About being the "top club above Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manutd" like how Cundy constantly refuses to name BAyern Munich in the same bracket.

Yeah but he might have to track Ronaldo. --------- btw feels strange to read those Surnames on the real teamsheet. Had no idea CRs last name was "dossantos" and mercelo's "viera" . But they do field a very strong team. Only 2 youngsters in there.

So its looks like ---------Cech-------- Iva---Jt-----Cahill---Cole ---------MvG------------- ----Oscar--Lampard--- Ramires-Lukaku-Hazard

A friend of mine used to order joke trophies for 20€ with "Grandmaster of the Universe" or "the guy who was insane enough to order this ugly trophy" and shit like this on it. Then he never came for them and in the end got them for 5€ cos no one wanted to buy them. Those remind me of this trophy. Never thought there was a guy in Brazil not obsessed with football.

I don't think Mou is taking this game as lightly as he wants to make the media think and neither does Carlo. Both want to win this but Mou wants to win it even more. That is why he will play about our strongest team until the game is won or lost

Fellaini is a useful player but only when a team plays to his strength. He is a strange defensively oriented attacking midfielder, some pundits call him the best defensive no10 in the world. But who the heck needs such a player? When you want to play it direct and dirty, he is beast. He would be great for teams like stoke and maybe even City, so if Moyes used him well at Everton why won't he do so at Utd? The problem is, at Everton the game was pretty much centred for him. He would always get at the end of most crosses and is also very combative so he offers a defensive force in midfield, but when it comes to creation he would not exactly be my first choice. ManU surely can use him when they make some tactical alterations e.g. i can't see him play next to Carrick nor Fletcher ina 442, I can't see him as a no10 instead of kagawa in a 4-2-3-1. He might be ok ina 4-3-3 next to Carrick/Cleverley and Fletcher but that is nothing to fear. Fellaini is such an inaccurate passer and commits so many crazy fouls. If we can deal with Manu without him we can also deal with Utd with him. I'd rather worry about City's MF with fernandinho and spurs with Paulinho.

But Lukaku only started 5 times and played on the wing quite often. Rooney was injured and not fit last season, I think that is the only acceptable excuse for his mediocre year. Our bid to sign him is based on the believe that he will recover his form of 2010. This is not because the media or Abramovich believe it but because Mou believes it. That is the only assurance we got. We can trust it or not. So I think it is futile to try to vindicate his performances of late.

It is only a friendly. if u don't do a Campagnaro, you usually do not get a red.
-
So which of Luiz's legs do they want for 35m ? I don't want Fabregas here. He is a cunt. We got more than enough players for his position. a bid above 45m I'd consider from the financial point of view, it would fund us the whole transfer window....but Luiz and Chelsea belong together, so he is not for sale.
-
Ba or Torres will probably be sold in case we get Rooney. But Rooney won't sulk here the same way he did at Utd. Mourinho is the boss and the spoilt brat will obey. if not it is bench for him again and he will be the laughing stock of the country. Mourinho has the authority Moyes hasn't. The more shit Rooney does now the less space for those little games of him will be here.

England does not really have much great talents, so they must hype the few decent ones left. These are gonna be dark times for English NT but you should be used to it. Welbeck and Cleverley would nowhere near the Manu starting lineup if they weren't English. Obviously the English Youth system is not as refined as the ones in Germany and Spain but I really wonder how you could produce the Golden Generation then. They may not have come close to winning anything but in terms of names it was second to none. Anyway KDB is an AM, Wilshere a DM/DLP. Hard to compare those. Of course KDB is a better attacker, but Wilshere also does have his qualities. I really like his offensive movement to create space and he is a classy passer and able strategist, too. Would not mind him here even though we don't need him.

Naaaah. Unless they got a "shoulder injury" of course. Or a "hamstring injury". Or they are called Fabregas. Or Modric. or any other player u have been in for.

Hazard was overplayed last year which is also why he was injured to the end of it and not used perfectly by RDM and Benitez, both managers not exactly known for their ability to develop players. Still he was extremely influential. Now we have Jose. He made Lampard the best player in the world 8 years ago, now he will do it with Hazard. But first he has to lose that little bit of fat and regain the last bit of pace he needs to actually break past defenders and not only run along them.

Of course Ronaldo is immensely talented + an amazing athlete. That is why he is class. He is all-round one of the best attackers ever. He has much more weapons to him than Messi, though Messi gets past any defense with his mazy dribbling. That is why I think Hazard is also much more similar to Messi. Both go slalom around defenders and go past them cos of their superior agility and lower centre of gravity. Ronaldo is as big as most defenders, he can't do that. He usually sprints straightforward into space. Anyway... I don't think the number of goals has any influence on the argument. Real and Barca scoring for fun cos the smaller teams don't even try is a fact anyone can see it who watches La Liga. But the number of goals is also influenced by the games smaller teams play against each other and when they have a stalemate there more often as a result of teams just being equally shit. I tis a fact the small teams in England are better. They got much bigger budget hence better players and usually also better coaches. Those Wigan, Stokes, Sunderlands, Fulhams can hurt the big teams and usually give them a good game. Even Aston Villa, West Ham, Bolton give it their all at home and often get results. I don't see that in La Liga at all. Another point about Real and Barca is that they are hugely protected by the Spanish government. The Spanish state makes their players pay less taxes & does not put their insane debts under any scrutiny. Also no one cared about their alignment with famous Spanish doping doctors (not only Fuentes). Playing not full strength teams and rolling over when they play against it is the small clubs form of protesting against that. That is why Real and Barca strikers particularly profit.

I am sure. Kalou scored at best about 10 goals per season, just as many as Moses did last season. I am sure Schürrle&Moses will contribute 15-20 goals next season depending on how much they play. Anyway it is great to have 6 players who almost all are able to play any position in the three AMs. Insane depth. That way we won't run out of steam which ahs often been a problem for us. 2009/10 was the last season we had decent depth and it won us the title. This time we are about 6 years younger on average. Can youths adn dynamism be as effective as experience? If you look at what Dortmund did with a similar, much less expensive squad one might think so.
