Chill guys we were not that Bad. It is early in the season so this is not our best level. Sure esp Alonso and Willian need upgrading but it is difficult to buy multiple players from the Start.
-
That lineup is improbable. Kosciepny and Moses are banned.
-
There is one thing that puzzles me. Bayern always are the first team taking pks in a shootout. I can not remeber a single time it has been different. Surely no coincidenxe. Time for the tiebreak Mode to be introduced,
-
Froh yeah i forgot. Still a risk
-
Risk when Moses and aurier both go to the afcon our right side would be empty
-
Well the one big pro of this signing is he would Provide us assists for puns for years
-
What actually makes you think that? We have not really seen enough of him to say he is not good enough. Actually the few performances he put in for us were quite decent.
-
He doesn't need dinner. He can drinkwater
-
I call BS. Not gonna happen. We have 5 centrebacks, that is enough. Adn it is not that early thirties is an age for a CB so Luiz and Cahill will have a few years left in the tank.
-
There is a difference though. albeit an ass, Costa was at least a player who would fight for the team and put his body on the line. I doubt Aurier has shown the same. He is just a misbehaving kid. Talented player for sure. But taking him is a huge risk. Conte obviously prefers to work with humble characters, controversial ones can easily disrupt the harmony in the squad and make us target for media bullshit again. So the due diligence is essential here.

He is not a bad player at all. Just an average talent with very good athletic abilities. He could well become a decent player if given the chance to play regularly again. Wingback would be the perfect position for him as he is not outstanding defensively nor offensively but can run all day long. He would be a decent backup for Alonso. But truth is he should not even be at this club. If our board wasn't so short-sighted and strategically incapable, we would still have Bertrand here who is far superior. The LB/LWB has been a mess since Ash was demised and we know who is responsible. Baba Rahman being here is just a symptom of the disease.
-
Most likely never. Was a shit signing from the very beginning. still we paid way too much for an average player after needlessly having sold far superior talents in Filipe Luis and Ryan Bertrand. Then got buyers remorse and instead of giving hima shot and believing in him loaned the shit out of him, forgot about him and he will never play for us again. Probably will never recoup his value either.

Bayern fans and executives were furious after they lost 6 pre-season games. For Bayern there is a lot on the line. They only win the BuLi every year because the other shit teams do not even turn up for the match and let them win easily. But if they lose this fear factor they will not be able to retain their golden pineapple that easily anymore.

The FA said it is the other way round.

Yes and yes Have to disagree. This Inter side is average but it is not as bad as the one Mourinho left behind and then fell apart. They were horrendous for years afterwards. This is Inter side is actually the best since then. No he is not but few players are. This is because there are not many outstanding players able to perform in this position in a world class level as they used to be wingers or fullbacks with 3 at the back being a relatively new formation. Not even Danilo, Walker or Ox are massive upgrades over Moses when all are performing at their best. However the wingback position requires an awful lot of running which is the reason that even in a one game per week season, MOses got tired towards the end. Hence, Conte wants to have depth and competition in the wingbackposition. And for this Candreva is perfect.

I really feel bad for him but it is also pretty funny that he comes on scores immediately and then injures himself in the process. His entire career in a nutshell.
-
Tbf Bayerns 5th cm Rudy is the exact same player as Drinkwater and Liverpools bench of nobodies wiped the floor with their 150m bench.
-
Bayern completely outclassed by a Liverpool b team. They are so out of the rhythm. We were the only team not to beat them into their entire preseason.
-
No idea. good signing and he will score goals. Also got a thunderous who from distance and has a decent bit of pace. Now the same for the left and cm and I will be happy.
-
Not the worst stop gap signing. Most Italians i know love him
-
This praised messiah is producing a turnovers galore vs liverpool. At fault for a goal inside the first 6 mins.
-
40m for Drinkie would be madness. 10m and homegrown wouldnt do much harm but he does not really fit our style of play.
-
We will see. I think it can go in both directions. Jose's short-termism moving Utd up places or his overrated and/or overpriced beanpoles (Pogba, Lukaku, Matic, Fellaini among others) imploding under the pressure. Jose is not known to get the best out of young players but rather squeeze the best out of finished products. He doesn't have many of those at Utd. They still have not enough players to unlock packed defenses, one could say even less without Ibrahimovic. I wish them all the worst.

Remeber we started last season with 3 more senior players (20) than this one and we feared the squad was thin back then. If Hazard, Pedro, Bakayoko and Moses 4 nailed-on starters weren't injured/suspended or if we would actually be able to make those 4 signings we badly need this would not be a problem for the opening weeks. But those are two big IFs and I am not sure we will be able to do anything over those. I see English clubs are having a hard time on the transfer market but shipping out as many players as possible before we even make any meaningful signings, reducing the squad to a mere skeleton is what we have done for years now and in the absence of luck like in the last two title seasons it has cost us dearly.

I am not sure, if the Ox is really faster and stronger than Moses. At full speed, Moses reaches 35km/h which makes him one of the faster players in the Prem. And strength-wise they look about similar. But certainly the Ox is way better with the ball (albeit equally ineffective in front of goal). To sum up, he would be an upgrade but not much of an upgrade. That being sad, Arsene hates and fears us too much to sell any player to us. The only way this goes through is if AOC forces the move which he will not do.
