Losing most of our test matches is so 2015....and we know how that one ended the refs are such a joke. Offside at throw in wtf

If signing Candreva means Jose does not get his player it is 20m well invested
-
I remember two things from last nights dream, the First was that i caught an Arktos in pokemon go and the other that wie signed barkley. ...well, i just caught my second Arktos today🤔
-
I hope this puts to bed the accusations that we loan players out and then forget about gen. I have read multiple accounts of loanees appreciating the support they get from the staff in that time which is unique for a club with such a high number of loans.

Bayern are a good sidr and they have something to prove after their defeat against Ac milan but they should not be hammering us like this. Our offensive 3 like this is useless but conte should take some share of the blame here. Courtois on the other hand should have saved the latter 2 goals.
-
Could be a blessing in disguise he is not on preseason in Asia so he is saved from the arduous travel
-
but how is he compared to Moses? I read that Danilo has quite an offensive drive but has concentration issues leading to Real leaking goals when he plays so he sounds pretty much a carbon copy of Moses.
-
Neither are Mendy and Walker, at least not by much. I got the impression that what we want to buy is not necessarily an upgrade but competition in those positions. Last season's short term injuries to Moses and Alonso in the Utd and City games at the worst possible time showed that having a stand in who is not schooled for the position can massively disrupt the system. Other than that IMO esp Jonas Hector, Antonio, Anderson and Aurier are indeed a bit better than our current choices.
-
first they have to fit those into one team. They were vastly superior already last season and they still lost out to Monaco. It does not come down to having the best team but outscoring the tiny sides in the league consistently.
-
we should not be so focused on wing backs. IMO there are loads of viable options out htere and the highly sought-after ones like Mendy, Sandro, Walker are highly overpriced despite not being much better than far more easily attainable ones such as Jonas Hector, Ricardo Pereira, Michail Antonio, Felipe Anderson, Emerson, Escudero, Aurier and perhaps that Canadian guy.
-
well we got Baker and Pasalic and one of them might stay at the club for cover. But surely should have another experienced back up for our 60+ games this season.
-
That was indeed a well taken goal, even though the horrible defending made it look even better. HIs first touch was again heavy but he had all the field in front of him to chase it and as we know he excels in these situations. The finish however, at full speed and from an acute angle, was impressive.

Sadly, these kind of swap deals seldom happen. Juventus are so stubborn. Matic +20m for Sandro is fair for both sides, allw ould win.
-
that sounds like what has been rumoured weeks ago. I fear he is off to City sadly.
-
You are probably right. Btw have you seen TheWiz around here lately? Maybe he somehow planted his "cornerstone of the team" idée fix Matics so he know thinks he merits to start week in week out. Or maybe Conte has told him he is not in his plans.
-
We do not even need to sell him. He can simply warm the bench here. I mean I would be glad to get rid of him but when no one wants to meet our valuation I have no problem keeping him. We are in a strong position with this one. He is not on that high wages so we can be happy with both solutions. If he leaves I hope we either replace him with someone from the loan army or buy someone homegrown.

Now begins my favourite part of a transfer: Taking ages to agree personal terms because some agent wants a 110% fee paid in personalized tea bags included in the deal. Then Morata is on his way to his medical via an Egyptian tortoise, fails the medical twice because of an ingrown nail, then the meida instead of confirming the deal spreads rumours of the deal being hijacked by ManCity where he is offered an entire stand in the Eithad library, then by early next year, the club finally wants to announce only to learn that said ingrown nail somehow spread to his groin so he got necrotizing pancreatitis which forces us to delay the deal until summer while of course nothing of this is revealed to the fans so we start speculating that his announcement is delayed until our new sponsorship deal for training cones kicks in so he can wear one of those as a hat to increase marketing exposure.

The whole year we heard records that Lukaku was Emenalo's wish, Morata Conte's. I can see him being dominated physically by EPL defenders too but physique is better worked on than talent. His precondition for building muscle is quite decent. He has short insertion in his biceps and calves which means he can easily build muscle on arms and legs there given the right training. His core is weak tho. His chest and back are tiny for a tall man. He should definitely work on those as upper body strength is useful in tight 1 on 1 situations and to push opponents away. Some nice strength oriented core, back, chest and leg work would be my recommendation. I will find his fanpost email and spam him with workout advice.

I have reached a status of resignation in which I can not even celebrate a striker coming anymore. I have mentally prepared for a season with Remy and Michy as our strikeforce so I can not be disappoined. The only one to stop this deal now is Morata. Real want him gone and will be more than happy to take those 70 fucking million for him which are about doulbe he is worth.
-
Why did Conte want Morata over Lukaku then in the first place? IMO Morata's first touch is alright most of the times whilst Lukaku's ranges from ok to abysmal depending on his form. I honestly think that Morata's technique is the best compared to Belotti and Lukaku. It is his mental and physical attributes that need improvement.
-
So he now got his 80m striker. Lets hope he knows what to do with him.
-
I have no clue how good this Danilo guy is but I know we were actually in for him and in an instant he is off to City where his chances of playing time are relatively low. That our board is incompetent we know already but dafuq has happened here?
-
What's up with this DiMarzio guy? Last week it was Morata is close to AC Milan now to us. Just like the others he is trimming his sails to the wind.
-
If we also miss out on Danilo after the striker debacle, there really should be no way back then. The problem is also that Roman only trusts his loyalists such as Emenalo and Granovskaia and that is not really based on merits. The Danilo deal should long have been completed. Seemingly, he wants to go, asked Real to leave, they want him out but we somehow could not get the bid done before City came in and bidded more. Dragging those deals for ages, waiting months and months to proceed the next steps is what has cost us in multiple transfer windows. How come those people in charge never learn from their past mistakes?
