  1. Some people who have a sense of humour bypass need a transplant.
  2. Really ? "Civil war" blimey -Yes but we're civilised in the West Its incredible isnt it -two passions football +nationalism/religion against your rivals recipe for carnage. In a way its worse in South America as in the main the fans are only rioting over rivalry on the pitch !
  3. The players in the main kept a lid on it. Unlike in 1990. ....
  4. Good thread. Moved to Football banter
  5. Like Chelsea games in the 80s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDs5mwNRY7U#t=174
  6. Poll was always a tart, trying to be best mates with the famous prem stars when refereeing, now hes resorting to 'outrageous' punditry in a sad attempt to still be noticed. Probably.
  7. I dont know what it is about supporters of teams that play in red, but it seems the first mandatory requisite is to look like a fucking freak. Lots about yesterday
  8. Arsenal fans: Fucking mongs. They looked liked a cross between a sixth form college outing and ebola victims in remission. Pinnacle has to be when they sat down in fulham road singing to White stripes tune "your captains a racist"
  9. MOTD 2; How is it 'unsavoury ' when our players ask for a red, but a 'strong claim'when arsenal players do it ? How is Jose not shaking hands with Wenger worse than him pushing Jose ? Punditry by idiots. Good how Mourinho has the French whinger exactly where he wants him psychologically though.
  10. Put in a great shift today, the consumate professional, and hes obviously made the right choice. Got a great reception when he came on too.
  11. Quite a few Arsenal will boo him on Sunday. They really are spastics.
  12. Hahaha Phil "gonzo"Thomson totally delusional http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12931/9499095/liverpool-v-real-madrid-phil-thompson-says-underdog-tag-will-benefit-reds
  13. which is exactly why I'd have them whisked from Heathrow to Cobham faster than a fast thing from Fastville, Schurle "get the cones out!", and get them practising finishing immediately , ala Clough when he was unhappy.
  14. Could have been 6-0. I'd have em all down Cobham tomorrow for some finishing training. Still 3 points.....
  15. boring if we all had the same opinion though

  17. A lot of praise for the suits so far. However, which ever way you cut it, they would have had the ultimate yay or nay over Lampard staying or going. They made a major wrong decision imo.
  18. Getting off topic now -lets keep taliking about Super, Super Frank
  19. Thats true. People are pretty entrenched in their degrees of pissed offness, and think other people on this forum should feel the same. Aint gonna happen.
  20. Shrews manager- Jose Mourinho and his Stamford Bridge stars will arrive at Greenhous Meadow on either October 28 or 29 as Shrewsbury bid to reach the fifth round for only the second time in their history. And Mellon said he was delighted for everyone connected with the club and the town after being drawn against one of Europe’s elite. He said: “I think it is brilliant for everyone and is exactly what this club has been missing. My phone hasn’t stopped and I bet the players are dancing around their living rooms. “Chelsea at home – it couldn’t be any better for the people of Shrewsbury. Mourinho and all his stars are coming to town. “It’s a wow moment. It is incredible and it’s what the football club deserved and needed. With everything that has gone on over the past few years, I just want all the fans to come along and enjoy it.” Shrewsbury secured their place in the fourth round of the competition following a brilliant win against Championship Norwich on Tuesday night with a James Collins header securing a 1-0 victory. The goal saw Town reach the fourth round of the competition for the first time since the 1986-87 season. Mellon said: “We really wanted to be drawn against one of the big boys. For me it’s an amazing chance to take on arguably the best manager in the world, but this isn’t about me. “This is about the people of Shrewsbury. We wanted the football gods to smile on us and they have done – it’s going to be fantastic for the whole area. “We wanted a big team and it just doesn’t get any bigger than Chelsea. It’s a brilliant, brilliant draw.” But Mellon warned his stars they have to perform against Southend of Saturday and in the games running up to the tie to have any chance of being involved. He added: “Southend is still the biggest game. My players need to make sure they concentrate and don’t lose focus.” Love this bit - “We wanted a big team and it just doesn’t get any bigger than Chelsea. It’s a brilliant, brilliant draw.”
  21. Heard a few comments last night 'Traitor' ' Hes dead to me' etc. These were the same people that were asking where certain stands were, and loads didnt recognise Zola when he walked past
  22. Thats it I am burning my lampard shirt, pants, and Frankie Doll Mask and making a ''Fuck Off Fat Frank You Judas'' banner out of a stained bedsheet for the return fixture
  23. Passion, cheering, fighting, jeering, chelsea till I die - just need to stand back a bit now and again. Only scousers or gooners would call their ex players judas. That would be sprayed on a grubby bedsheet
  24. Good write up on how we cheered Frank at the end. Apparently we have class and dignity - and there was me thinking we're just a bunch of drunken foul mouthed yobs when we travel To my mind the only fans that would have a scruffy old bedsheet sprayed 'Judas' would be liverpool or arsenal fans. Come on, we're better than that. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/des-kelly-chelsea-fans-add-a-touch-of-dignity-and-class-to-a-world-of-football-excess-9748082.html
