  1. Can't believe Berlusconi's tactics are working better than RDM's
  2. Puyol deserves a red for that headbutt. He was nowhere near the ball and knew the only way to stop him was to hit him in the face.
  3. exactly, he made them the players they have been. That was my point. Mou is a great manager cos he made good players even better by utilizing them effectively.
  4. Barca are frustrated enough to play long balls. Shit Schalke have scored.
  5. Ha Muntari's face is as crumpled as a old couch
  6. So maybe his 200th goal can be an important one which probably would not have been the case if he featured against Sparta cos he most probably would have scored.
  7. LOL. Believe me, if Bundesliga had been improving continuously, I would have found out about that. But u probably get a point. Though at some point, loaned players have to succeed, one cant trust them from the beginning. As long as the U21 teams still do not play in the normal professional leagues, they will never have enough experience that they can immediately succeed here. And Bertrand is an example u can be loaned around and use this experience to play in our team.
  8. OMG he is so ugly, but whatevs, he already scored against usi n a friendly against hamburg in 2010 (i was at the stadium). and he is relatively big compared to other Asians. As a striker he is surely better than our current 2nd striking option, but that is out of question. He is clinical, can take freekicks, puts in a lot of effort, can play on both wings would give us a huge merchandising boost in South Corea. He is also rather quick for an Asian, has scored against all sorts of opposition including the champions Dortmund. Of course he is still only a talent who is yet to produce consistently but 10m and one or two years loan back would be a good option
  9. Mourinho would not be the manager he is with THAT trophy cupboard if he was not both one of the best motivators and tacticians in football. Most admirable is that he can take a team and automatically be successfull, most managers have succesful spells and then not as succesfull ones, that is why they are rotated so often but Mourinho does have a golden touch, still has never lost a final if I am not mistaken. You can always say "he had Lampard and Drogba" or "he had Sneijder and Eto'o" but in most cases he utilized these players to the maximum effect.
  10. Who is riviera and Lahm is the most overrated right back. Neuer is a clown look at his idiocy at the goal he conceded. Walcott is faster and a better finisher and crosser than Robben, Ribery is declining, and Wilshere is surely better than Gustavo and Martinez and on par with Schweinsteiger as yet.
  11. agree you see blocks and checks every game and even more often in the lower leagues and no one gives a shit, all the criticism is incredibly hypocritical. Patrick Viera was hailed for his physicality after literally beating up opponents and Roy Keane has always been the "great leader who does always say his opinion" even though he got sent off every other game. This shows not only how pussy football has become as a sport but also how pathetic and hypocritical all those "pundits", journos and most of people involved in football in the public are. A constant bias against Chelsea has been there always.
  12. Honestly I would be more excited about Torres leaving than Falcao joining, but it would be agreat deal, cos Atleltico is probably the only club for whom Torres still has some value, so we should in any case try to sell him to them.
  13. They are better because their tactics and their play are superior and their coach is better but only considering the players, Arsenal have enough to at least compete, even though they got complete douchebags like Mertesacker who commit grave mistakes every time, but Cazorla, Walcott and Wilshere would walk into the Bayern side.
  14. Cazorla >>>>> Kroos Wilshere > Martinez Walcott = Robben Podolski ~ Müller Vermalen > any Bayern centre back
  15. Wengers tactics are so shit. Arguably their starting lineup is not that much worse than Bayern's, though they managed to get humilated on their own pitch.
  16. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1522636-is-frank-lampard-the-greatest-goalscoring-midfielder-of-all-time/page/7 Knew it before, Greatest Goalscoring Midfielder of all time
  17. actually Frank does not shoot that often, his conversion ratio is actually one of the best in the game. His passing might have declined a bit, but that is also due to his role in the pivot so he has to increase the range of his long passes. I reckon most of his partial "decline" is a result of this dreadful 4-2-3-1. IMO this formation is a stark misunderstanding. It worked for DiMatteo, but we played it as counterattacking formation with Kalou and Ramireswho are rather wingers than mata and oscar vs liverpool, tottenham, barca, bayern etc hence we had a tough time under RDM when we had to make the game on our own vs all the smaller teams and he himself altered the tactics in 2012/13 with mikel+ramires in the pivot and a high line, still the lack of adequat players hampered its success. Even when Lampard leaves a 4-3-3 is still the better formation with the players we got, esp with de Bruyne coming back. Lamps lack of assists is not only due to his more defensive role but the lack of a striker, when on at the same time as demba ba he usually has fed him with great balls like he did with Drogba. The 3 CAMs are mainly responsible for the creativity, so look at other CMs playing in the pivot, actually we should be happy with Lamps output, cos he is way more productive than the likes of Schweinsteiger, Modric, Xabi Alonso, who play in the exact same position but have waaaay less scorer points. Lamps compensate the lack of scoring form the striker, so he is more of a midfielder+a striker.
  18. the best about this game is the weather
  19. Pellegrini is just another average manager like Rafa just with less trophies. There are far too many managers like Juande Ramos, Bisela, Hecking, Slomka that once had a succesful spell and now they got a reputation they do not necessarily deserve cos no one knows which factors played a role in their success back then. Doubt we will actually take him, but with our board you never know. I'd have Jose over anyone, Moyes 2nd and a former player like Poyet third as we will never get Kloppo and I am sure he would flop here, cos his ideas would need long to bear fruit, too long for Roman at least.
