Sad to see him go http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2017/03/john-phillips-1951-2017.html That pic reminded me of the stickers we collected- in fact I think it's the same picture

Managers have input into who stays and goes, along with the board. But Contes input is just one of many, and as with Mourinho, it's basically up to the board. They would make an economic decision, but plumb new depths if they let him go imo

Obviously not their fault, it was someone else https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/mar/30/liverpool-transfer-ban-academy-players

Probably the second worst thing about the game after TV scheduling
-
and he doesn't seem the bloke who seeks praise and accolades. Perhaps we should have a whip round and upgrade his car to a Mini Cooper
-
Its the usual elephant in the room -agents. They've weighed in today as well .... ''Chelsea star N'Golo Kante is 'extremely unhappy' at the club, according to his agent. 'Kante isn't receiving the respect that he deserves', his agent said. 'He could play for any of the top clubs in Europe.'' Parasites that get 10% every move
-
We need a Kante song, like the Willian one now After the R5 programme the commentators/pundits were saying how hard it would be for us to hang on to him. This really shouldn't be an issue. With the wealth of the club, no player should be prised away if we want to keep them, and that includes Hazard.

No flash trappings either, drives a mini.

Best Midfielder in the World right now..... ''Creating N'Golo'' Programme 7 30- Radio 5 tonight http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39248977

Odd how PS4 have him when he was bald. The game came out after he had three hair transplants
-
Might ring them and ask the score after next match - ''My wireless is broken''
-
Like me and the internet. Yeah Chelsea Independent was immense. Going down memory lane now but do you remember Chelsea Club call ? Just a load of Chelsea news on the end of a premium rate phone number, but mandatory to ring up on Friday night or Saturday morning usually from a phone at work.

Come on Boro get another

Still got a few copies knocking around somewhere - and loads of CFCUK s

I was reminiscing back to school when we played one touch football or no contact football - we'd beat every team 9-10 nil under those conditions !
-
Same as Man Utd, Hughes had instructed them to wind up Diego, injure Luiz. A blessing Hazard didn't travel, he'd be out with a serious injury after that game. We will get more of this till May - but we have the skill, determination, fitness, and team bonding to take the title. So fuck' em. Well done lads and Antonio and special praise for Kante and Loftus Cheek
-
Crap defending mainly. And lack of any quality, but it'll be OK 2017-18 because The Chels will be gracing Europe. Meanwhile good luck to Leicester...

FAO Iggy, Oh for a Greavsie and any other 'oldies' here Saw this on another site.... Got some sad news last night...Alan Collis passed away. Many of you will have known Alan. A Chelsea supporter going back to the 60s, he started the Red Card Chelsea fanzine in the late 80s, when the fanzines were the only avenues for alternative views on the club. Alan was very perceptive and had a sharp sense of humour which led to numerous run-ins with Ken Bates but he always managed to avoid Kens litigation. We had some fantastic adventures abroad, particularly when Chelsea found themselves back in Europe after 22 years, in 1994. The trips to Prague, Vienna and Zaragoza were particularly enjoyable. Alan had suffered cancer for the last 18 months, although you wouldnt have known it the last time I saw him at a game last season. He was still running and looked remarkably well. He was still driving his black cab around Sutton and Carshalton, giving his opinions on life in general and Chelsea Football Club in particular, to anyone who would listen. He passed away peacefully at The Royal Marsden last night with his two children Oliver and Natalie at his bedside. He was only 61. RIP Alan...one of lifes characters

Jose complaining about refereeing decisions when he sent a team out to kick the fuck out of our players, Hazard in particular. He seems to be forgetting the glut of offside goals earlier in the season, never mind the Southampton 'goal' in the League Cup Final. United were a disgrace tonight and, having grown up with the Best, Law and Charlton school of football they can forget about that now. Herrera is a niggly, spiteful cunt and like his team got what he deserved. Well done Antonio and the lads.
-
Kudos Iggy for that -you saw history. Clive Walker was a bit of an athlete, allegedly able to do the 100m just over 10 seconds in football boots

Conjures up wonderful imagery -
I think the difference this season is the unity, mentality, diet and general fitness. JT alluded to Antonios rigorous training sessions, and it's evident around 75-80 minute mark several games this season where the opposition are visibly flagging and we're still at peak output

No way Chelsea can win the league...Seven Reasons by The Sun in September https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/premierleague/1801349/seven-reasons-chelsea-wont-win-premier-league-far-from-manchesters-standards-david-luiz-is-a-flop-and-no-hungry-young-stars 5. Far from Manchester's standards PEP Guardiola is yet to loose a game as Manchester City manager, and even when Sergio Aguero is suspended, they are still awesome. Aguero is serving a three-match ban but City still score and win comfortably, and how they outplayed Jose Mourinho's United in the first-half of the Manchester derby is just a confirmation. And in the case of the Red Devils, Mourinho has brought in quality amongst anything else with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba - there is no doubt they will take many points for the rest of the season. This is exactly what Chelsea lack because the Premier League has reached another level this season. Big guns of Manchester are ever so big, imposing insane standards in this modern era. Perhaps they would like some cream with their Humble Pie.......

Important result for us -they are probably the only challengers
