  1. The club have admitted that tickets are bought by 'bots' on the automated ticket system, then sold on by touts. Explains a lot about the (lack of) atmosphere.
  2. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fF3bjrG7arQ Always get a tingle when we draw Watford. Old enough to remember the FA semi against them 1970. 5-1.
  3. Agree with that Hitman, and at least it stops the media going on and on about 'can we be like Arsenals invincibles'. As for the forum there is a tendency for it to implode if the opponents win a throw in
  4. What happened ? Seemed to have a lot of potential and cant get a game now at Vitesse http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2014/12/07/6844482/chelseas-jack-wilshere-now-josh-mceachran-cant-even-get-a
  5. Hope he does well at Bolton , theyve signed Heskey as well ! Back to the Future.
  6. One of the best game v Yids. They had Ossie Ardiles and we had Diamond Lights as manager https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqAOpkwEYlY
  7. Few year ago Seven Sisters road, stays in the mind .
  8. I want to see them beat for the Chelsea kid -6 or 7 years old, that their brave fans poured a pint of beer over. Very brave Come on Chels !!
  9. Draw a fair result, we didn't do enough in the final 3rd. Although credit to Sunderland, they defended well making it hard for us. Thought we were quite lucky costa didn't see red, so I'm thankful he's only missing spurs midweek instead of 3 games, also his 5th yellow out the way, which it wouldn't have been with a red. Thought Matic and Hazard looked knackered. Willian was our best player. No complaints with Jose's subs, he went for it at the end to be fair, but given we were lacking width and struggling to open them up by going down the middle all the time, Luis could have prised them open. Drogba or Remy Wednesday? I think Jose will go Drogba
  10. Pat Nevin remembering John Neal -Fantastic read http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/11/pat-nevin--remembering-john.html
  11. Thanks Liverpool for the ban. Yes, he had the acumen to win a title. I am not sure 'health' was the full story, and maybe we will never know, Bates will probably take the truth to the grave. PS theres an error in your piece from the official website, we didnt win at Highbury it was 1-1
  12. He was moved ' upstairs' when he became ill, and Hollins took over. That was when the rot set in. Makes you wonder how far he could have took us had he stayed in good health
  13. "Johnny Neals Blue and White army" Used to echo around away grounds
  14. Put together a very good team, bringing in David Speedie, Pat Nevin, Paul Cannoville, and a certain Mr Kerry Dixon. He reigned when we had our greatest ever travelling support. RIP a great manager.
  15. Completely. Deluded, living in the past, I am loving watching motd 2 and Palace destroying them.
  16. Eight different books have been released to commemorate the story of Liverpools second-placed finish in the Premier League and how close they came to re-establishing themselves as the champions last season. Only one was brought out about the champions, Manchester City, and it is certainly a strange set of events that there was a full summers worth of reading about the club where Bill Shanklys old prophecy about first being first, and second being nowhere, is almost as much a part of the history as the Anfield gates."
  17. Short sleeves and gloves Following a tradition of chels nutters. Proper chels legend in the making.
  18. lol Hezbollich Albion. Work with a villa fan hes had a few, er, disagreements with them. I have never been to the Hawthorns and seen chelsea win
  19. It was reported in the liverpool echo, but has now disappeared.
  20. Prob be the usual of upping the game 2nd half, but 3 points nailed on. Are there many beirut baggies then ?
  21. They highlighted that on MOTD.Defensive frailties led to at least 3 goals conceded so far. I think its something that can be adapted to his game though, hes an intelligent bloke. There have been loads of SW6 'stars' eg Hazard, Drogba, that Mourinho has dug out and modified their play so as to incorporate dormant defensive qualities.
  22. And a shout out to our fantastic travelling support yesterday. Zola song at the end, the icing on the cake.
