Willian signing was utter BS. I somehow thought we only bought him to mess with Spurs. I don't think it would have made much of a difference having KDB and Moses in his place. But I have seen top teams with average strikers winning leagues. When teams work well together, the strikers start scoring automatically and suddenly look like world-class forwards. Lewandowski and Barrios were average strikers before they BVB started playing total football around them. Mandzukic is average, too. Next summer the world cup will be decided between Spain, Brazil and GErmany, neither have a world class CF. City already had Agüero last year and did win nothing. A top striker is not a guarantee for a title but for 60m it should be. I agree, we should do better in that department, but now is not the time to react. We had the chance last year, but we stuck with Torres. We will need a good striker, considering our current ones won't be here too long and Lukaku is our only real prospect, but we won't buy one in Winter. There are problems that are at least as urgent. We lack the last bit of stability, which JOse's teams normally have, which lost us the game vs BAyern, Everton and cost us vs WBA. We lack penetration, those ball through the lines in midfield. FAlcao would only treat the symptons but not heal the disease. For some that might be enough, surely not for Jose.

This is just a fuckin friendly, of two b-teams. It will be as always, inconsistent tempo, many mistakes and at most 3 goals. A Germany A-Team would probably crush England, but that is just because we have a homogeneous ensemble of player, who all fit our philosophy which is something they have been working at for 10 years, whilst England are only in a transition from a bunch of extremely gifted players who were deflated by average coahces, tactics and a gruelling schedule to a bunch of mediocre players with still average coaches, medieval tactics under a clueless FA.

It's the big BVB vs BAyern derby at the weekend in the Bundesliga, which might decide the title already, so don't worry, MOst GErman players will not give their all for that reason, so England will not be embarrassed. Even though players like Lallana, Cleverley, Smalling, Walker are no match for their GErman counterparts when those play at 80% only. One thing there is England has, GErmany can only dream of: a decent strikeforce: DFB-TEam will probably not even field a striker and Rooney is probably still a better player than Germany has. Why don't Carrick and Wilshere, England's best DMs play? With Schweinsteiger out, those might give you the edge in the midfield battle. Germany has better wings, AMs, defence and goalie but CM and ST is were England has a chance due to superiority in depth.

Atm we won't pay that much for a player. He has only played in inferior leagues, so we do not really know how he would fare here, even though one can be quite sure he will succeed. But let's put things into perspective, there are many classy players in his ink out there, maybe few are that good but few cost that much. In 2 years, he will be still young and probably much better and more experienced but will cost less, so why not wait and see. This project, Mou has often said, is made for the long term. Still people are so impatient, they demand new signings all the time and ravage about our actual player's performances. Give it time.

Have you ever seen him play? He has a natural drive for goal. He is more like a MS or second striker. he can direct the play, but usually stays in the middle. He has the pace, the skills and the shot to make goals out of nothing but is best playing off the shoulder. Due to his widespread abilities he can surely play in the AM position, but he would be brilliant as a striker.

We clearly are the team with most potential for improvement among the top clubs. Though our football just is not good enough, we grind out results with cleverness but we just have not been convincing this season. Players like Hazard should be firing on all cylinders right now. We do not only lack goals, but we lack crucial goals. Like a 2-0 vs WBA, a goal vs Everton or ManU that would have won the match. Exactly the goals Lamps and Mata scored last season, but Mourinho just does not use them correctly. Instead we are stuck with people like Willian, Iva, Oscar not performaing but still starting. Lamps need freedom to have a few runs to be effective, whilst Mata simply is no winger. It is BS that MOu will make us a defensive team and force all our players to defy their natural attacking instincts like the media suggests. His Real team scored plenty and conceded few while having 5 players on the field who literally can't defend at all. Still our attacking players look inhibited, our attacks are too easy to read. We are just not producing enough with the attacking talents of Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Willian, Schürrle and the still deadly Eto'o and Lampard. Wtih those players we should get more bodies forward regularly, have more shots. When teams took the game to us and we countered them, we always looked good. But other then from counters, we usually can only hope for a mistake by the opponent to score.

This guy belongs into the pl, more than most of our AMs he would be what Mourinho wants. He is faster and more direct than Oscar and Mata. he looks weak, but this guy is a fuckin warrior. i have always wanted him ,even when he was only at Borussia. He might play in midfield, but IMO he is much more of a striker. I had no idea he was available, but if there is any chance to get him we should consider buying him as our new centre forward. His pace and directness would suit our counter-attacking game perfectly. But he is also able to fall back and play those little balls into space like Rooney. ACtually this guy is like Rooney+pace -strength. Shame the timing is so bad.We really do not need him. With Torres and Eto'o we already have two decent counter-attacking strikers with pace. Neither are we in need of AMs. The thing is, Eto'o and Ba will probably not be here next season. Torres will be 30. Only him and Lukaku would leave us a bit thin in the striker department, so we will most probably buy one in summer. If Reus is available and likes our project, why not tempt him? That been said, I don't think he would leave. He is perfect for Dortmund and will only get better.

I really like the player, but he is already 28. The Italian league is much different from the EPL and he would need time to adjust. Also a DP of Ramires-Hernanes would be a little bit lightweight.
