@ Lamps vs Scholes vs Gerrard 1.Lampard prime > Gerrard prime > Scholes prime In 2005 Lamps and Gerrard both were in there prime. Lamps was 2nd in world player of the year, gerrard 3rd, beaten by a distance. Scholes has never won an individual award of any significance 2.Lampard overall > Scholes overall > Gerrard overall (see below) reflected by performances, stats and statistics respectively. https://twitter.com/...1651584/photo/1 They are not quite up to date (from end janaury or so)and only premier league but, updating and including more competitions only influences these stats even more in Lamps's favour, cos Gerrard has only assembled a massive 3 goals since then whilst Scholes has recorded a bombastic 0 goals and 0 assists. Lamps has scored at least 5 goals. If u include all competitions Lamps has 266 goals which is about as much as Scholes and gerrard have combined overall. Also Lamps's 0,3 goals per game ratio beats them both comfortably with 0,2 and 0,23 respectively. Interesting is also that Lamps has more goals in the league alone than either Scholes or Gerrard have overall( which are more matches). Also for England Lamps has a far better scoring record than both. Lamps has outscored Gerrard in 13 of the 17 seasons they have played in parallel, including the including the last 4 running, even though being older, outassisted Gerrard in every season they have played in parallel i have checked so far, outassisted and outscored Paul Scholes in every season since 2004. Scholes's prime 2000-2005 is not even close to Lamps's 2005-2010 in terms of goals and assists and most importantly titles. Yes titles. When Scholes had the biggest imapct on his team during his career before becoming a bench player in these years he won 2 leagues, 1 fa cup, Lamps won 3 leagues, 4 fa cups and 2 league cups when he had the biggest impact on the team. Now i have dug really deep to find some individual awards Scholes actually has won. He has been in the team of the decade 1992-2001. , Lamps has been player of the decade 2000-2009. Lamps has also won 39 individual awards to Scholes 7. Lamps also won 4 times player of the month, 3 times pfa team of the year to scholes's 2, Lamps has won silver award in european and world player of the year, world xi and countless other awards scholes can only dream of. That is why all in all Lamps beats scholes and gerrard in terms of all relevant statistics and individual awards.

Do you really think it is a good idea to run a competition between our countries? There are countries who where or even still are communist that have become powerful but only one country has lost two world wars, has never had mineral resources and still has risen to one of the world's wealthiest and mightiest countries in the world. We have not done that by being ignorant, actually we have courses about other countries economies in school. There I learned that most companies only invest in Romania to pickup subsidies from the EU.As soon as these subsidies expire, they will be gone as fast as you can say mamaliga. I know many Romanians are anticipating much from the EU but the truth is, the EU and their stupid subsidies can only temporarily ban the rules of the competition. When you are not competitive in the next 3-5 years u will be as ill off as before with the only difference being that u have a massive loans to pay back. I wish u would succeed but I do not think so, I expect the inclusion of Romania backfiring the same as Greece's did. The problem with Romania is the massive inflation, in 2-3 years the wage costs for companies operating in romania will be the same as in Germany, but the workers are less skilled. Also Romanian workers are known for job-hopping. They use their trainings in Germany, France or UK for having job interviews at other firms there. that is why the companies such as Nokia, Bosch, hella, Marquardt will either go back or exploit new markets like Bangladesh, Indonesia etc. Some firms might start to invest in Romania, but they know they will only do it once.

Actually I did not intend to offend you, neither did I write anything to suggest so.My observations are meant to be completely unbiased, which I am glad to elucidate. Fact is the major part of the Romanain population work in agriculture. It is also a fact that Romania is one of the least developed countries in Europe. Additionally, to my mind, shaping the conditions of a football match the way the audience and those responsible for the stadium did is not a sign of progressiveness. For me these indications where enough to warrant this colloquial generalization. Furthermore, I am not upset my team lost today as I accepted my teams decision not to win this match as the conditions and the match program make it unpractical and the existence of the home leg unnecessary to put in the required effort. Now i am curious whether the team decides to beat Steau by a high margin or to deliberately quit the competition. Btw have always been strongly against Romania joining the European Union, as it drastically weakens it economically. Still i have no antipathy against Romania or its inahbitants at all. It is simply my opinion as it is my opinion that it is a shame how this game was staged by the hosts and it was not worth being contested from the very beginning. That does not make me offensive towards you or Romanians in general, neither does it justify your offensive choice of words against a fellow board member. I only apology to those of the 55,000 who actually are not retarded and feel offended by that term, but I did not know how many i should subtract so i left it at 55,000.
-
A pitch that looked like it just had been dug over by some of the 55,000 retarded Romanian farmers whose only aim was it to distract our players by whistling and gleaming with cheap laserpointers, a ref as clueless as most of his kind, anti-footballers like Benayoun and Torres on the field, a fat Spanish waiter being responsible for our tactics, the thineest squad and the most games of all teams in the european top leagues. What do you expect?
-
No problem. I have learned not to give a shit about your opinion, cos all you do is listing some ridiculous theses (often random) theses and renounce giving any arguments for these, usually after quoting other members, even though your post seldom has anything to do with their texts. As a reminder, here is a little sample: "The board's decisions are what is best for the club"(yeah, exactly), "Lampard is not going to change anything when he comes back"(how many goals has he scored since?),"Mata is on course to a 25 goals 30 assists season...."(speaks for itself),"Scholes is better than Lampard"(still funny), unbiased Stating of facts like Scholes never having won an individual award and is small and ginger "is the biggest pile of shit I've ever read on the Internet". You are outdoing yourself again and again, so keep on babbling.

Should have been a 0-0. Was no penalty and Cech should have kept it out. Nonetheless. If our players decide to give it a go in the home leg, we will be through, if not we gift it to Bucharest. Love how emotional their fans are about it, they do not get it has nothing to do with them.
-
ref is such a joke. giving in at any of their silly timewasting attempts. They can spare those. They have no influence on whether they progress or not. It is simply our players' choice whether to put in soem effort or not.
-
as soon as Torres gets the ball u know he will lose it. this is an amateur game. i could play there.
-
The players do not hoof the ball forward because tehy are not composed enough, they are doing this because it is not poosible to play a proper passing game.
-
the ref's a joke
-
as soon as the ball bounces it gets unpredictable, the surface makes it impossible for our technical player to control it instantly, so they simply hoof the ball forward.
-
They already start timewasting.
-
No one can play well on this so called pitch.

lol Scholes????????????????? U are kiddin me right??? That small ginger fella who has been a complement player for Utd his entire life? This has to be joke. The only argument for Scholes is that he has won so many titles with manU but than u could also argue Carrick is the best English midfielder of his generation. Both also have never won an individual award. Maybe that is also an argument for u that a player is good. lol. Scholes might have played for ages but he has been average his entire career. Lamps displaced Scholes in the England team, cos he is better. Lamps has actually LED his team to titles not been an occasional sub. lamps has scored and assisted multiple times the number scholes has. Lamps has won countless individual award including 2nd best player in the world even though he is English, even though an EPL palyer, even though he split votes with Gerrard. I'd even have Gerrard over Scholes anyday and Gerrard is only a poor people's Lamps. LOLZ Scholes. my ass.
-
What a horrible place this is. Fuckin laser, pitch lookin like the backside of the moon, useless striker, u can not expect a good game here
-
benayoun should have scored that, good movement but why doesn#t he shoot that harder
-
ref such a dick. it should have been a red if it is a penalty.
-
that was no penalty but I am still confident we will get a result.
-
Isn't benayoun a Right-sided offensive midfielder? We are playing him in his position, whilst Marin is more a left sided attacking midfielder/winger
-
lol Torres, but he can blame the pitch here. Hazard, Lamps, Luiz, Bertrand all have struggled with it already
-
ha "benyoun's last start was 4 managers ago" the pitch is dreadful. Bucharest should get disqualified for that
-
torres even provided a Bucharest player with a shooting opportunity with his tackle come vertical pass. It is even worse than playing with 10 men, its playing like 10 vs 12
-
Europa League is a very tough competition for us since we have to contest it with only 10 players starting.
-
I know a lot of people who agree with me that Lamps is the best midfielder of his generation who are not Chelsea fans. Plus on emight consider that he is the greatest goalscoring midfielder ever and has more assists than Gerrard, Xavi, Iniesta or whoever u might compare with him. Mata is compeletely different player than di Maria, but the main reason Mata will never win the Golden Ball is because he plays in the Premier League. Europe's governing bodies have never been that fond of the greatest league in the world. Anyway, I don't give a fuck Lamps is one of the best midfielders ever and Mata will be a top10 player of the world sooner rather than later.
