  1. Not yesterday, but it's been sung for a while. It references West Ham as the 'pikeys'. There are much more important things, but journalists need to earn a crust I suppose, and if that continues to be labelling Labour ant-semitic or Chelsea fans racist it's the way tabloid journalism works.
  2. All looked OK today, but maybe Luiz has eaten a lot of pies. Saw Fat Frank outside. We were in fine song as always. Good day out, but Reading FC need a lot of sorting in terms of admission, parking, traffic management. Wasn't going to pay £10 to park so revved up and left the parking steward in a cloud of dust. #Fuck the Royals
  3. Think a lot of their bravado came after that 1985 doc 'Hooligan'. Cass Pennant, Carlton Leach -Essex Range Rover murder boys in it.
  4. Ah mate -it goes back to when we signed him and West ham fans in their spite called him that. Always stuck with a lot of us but in an ironic sense when he was banging in 20 a season -yeah not derogative
  5. Have been a couple of times before, but good to see that blokes perspective Fat Franks first match as Chels manager on English soil
  6. So impressed with the performance v Barca Just got tickets for this -bargain £12 each
  7. Watching Chels v Blackpool 1977 on BT2 what fantastic passes and long balls from Ray Wilkins. Cant believe hes dead RIP
  8. Thought Barkleys shot was better than Rakitics whether by design or luck
  9. Tomori aint JT. JT would have stuck his face in front of that
  10. I might be in a minority, but think he's overrated. His final ball/shot could definitely improve, take the Cash....
  11. Was thinking they couldn't have that in a film now.. I know its a sort of cult student film, but still some brilliant lines in it ''Are you the farmer ? (to a bloke on a tractor with his leg in a plastic bag) -We've come on holiday by mistake'' ''Perfumed ponce''
  12. Like you say so many twists and turns - youve reminded me of that snooker final Dennis Taylor/Steve Davis 1985 in a pub, no one really paying much attention at first, then going mental as it swung either way.
  13. Stokesy does it again. That 6 when he dived and it rebounded off his bat was mad -like if Hollywood were to make a film about cricket....
  14. Oh Oi luv a bit of da Oirish football, its great
  15. Big Match Revisited all night on BT Sport 1 if anyone interested. Mainly 1974-5 season. Atm it's the dad of our current manager Frank Lampard Snr (West Ham) v QPR (Another of our managers Dave Webb playing for them). T*ttenahm v Chelsea later The pitches are quagmires
  16. Yup, but they want you to feel powerless. Best way to counter it is to act locally. Ignore the US hegemony for a while, theres fuck all we can do. However, in your own neighbourhood it's more accessible. We did this with various groups in the 80s and 90s. We exposed corruption at a local level, which resulted in quite a few business people that had political connections to resign and disappear. It's a fucking great morale booster, otherwise you end up moaning and powerless. Heres a tip- almost every councillor, local government official that has been in office for more than five years will be getting bungs, kickbacks, bribes from businesses. Expose that to the local media and they can't ignore it.
  17. When George W Bush was president he was speaking to a room of about 50 people. He said something along the lines 'you are my backers and the only ones that matter'. They were all weapons billionaires and oil billionaires.
  18. Come back Eden if they give you more grief !
  19. Should be a cracker ! - but can only see Djoko winning it this year. Going gluten free seems to have improved his game. WTF is gluten ?
