Cuadrado's arrival has really improved him. If he is a 30m player now idk. But he is so well rounded technically. If he had end product he would easily be a top 15-20 winger in the world. But if his movement, passing and crossing maintains that high level the assists will come for sure. One moment in the lpool game when he stopped the ball in the attacking third on the right wing facing the lb. The William of last year would have simply passed it back or shifted right and stopped again but he really surprised me and ran past two players and sent in a brilliant sharp and dangerous cross. If Costa had played he would have scored from that one for sure

I like the way he plays, too. But apart from his stature and athleticism I don't really see anything similar to young lamps more to old lamps. Mvg plays composed and from the deep, marshalling players in defence. Lamps in his westham days and early Chelsea days always drove the ball forward by himself and looked to get into scoring positions. Mvg is much more horizontal in his movements and passing. Nonetheless with his work ethic I could defo see him in the Ramirez role, a more well rounded Ramirez ofc. Not gonna happen tho

Tbf he looked crazy fast at the wc. Not getting any faster with him becoming 27 in fortnight tho.

LOLZ. Those two aging have-beens would have made not much of a difference today. Bayern's over-reliance on Neuer and these two just shows what a mediocre team they are now.
-
That article is a gift that keeps on giving. After reitarating how great value kagawa was, he goes just LOLZ. Fergie must have been absolute nuts if he'd really believe that
-
Btw how does his pace compare to our current AMs'? Is he as quick as Willian and Hazard or even lightning as Salah and Cuadrado?
-
This might be why he would fit us better than Wilian. Both, Willian and Hazard want the ball at their feet instead of making runs into space, which is why we often look narrow and static in transition and in attack. But other than that I don't really see what he offers. He gets most goals from the second striker position which does not exist in our system. I could only imagine him replacing Oscar. Willian or Hazard could move to the middle, too with griezmann either occupying a advanced no10 position or RW. On the other hand we would lose some defensive shield that way. So in short he is just like a left-footed Schürrle with better finishing. Could be a hit. At least he plays comes from the RIGHT side to not interfer with Hazard, which probably was Schürrle's downfall.

3-2 would have been a horrible result, even if this would have been the first leg. And Bayern only won because BArca switched off and went 2 gears down. Even with Ribery, Robben, Alaba et al this Barca would have easily thrown them out of the competiiton. MOst impressive about them besides their passing is their forward movement in a quick break. When they win the ball in midfield, the 3 currently most forward players always start great runs into space. Must be fun for Rakitic and Iniesta to pick them up with those diagonals.
-
what I also enjoyed about the guard of honour was that not only the Pool players lined up but also the refs. Just so much in the FA's face. Inspite their best efforts to make the title run in closer, we clinched the title on matchday 35.

Without disregarding the player's ability, IMO he is not the way to go. We have tried out Mata, KDB, Schürrle, Salah, Willian, Cuadrado on the right wing. all in all we have spent well over 100m brutto on that position alone. Obviously the problem will not be solved by throwing money at it, except we find someone with the quality, Chelsea's right wing should posess. that is not Pedro. The top teams all have two star wingers, Messi and Neymar, Bale and Ronaldo, Robben and Ribery. I don't see anyone of their quality on the market, so I guess we should work with what we have. We still got tons of wingers with tons of talent under contract, I refuse to believe all of those are considerably worse than Pedro or Griezmann, when given enough trust to fulfill their potential.

Well I guess it was time to give Stevie something back ( his 2nd goal in 40 matches against us - both unimportant, compared with 3 assists and 2 goals - most pretty much title deciding- FOR us in his time for Liverpool) for all he has done for us so no stick for the player who left him unmarked at that freekick. But Iva really should have done better vs lallana. Hazard and Remy not up to their usual standards. Sincerely hope everything is fine with Zouma. Willian and FAbregas put in some awesome performances. Either would have deserved a goal. Luis was fine too. I wish he would get his chance on the left with Azpi switching to the right. Iva will not play such a season again, I fear. And whilst Zouma and RLC (great he got his full debut) did not really shine and were subbed off, one has to note the amazing support our young players get from the fans. This is one thing I really like about this club and the fans. Most fans of other teams(Real, ManU, Bayern) always demand more and more big money signings. We on the other hand would always prefer a guy from out youth teams to make it. Keep it up! Maybe with our support, one lucky lad will make it through. I am sure he will be forever in our hearts. meh would have preferred a win here. but we can still get to 90 points
-
how tf are we going to spot the difference between willian and cuadrado now? both small, afro and 20something number. oh right, the one does not produce a turnover with every ball contact.
-
clearly the mental sharpness is not there as in a game where there is still sth to play for, but willian and cesc really enjoy each other, nice skills. And whilst we are only in 2nd gear it is still good enough for a liverpool team that plays out of their skins.
-
BC he is fergie's pal
-
Those were some awesome performances.I wish he would pull them off for us, too if given the freedom. He has always been very astute technically and as we know from be a pro on fifa, your passing increase with the numer of completed passes no matter what direction so no wonder he has such accuracy in his forward passing. Also THOSE runs dartint through the spanish midfield. he really has some pace. Anyway, he has never been a great goal threat, neither at nigeria nor at lyn, so he might be transformed into a stand-in dlp. He has always been very tidy and elegant for a DM and lacked that dogged attitude to track players all the way, put his body on the line and tackle no matter what ala Matic or Nainggolan.
-
tbf he is an amazing signing for them. One of the most complete wingers I have seen a player be at this age. Pace, power, strength, stamina, skills, dribbling, shooting. He is the most talented Dutch player of their next generation. LvG knows exactly how to utilise him to great effect. That being said I don't believe he will be the player to close the between us and them.
-
BAyern have Neuer and some awful finishing to thank that they are not at the end of a hefty thrashing. Barca will shift one gear up in the 2nd half tho. Thier style of play has really changed. to the better imo. their ball retention is as good as ever but their passing is much more goal-oriented, decisive and direct.Screw tiki taka, Luis Enrique has taken BArca to 2015.

http://www.11freunde.de/interview/kevin-de-bruyne-im-interview/page/1 I just read a long interview with KDB. Actually I can't imagine he never played because of lack of effort- moreso lack of pateince. He appears to be the perfect professional. He states 3 times that he spends his entire free time resting at home, preparing for the next training or match. Despite the interviewers best efforts, KDB negates he has any kind of hobbies. He does not care about fashion, about cars, about parties, fotos, comics, what city he lives in, the pepole around him. All he wants it to play football. The title of his autobiography says it all "keep it simple". That is what he is all about. When asked if he once ever made a step over even on accident he is just "that's not for me". It is almost autrageous how boring he presents himself. On a different note he had not bad to say about Mourinho or Chelsea - but nothing posiitve either. The only interesting thing maybe is that he also confirmed that he will stay with wolfsburg and only leave if offered starting guarantee. Positive about him is that he does not need to be superstar, displaying himself with selfies and twitter.

Remy does not score much but when he does he makes sure the goals are fucking vital. Irc every goal except the Tottenham one was a decisive one. 1-0 vs that dummy cl side, winners at hull, stoke and swansea, opener vs city home.
-
STEVIE G WE WANT YOU TO CLAP Honestly, I would fucking love to have our first scorer in this game celebrating it by slipping up just in front of Gerrard. The scousers would never ever get over that. As for the lineup I do not really care. Would love to see some youth and cuadrado but I am fine with any possible lineup.

Maybe the most satisfying aspect about our domestic double is that JT, more than anyone is responsible for this. In our past big title wins, Lampard and Drogba were obviously the most important figures with Terry even threatening to ruin it. This time however, it is all on him. He produced the goal that won us teh coc, his title-winning big game performances vs Utd, Arsenal were flaless and full of match defining tackles and blocks. Well done, Captain leader legend. this is your title - the title you deserve the most.
-
still no news. Shame he can't be with the lads to celeberate He deserves it as much as anyone. I hope he gets well soon and the team visits him a the hospital.
-
NO one can say we did not deserve to win it. all that quality surprised though we did it with that small a squad. The early cup exits surely played their part but who cares. We will only get better. The present is bright and the future even brighter. Carefree

Now he has his first Premiership title. A first of many. Graudating from an Arsenal choker to a Chelsea Champion.
