  1. He was moved ' upstairs' when he became ill, and Hollins took over. That was when the rot set in. Makes you wonder how far he could have took us had he stayed in good health
  2. "Johnny Neals Blue and White army" Used to echo around away grounds
  3. Put together a very good team, bringing in David Speedie, Pat Nevin, Paul Cannoville, and a certain Mr Kerry Dixon. He reigned when we had our greatest ever travelling support. RIP a great manager.
  4. Completely. Deluded, living in the past, I am loving watching motd 2 and Palace destroying them.
  5. Eight different books have been released to commemorate the story of Liverpools second-placed finish in the Premier League and how close they came to re-establishing themselves as the champions last season. Only one was brought out about the champions, Manchester City, and it is certainly a strange set of events that there was a full summers worth of reading about the club where Bill Shanklys old prophecy about first being first, and second being nowhere, is almost as much a part of the history as the Anfield gates."
  6. Short sleeves and gloves Following a tradition of chels nutters. Proper chels legend in the making.
  7. lol Hezbollich Albion. Work with a villa fan hes had a few, er, disagreements with them. I have never been to the Hawthorns and seen chelsea win
  8. It was reported in the liverpool echo, but has now disappeared.
  9. Prob be the usual of upping the game 2nd half, but 3 points nailed on. Are there many beirut baggies then ?
  10. They highlighted that on MOTD.Defensive frailties led to at least 3 goals conceded so far. I think its something that can be adapted to his game though, hes an intelligent bloke. There have been loads of SW6 'stars' eg Hazard, Drogba, that Mourinho has dug out and modified their play so as to incorporate dormant defensive qualities.
  11. And a shout out to our fantastic travelling support yesterday. Zola song at the end, the icing on the cake.
  12. Match summary: Scousers are cunts. Handball ! Handball !! No, please, pray a minutes silence for them.. . . .HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
  13. Theyre in meltdown, never fear young man, will bet you if you like they wont go through
  14. Aint gonna happen, they could still be eliminated even if they win their final group games - against Bayern Munich and Roma. £600 000 000 they have spent since Sheik ' Money coming out my arse ' bought the club !
  15. Steve Gerrard, Gerrard, he slipped on his fucking arse, He gave it to Demba ba, Steve Gerrard, Gerrard
  16. Its all about his book being released on Thursday.Quite funny, apparently he goes on about how Liverpool players thought the title was won before job done. I reckon there should be a foreword by Demba ba.
  17. Quite a few gooners on 606 saying Wenger has to go. Long may he reign.
  18. Adrian Chiles looks like hes stood in front of a blue Champions league wheelie bin.
  19. The media always hang on joses every word - his and Russell Brands at the moment
  20. Lol Portuguese piss take. So Chelsea have won 5 FA Cups, 3 League wins, 2 League Cups, Champs League and Ropey League despite the atmosphere having been been pony at the Bridge for 12-15 years ? Ferguson used to slate Old Trafford from time to time, Highbury didn't get the nick name Library for no reason and our atmosphere in previous title winning seasons has been dire but it made absolutely no difference. The best teams won simple as that. If fans/atmosphere's won you titles, clubs like Portsmouth wouldn't be where they are now and despite what the Scousers might think I'm still yet to see a crowd have any effect on the game or scare any set of players. If it did, Sunderland would never have beaten us in the League Cup back in 1985. Dont get me wrong we'd all like the atmosphere as good as it is away at home, but aint gonna happen. As for not ''being a real fan'', I was going 20 years before your dad shot his load and produced you so, with all due respect youre talking bollocks.
  21. Best news today, and a polite way of saying hes past it ''Brendan Rodgers is considering resting Steven Gerrard for Liverpool’s game at Real Madrid on Tuesday night after admitting that he regards Saturday’s match at home to Chelsea as more important than the Champions League clash''
