blowing bubbles at the Bridge......
  18. His life, his choice. Still the greatest player that has ever put on a Chelsea shirt. Good luck to Lamps and hopefully he enjoys being a runner-up at the end of the season.
  19. I don't want to think about any future captains while JT is around, but have to admit the ex gooner looks like a natural leader and is becoming increasingly influential in the team.
  20. Fair enough. Apart from the goals, I can't recall seeing us creating any other clear cut chances, just dives and Foy having a field day giving yellows like Christmas cards.
  21. Still not sure how we played as I couldn't find a good stream and had no other choice but to watch a laggy slideshow, but still 3 points and moving forward. Hazard with a great header and a lovely assist to Diego, who is back on the scoresheet after a brief slump.
  22. Sigh. Pretty sure we would have kept Lamps if we wanted to. Even in 2012/13 when he scored many important goals to help us beat Spurs and Arsenal to 3rd and qualify for the CL and broke the goalscoring record he had to wait till the very end of the season until his contract was renewed and the media had quite some fun with the issue. A while ago it was depressing coming here and reading insults directed at Lamps, but the turning point was when people claiming to be Chelsea fans called him Fat Frank. Then I realized it's gotten beyond ridiculous, not worth feeling bad about it and also it was a fine example why some fans call us plastic (jealousy and bitterness aside).
