Hotel all week, which he says is great. That's what's fuelled the rumours of him doing a runner. But he's shrewd -will wait to get the pay off instead of walking. Hes in a difficult position, can see the noisy neighbours winning the league next season as well with their superior spending power Yup definitely a character portrayal. Pantomine villain all year now, Widow Wanky ?
-
Gnarls Barkley might be better
-
Hes living in a hotel like Alan Partridge, next it'll be the static caravan. To be fair we don't know what's going on in his private life, and when a lot of your persona is bravado and just a veneer, its ugly when it unravels.
-
At least we seem to have got Mourinhos best years, just witters on like an old woman now
-
Excuse my ignorance -take ons .. Is that when he squares up for a punch up ?
-
Yup its sometimes foregoing Waitrose eggs for value ones etc. I actually think Carroll coming on to bruise a defence in the 75th minute isn't such a bad thing- if the board seem insistent on penny pinching. Citeh arab billionaires we aint -apparently
-
On Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger suggesting that Blues midfielder Eden Hazard was diving: "If Arsene watches the game again, he was very lucky with the referee decisions." On Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho on talking about managers acting like clowns on the sidelines: "He has to see himself in the past. Maybe he was speaking about himself in the past. Sometimes someone forgot what someone said in the past." Get in hahaha !!

Moyes would probably be the last to know if the WH board are anything like ours. I don't usually get involved in the silly season, but nothing wrong with a bit of discussion/speculation now and then
-
To be fair I think people are just discussing it as a possibility, which papertalk generates.(12 news outlets at present)

Messi is on a free transfer if Catalonia get independence apparently.....
-
When have the board ever worried about upsetting a manager ?
-
Not against this -we have no one roughing up the opposition, he'd be good for long balls knocked into the path of Hazard and Morata when he could be brought on later in matches that are at stalemate
-
A fit and on form Barkley can be a powerhouse who would certainly give us some directness amid all the fancy stuff.
-
The thing is with the four one on ones hes missed in the last couple of games is the silver lining that something is working really well in training
-
Taking a rare look at social media the club seem to have attracted some of societies most monumental wankers as fans
-
Could so easily have -if, if, if, -if me aunty had bollocks she'd be my uncle Great with his head, but not the most natural finisher. Good link up play but wastes far too many chances especially at crucial moments.
-
Sky were showing our league winning highlights today -and so many hinged on Costa scoring at vital times. Morata is a decent replacement, but the top strikers have a ruthless killing instinct, which is lacking when it matters. The chance against Roma also comes to mind which means we now play Barcelona.
-
I notice Costa has scored within 5 mins of his Madrid return....
-
The game swung from the sublime to the ridiculous -cant help thinking Batshuai would have tucked at least two of those chances away, that Torres Morata missed.
-
Played for L'Arse and us; Cech Diarra Gallas Pates Ashley Rocastle Hollins Hudson George Graham Petit Fabregas Graham (cough) Rix Baldwin Anelka Clive Allen Feel free to add if anyone thinks pf any more....

''Youre only Here for the Chelsea'' would be better
-
Stop being so D and G !
-
A test for our defence, but it has looked good recently - in the last 8 Premier League games, the opposition has only managed 10 shots on target.

Thank Christ for that. So many owners are content to just tick over. Abramovich is a football fan and that means he wants the team to be successful. That's not to say if he was down to his last half a billion he wouldn't sacrifice success. In fact even now hes not averse to spending more on paintings than players, and boats more than the club. His predecessor though, Bates like most owners are solely interested in profit.
