and this is given we sign Llorente. NO idea why everyone including me is bringing him up all the time when there has not even been concrete interest in him from our side. Maybe wishful thinking from our side. Back OT. So what now? Pay Belotti's release clause or a similar amount for Morata? huge risk that.
-
Never gonan happen. He wants higher wages and does the Ronaldo crybaby move to get it.
-
that is not correct either. Bakayoko e.g. was more expensive. here is a list of our record signings in € https://www.transfermarkt.de/fc-chelsea/transferrekorde/verein/631

all over. at this point, I could see us heading into the new season with Batshuayi and Remy as strike force. Damn.
-
Whoever that is
-
Suarez was 27 years and 6 months so roughly half a year younger than auba is now. Wie do not have the time nor the alternatives to pussyoot around here anyway. If we do not get auba it is belotti or bust
-
6 years too late, but never gonna happen anyway. Oh Agüero, if you had come here in 2011 instead of Torres we would have won the CL by now.... - oh wait

I want him gone. Chelsea and Costa feels like some once-fullfiling, now shattered relationship were there were beautiful, intense times and then so many fights and insults traded that it is better for both to part ways. When we stop idealizing him for his presence and fighting spirit we will see that he is a good striker but overrated. With the service he got over his time here, the amount of goals he scored seems about right...decent but nothing to drool over and certainly nothing to make up for his endless antic and pissing off everyone at the club every few months. My ex also had ginormous boobs but at some point that was not enough to paper over the fact that she had become an annoying, unkind, cold and bitter person. We gave each other everything we could but there was some kind of natural end to the relationship, So no need for regrets. It is pretty much the same here.

So he clearly wants to leave.. Dortmund is a selling club, when they money is right they will give in. If we really want him we should get this done. If we fail to do so, there can be no excuses like "uh the player wanted to stay" or "you can't to business with club xy". If we do not manage to get a player in a position we need someone as soon as possible and that is easily attainable if the money is right then heads have to be rolling. Even the most patient person who has given our board the benefit of the doubt so far will finally need to see our board as what it is.
-
My Brother who is a diehard BVB Fan with some decent contacts to the staff says auba is staying but that might also be wishful thinking. But tbf i cant see it either tbh just does not feel like a chelsea signing. Would be glad to be proven wrong tho.
-
What are they doing there anyway? Matic handing over his locker?
-
The odds are drifting so badly. we re only evens now to sign him, were 1/8 months ago. So i guess now is our turn to bet if we believe he will still sign.
-
thank you, that's great news. btw nice profile pic, u got a bigger biceps than Ronaldo
-
Is there a buyback clause? Lets hope so. sad to see him leave, especially if we have to keep Matic now. Also sad that we could not keep an average player here even with outrageous wages as he is homegrown, from our academy even. Need to buy another midfielder now for sure.
-
It is. Thank you.

My feeling is that Morata is still our no.1 target for the striker position and that we are flirting with Belotti and Aubameyang to get the price down. But I am optimistic we will get Morata in the end.
-
His pace makes the tap ins as it takes him away from the defender when the cross is made. also He can create chances himself with his pace and close control too. Aubameyang is one of the most deadly counter attacking strikers I have ever seen. He reminds me of a young, faster Anelka, tall enough to be a decent aerial thread but still nimble enough to dribble around defenders. His finishing is about as good as Costa's. The qeustion is if we want to take such a high risk on a 28 y.o. who relies heavily on his pace. I think this is hugely a matter of money. If we can get it down under 60m pounds I would be on board. if he is just as expensive as Morata, I would take the latter because of his age. On a sidenote he is an avid Nike ambassador, using every opportunity for a PR coup. So should fit in well with our new sponsor.

Yup 50m+ ist absolutely mental. With all due respect for all in or nothing transfer policy but they are not doing themselves faovurs with that one. Crazy club. If he is worth 50m, I gladly pay 70m for Alex Sandro.
-
Sadly, I have not been able to post in the transfer talk section for days now...I know you guys are working hard on this issue but is there a fix in sight?

http://www.espnfc.com/club/lazio/112/blog/post/3111862/why-clubs-shouldnt-overspend-on-lazio-winger-keita-balde nice piece on him. Deosn't sound like a Conte signing. Lazio is the 2nd club he falls out with after barca. Said to lack character, defensive discipline and tactical intelligence. No idea if he is worth the hassle, brilliant touch though.
-
Utd must be batshit crazy if they woudl rather pay 40m for Matic than for Bakayoko. However, Mourinho has some perverted fondness for tall men with questionable fine motor skills. He is like the Prussian soldier king Friedrich Wilhelm buidlign a squad only consisting of men who at least 6 Prussian feet tall. lol
-
No quotes, no sources stated. I do no know how reliable the express is but that story looks fake news. However, it is true, we are far too slow in closing deals down for some time now. No idea why our board sucks so much but this is Bakayoko saga is particularly frustrating.
-
If that would actually happen we would have bigger problems than getting a new midfielder. We would need a new board first cos this one obviously can't get shit done to save their lives.
-
Lukaku said he knew where he would go so in all likeliness he was destined for Utd all the time as his agent Raiola probably could guarantee a move there already with his connections to Woodward and Mourinho. We just put in a cheeky bid to annoy them and maybe unsettle Lukaku. But if we really wanted him in the first place we would have bid earlier. Not even our board is stupid enough to only start bidding after another team does. With his agent and his buddy Pogba indoctrinating him we hardly ever got a chance. But he has always been a controversial character and would have been a nuisance here from time to time. When a player chooses to follow his buddy and his agent instead of making his own decisions I am not too concerned that we will miss out.

I sometimes get the idea that he weakened us on purpose to cover his ass by selling Mata, Rom, Sarah and most importantly KDB. Completely backfired with Conte outclassing him so far.
