We all know as @Atomiswave and @Vesper have also said that Trump, Johnson, and other World leaders are scoundrels. Interestingly their status is actually reinforced by their unpopularity. It is a psychological trait that when they say something offensive, or crassly stupid, the people offended get a dopamine hit from being outraged and pointing out their idiocy either verbally or social media. Guess what I am saying that the macro-ecomomic/political situation is generally beyond our control - apart from being allowed to put a cross on a bit of paper every four years. The old anarchist slogan 'if voting changed anything, they'd ban it' rings true every time. There is another slogan from the old Anarcho/Socialist tradition ' Look after your own garden' -ie work in your local area politically.
