Always nice watching that ass run on the pitch - good camera work
-
Is this the same team as the first half? It's much better!!!
-
Ok - watching Liverpool / Swansea / Arsenal They have great off the ball movement - players always showing and not scared to take the ball and keep possession - we seem to stall when passing, our players become static... Lampard was constantly looking over his shoulder to check defensive work. I think maybe Jose has focused a little too much on defensive duties and we need to work more on our off the ball positioning and attacking fluidity... Maybe a personnel change will help second half...

Good call - but... Some players need match sharpness - a run of games to get in the groove... So we can't be too judgemental, but I think we are seeing Coles decline... KdB is just inconsistent - I feel for the guy, but maybe this isn't the place for him - he would work better at Arsenal, Swansea or Loserpool IMHO...
-
Hmm 2nd half will be better
-
Hmm Mikel should have read that pass from KdB... we do seem static - I'm comparing this to Liverpool vs Spuds and man there's a gap... The players need to show more in diamonds...
-
Lol Azpi class
-
Hmm unlucky Shirley... We seem a little slow tonight - but Sunderland can't press like this for 90 mins - so I'm confident
-
Eto - dude big chance!!!! Free kick tho
-
Cool and you are entitled to your opinion... However mine is Luiz could have been more aware and tracked the player, rather than committing a foul, especially as the player had lost control of the ball. You say necessary, I say needless but hey that's football - what it's all about
-
Sigh - usual tactics from opposition 1 up-front and 10 behind the ball... Gonna need to get wide and stretch the play here - that will give some space in the middle... Too congested to play narrow...
-
Dude I'm not ignorant - there where players rushing back and their player had lost control of the ball - Luiz DID NOT have to foul him!Try rewinding the game and watching again (like I have) Getting a yellow after 25 mins is not great
-
Aye - but he doesn't look like the Luiz I saw last year, seems subdued ? Last year he would have raced the guy, not blocked him...
-
Stupid by Luiz - his confidence is shot...
-
Our forwards should watch Suarez - we just seem a little static...

Playing poorly

Yup our youth set-up must be demoralised as hell... They are the equivalent of a graduate looking for a job, everybody wants skills + experience - they only have 1 of those. To be fair, reading this board sometimes, us the fans are too blame too! We all like to talk about transition - but none of us actually want to experience it... A few poor performances and people are saying Mourinho out, glad this player is suspended blah blah. Now that's a massive problem in my eyes!!! Oh well - I trust the manager, so if this guy joins, I will back him. Remember Drogba - everybody thought that would be a bad bit of business...
-
I saw you pissing by the pool.... Allo' Allo' reference... Welcome

That's a new low for the Spuds! Anybody and I mean Anybody that sacks somebody before Xmas is a genuine cunt in my eyes... Leave it till the New Year! Christmas is about hope, family and celebration! NOT being made to feel like shit... If there is a God, Karma, Allah, Buddah - I hope they are watching and Levy and Spurs get what they deserve! January would have been fine, look at their fixtures over Xmas - even if I was manager I could grab some points...

I will judge Mourinho next season. He has inherited a real mixture of players - he needs a solid appraisal of them and that can only be given over time. It's easy to look good occasionally, he needs to know how the players perform when the going gets tough, who will stand up and be counted and who will hide or make excuses. It's unfair to expect too much this season and I said that from the start... If we get CL next season and a cup or Final - I'm happy... You might think I'm under-believing, but at 37, I know Rome wasn't built in a day and after so many managers and signings, it's gonna be hard to stamp an identity and brand of football on the team, as well as instilling a 'mental belief of winners' - lets see how Arsenal cope for the rest of the season... We could do better than what would make me happy, but we have some serious issues in midfield and they won't be solved in Jan. We need Modric or somebody like him. Then we have the middle and both wings as threats to opposition defence. At present we are limited to just wing - easy to defend against. It's not Torres, BA or anybody else's fault - those guys run and try for 90 minutes - the shape and style of play is still not there! Disagree as much as you want just my opinion

I do feel sorry for AVB. Wasn't his biggest fan but this is farcical. Levy and his Director of Football should go - never understood that approach, they trust a manager to play the team, do the training etc - but they cannot buy players? WTF? Rumours where Levy pissed at AVB NOT PLAYING Lamela and Adebayour (sound familiar?) Lamela has looked poor and would benefit from a loan spell. They paid more than we paid for Hazard/Oscar - wow! We thought we had too many midfielders but Spurs are a joke Those people saying sign Capoue - he looked garbage yesterday? Yes I know he was in defence, but his passing was shocking! Not the answer!! And Paulinho? Fuck me he makes Mikel look like Ronaldo (not slating Mikel!) Oh well the risk is they get a manager bounce - but more likely and deservedly they slip down the table - it's not nice to wish bad luck on a team, but I hope Spurs lose out big time and get rid of cancers like Levy/Baldini... Let Managers be Managers if they are going to be judged so quickly!!!
-
Perfect response I think AVB might be out of a job soon... Daniel Levy looked real pissed off and 'supporters' (cough) leaving after 70mins ain't good - which is a shame, as they ain't supporters! So it could be worse

Seriously? You are glad one of our players is suspended? I'm shocked at this forum lately... Everybody always complaining, can't even be happy with a Win? What is the world coming too? How many times does it have to be said - there are NO EASY games in the EPL. Anybody can beat Anybody on the day. This arrogance that we deserve to win a game because we paid more for players and pay more wages than the opponent has to stop. Our opponents are super motivated to beat us - we have to fight hard every game just to be on the pitch. Sure the performance wasn't breathtaking - but the lads battled it out an won! This is a hard skill to learn and this Chelsea team needs to learn it and fast. This is what future's are built on, hard work, guts, determination and belief. Mourinho is trying, the players are trying - or are you telling me they are deliberately playing bad? So I'm happy. I hope Santa delivers you guys a big bag of 'reality check'. We are qualified for CL knockout, sit 2nd in the league, QF of cup on Tuesday night... Now explain to me how shit we are once again? Because there's many a fuckin supporter worldwide that would LOVE to be in our position!!! Honestly... I'm shocked...

Won't be easy. This is Sunderlands season maker/breaker... Need to be more clinical and finish the game in the first half...
-
Mourinho says he won't play Luiz in midfield - but even Hoddle on Sky Sports pointed out it would be a good move... BA looked unhappy about not playing, so he will go in Jan. Same old Story - midfielder and striker needed as minimum! Will be a tough game if they drop 11 men behind the ball...
