  1. Bad result for the Ivorians, good news for CFC. What game should we be expecting them back. Surely won't be playing against Birmingham. I think Ancelotti will rest them till the Hull match. What are your thoughts?
  2. It was an absolute shocker of a call. Ivory Coast played like shit and had no direction whatsoever. How some of these players play week in and week out in domestic comps arond the world is beyond me. At any time in the match either side could have lifted and won it. Both teams imho didn't get out of second gear.. Drogba looked terribly unfit.. Kalou showed glimses of the player he could be before being subbed off for the next goal scorer. Oh well, Bad news from Drogba and Kalou, great news for CFC.. LEts get that top spot back!!
  3. Like i always say when people ask me this question. In 2004 Chelsea weren't known as the team they are today. Today teams lift when they play Chelsea. If you watch how Manchester City played against us then watch how they played the next week you can see how evident it is.. After beating us they drew 3-3 then lost 3-0.. Watch how well Wigan played against us and then how they played the next week. They lost 2-1 then drew 1-1. Playing against Chelsea takes alot out of other teams.. Now take this same Chelsea team and put them in the 2004 comp, It would have been over by December.... With the mercy rule brought back..
  4. According to Sky Sports... Knee setback for Essien Chelsea midfielder injured while training for Ghana Michael Essien has been taken to hospital in Angola after picking up a knee injury. The Chelsea midfielder did the damage while training for Ghana's African Cup of Nations clash with Burkina Faso on Tuesday. The 27-year-old had already been struggling with the hamstring problem which prevented him from starting Friday's 3-1 defeat by Ivory Coast, but officials confirmed this was a fresh setback. Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac said: "I don't know the extent of the injury but we will find out later." Essien will now be a major doubt for Tuesday's game, which Ghana must win if they are to stand any chance of progressing into the latter stages. Ivory Coast have already qualified from Group B, with four points from two games, while Burkina Faso have one point and Ghana none
  5. I am going for Ghana. If Ivory Coast lose then theres a good chance of getting Drogs and kalou back sooner than expected. Your thoughts?
  6. I know hes probably still in shock, but he must realize what shirt he's wearing. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Tq3GqB7nmx4
  7. Can see 4-0 here.. Anelka 2, Joe cole and Lampard...
  8. Its a very sticky situation.. I am sure deep down all the players involved want to stay but the risk of getting hurt or killed would be weighing on there mind quite a bit..
  9. I would like to see Ivanovic play 60 minutes then bring on Bosingwa as an impact player... Imagine how his speed could carve up that wing when every other player is tired...
  10. You would be suprised how much power the Abu Dhabi family have in Africa.... Read up on it....
  11. Honestly, if Chelsea win th CL, Drogba should get Ballon d or.... But the racist cunts never give it to Africans....
  12. Respect aye? I think since they are terrorists, Adebayor should speak to his owners and tell them to tell there friends to cease fire...
  13. Fuck i would love to shank that cunt in the neck!
  14. If he is so worried about his fitness then bench him! What a Wanker!!!
  15. Because no other team is in great form. Do you think if Manchester United where as strong as last season we would be on top? or Liverpool? we would probably be third or fourth at the moment... But i guess on a plus side Man united had dropped 16 points at this exact time last year.. I just hope we can come home hard and not let the ACofN stuff us around too much... I just have a feeling this comp will come down to the last round...
  16. I can sense another draw here for some reason.. They gave us a tuff match at SB and we can pretty much expect an even tougher one this time around. Crowed will be up for it too.. 1-1 for me...
  17. Well its because i know that Man United will be up for a massive battle come April. Don't forget we haven't travelled to White heart lane, Old trafford or Anfield.. I just hope the title race doesn't come down to the last match of the season... Imagine losing to Liverpool and handing the title to Man united on the same day.....
  18. You probably wouldn't have found a stream anyway. I was online all game looking for a stream only to find one with 3 minutes remaining... It's on Setanta sports on Wednesday morning at 12:45am...
  19. Gallas at right back? Sure he played there before but i remember it wasn't his desired position. I actually remember him only going there to cover for injury...
  20. This Should be a win in theory, But don't right-off Preston to give us quite a scare. I think in this match we will need Alex instead of Carvalho at the back to hold out the big strikers they have.. Jon Parkin is very big boy with a few skills up his sleeve..... Plus our away record sucks pretty bad this year especially when we travel to the north west....
