Not at all, at least now he can say he has tried what it's like to play on a cold, rainy Tuesday night at Stoke.

Even though he's cup-tied, him being available for the FA Cup and the league should allow our other midfielders to perform better in the Champions League as they'd have more rest, specifically Lampard.

We've signed a player we need for a price that seems not just fair, but almost a bargain. Fuck me what is going on at Chelsea??
Glad he's back. He looks a quality player and maybe one more piece of the spine we're developing for the next few years. The club deserve credit for getting such a value signing in a notoriously difficult period to do so, and the player himself seems to have a real desire to come here.

The Utd job was Mourinho's to turn down, he informed Fergie over a vey nice glass of red that Chelsea was his club and London was his City after Mourinho dumped Utd out of the Champions League last season. And you will not read that in Fergie's book ,but maybe in Mourinho's after 12 years at Chelsea .

Noctourniquet got a reaction from Eggman in 🇩🇪 André Schürrle
I don't think he's ever played up front for Leverkusen. He did for Mainz though.
He is a great finisher without a doubt. He just needs to get his first for us

I was focused on him a lot the entire match and the run he made for the goal was probably the 20th that type of run he made. He can be as effective without the ball as he is with it. He is different from all our other AMs, and he will only carve out a larger and larger role as the year goes on. He's still young, he can become an excellent player, a key player for us.
Like someone said before, we should try him on the LW and Hazard on the RW a few times. Hazard was very good last year at RW as well, plus Schurrle doesn't really need to link up too much to be effective so no help from Cole won't hurt him as much as it does Hazard. Whereas on the right, Ivanovic and Cesar go forward a lot better than Cole which will help Hazard.

Maybe, just maybe, we're looking to get Cavani because he is a better player than Rooney.

Fair enough, though if it were up to me, I'd go for Cavani over Rooney every day of the week. When you take into account their age, determination and talent, there's no two ways about it.
Rooney still has quite a bit to offer IMO, however he'd be a much greater risk than Cavani considering his lifestyle, health and disloyalty to his current club. Isn't this the second or third time he's caused trouble and handed in a transfer request? Edit: Who's to say he won't do the same here if/when things don't go his way?

This is the official website of The Guardian. Nothing whatsoever on Cavani to Chelsea being a done deal. So much BS going around, as expected.
I can play along.
Chelsea have officially signed Tiago Alcantara and Edinson Cavani for a reported total fee of 70 million pounds. (Sky Sports)

so bringing crap to the party is better than just keeping quite and simply waiting for the real thing to happen? i guess all this rubbish twitter accounts and pedantic articles are written for guys like you who would get excited at the smallest of news.
people here are having a pop because every 2nd post condraticts the one before it. it makes no sense when people keep posting rubbish they find when they simply go to google, search "cavani" and post the first article they find on their. so take a chill-pill and post something useful.

You're telling me that potentially one of the biggest stories so far in the transfer window (which they allegedly reported) isn't going to make it to their official website? Yeah, right...
Andy Carrol to West Ham has made Bild's official website and they aren't even the ones who reported it.
Do the math...
