I would be very VERY surprised to see Cech leave this season

Christian Atsu set to join Everton on season-long loan
Pot Noodle replied to James's topic in Chelsea Articles
As long as he gets a good amount of play time this can only be a good thing -
Yeah it's there, don't worry

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28059782 Barcelona still want to sign Suarez hope they do sell him, good fucking riddance

we need a striker that can link up the play with our attacking mids and hold the ball really well. Somebody like a Suarez or Rooney in his prime would suit us perfectly. Drogba did so well for us not because of the service he got, it was because he made so much out of nothing all the time, not sure if Costa can do that. Don't get me wrong i think he's a great player, but he's more of a finisher and needs constant service and i dont think that's how our team plays due to the fact that our team is set up to give our attacking mids lots of openings to score instead

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27762435 Don't really see how trying to expose corruption can be seen as being racist

Never put a foot wrong for us, will support him wherever he goes. Quality player.

Don't really think that's a factor in this whole discussion

It's definitely a good sign when so many people are this eager to see him play again and again
-
Well if we were going down the Bundesliga route then i would definitely much rather welcome Draxler to the club than Schurrle, has looked great every time i've seen him play
-
I remember a great game with him at old trafford where we won 2-1, joey cole scored that cheeky backheel goal and drogba with his blatantly offside one. On his day he could be absolutely class but there was always this frustrating kalou-esque side to him that came out in some games and more towards back of his active chelsea career. However without those games where malouda shone i doubt we would have done anywhere near as well as we did.

http://www.guardian....abramovich-case According to the article a decision is to be made tomorrow, I don't really know anything other than what was covered within the article, so if someone could shed some light on the matter and offer some opinion/what the consequences might be for chelsea if Abramovich is to lose this legal fight

If we sign Cavani this transfer window i'll eat my own face, it's not going to happen
-
this transfer could easily go either good or bad

signings of hazard, marin and oscar hardly shout defensive minded
-
Don't see how a player like mikel fits into a team that is planning on playing expansive, attacking, free-flowing football.
-
Just Have Mikel or Romeu playing the DM role, stick ramires and oscar just ahead, ramires can run and hassle everyone from this position and also make those runs from deep. With oscar lying next to him and in a not too advanced position, he can pick up the ball and dictate play and also push up to help the attack when needed, with mata and hazard out wide and torres upfront, the lack of a person lying in the CAM role can be made up the runs and attacking of both oscar and ramires.
-
the one thing that frustrates me from these preseason friendlies so far is the fact that when the ball is around the box, lukaku isn't making those runs in behind the defence or really giving any option, he just waits. However, with marin although he seems to always cut inside, we havent had a player like that since robben, and that's a good thing to have in my opinion, even if it hasn't looked too successful so far.

never flashy but always got the job done, great player
