I have to disagree Kez. I think we are playing very well. Both Hull and Sunderland had the game of their lives against us. They rushed us in defence, parked he bus once they took the lead and defended with vigor. Last season under LFS we had trouble breaking teams when they done this. All we did was throw long balls into the box and hope for the best. Last night against Sunderland i saw something that's been missing from Chelsea for a long time, A short, quick passing game! It was fantastic! Deco was Instrumental, Ballack was strong and Didier was menacing. I think our players are loving the style being taught to them by Ancelotti. I just hope it works against the top 6 teams. We really need to tighten our defence though. Is Alex injured? I would have prefered him in the Hull game for his strength in the air.

I agree with the Original Post. I think we will land Aguero too. Apparently i just read that his manager has asked Chelsea to keep bidding for him. So i could mean he is interested in joining. If we don't land him, i would like to land another French based striker to play with the other French speaking trio. Arsenal target Marouane Chamakh comes to mind (He reminds me of Cristiano Ronaldo for some reason) or Marseille's young forward André Ayew (Son for Ghanaian Legend Abedi Pele). I think grabbing another Marseille junior would be good! They have produced some of the finest names ever to play such as Francescoli, Cantona, Desailly, Deschamps, Leboeuf, Ribery, Flamini, Gallas, Makelele, and the one and only DIDIER DROGBA!

Usually i am the first to bag Ancelotti, But i don't think lack of signings are his fault! Sure bringing in shit players are, but not landing his targets are not up to him. Real Madrid have thrown the transfer market into an absolute frenzy! I mean Bayern wan't 100million for Franck Ribery!!!!! WTF has he done in his career to be worth 100mil??? Honestly, I could not have been more proud of Didier that night! He really showed the blue blood in his veins! That's why i love him! He has so much passion for the game, the club and mostly, the fans. When i watched his DVD 'L'Enroyable Destin' I could see how much the fans response meant to him. He has something about him that not many players have. He actually cares what the fan's think! I find this remarkable! So much skill, so much money and popularity, yet he still prefer's the love of the fans over all of that! Didier Drogba la la la!

I couldn't agree more! And neither can Drogba. He actually mentions this in his autobiography. He said that when Shevchenko came, it made defender's nervous, so most would double team him and leave Drogba wide open, hence DD's 33 goals in Sheva's first season. I honestly think Shevchenko was hard done by at Chelsea. I would love to see him get some time on the field and prove that he is still a deadly passer and finisher.

Blueschick, I am usually alot more positive. I've just had my doubt's about the man in the past. Even when he was coaching at Milan, i use to think he was average at best.. Anybody who goes up 3-0 in a CL final and then loses on penalties IMO, ain't that great! When the rumours popped up of us signing him, I prayed we wouldn't agree to terms. Although, he has shown good qualities within the club so far (A strong bond with the senior players and giving the younger guy's a run) i still see a weakness in his coaching. Last season his Superstar side wasn't even playing CL football and still couldn't challenge for the Scudetta. For the last 3 seasons we have just missed out on the title by either a draw or 2 wins at the most! we can't afford to drop any point's this year. If we win every game 1-0 i will be more than happy with him! If his substittions (Where he tend's to change the platform of the team) are going to stuff us up, i won't be very happy. Last year on several occasions Guus only used 1 sub in the whole game! If we don't need to sub a player, don't sub them! Don't just throw them on there to give them a run if were not in the clear. I just hope we can beat United this week! although many are saying it's not a big deal, I think it is. Oh and sorry about the whole "Darling" thing! I was a little pissed!

No, actually i represent the realist's among us. Not everybody who believes that when something is not going to work is wrong. I just believe that when push comes to shove, Ansell won't have a clue how to fix it. Tactically, he isn't a great coach. He had an array of stars at Milan over the years and only managed one Scudetta. We need somebody with the skill of Hiddink. He will forever be my favourite Chelsea Coach. More so than the arrogant Mourinho (Even though he was damn good!) I do like Grumpy Gordon though. It has a nice ring to it....

Darling, I've been supporting Chelsea since i was 5 years old. I have every jersey made since 1989. I have watched nearly every game broadcasted here in Australia since then. (Keep in mind thats waking up anytime between 11pm and 6am). Now ,i am not a know-it-all like most, but don't you ever question my support for Chelsea! I will always be critical of the decisions made by our 'higher ups'. We have had some shockers in the past ,have we not? Not to dredge up the past, but Chelsea "Bosses" have made some terrible decisions. I believe Ancelotti is another one of them! Trying to sign a player like Andrea Pirlo to play in the Premier League just shows his level of intelligence for our game. Pirlo may be a great player in Italy, But the PL is a whole new ball game. Now i know we need a back up for the ACofN, but please, not Pirlo! Anything less than a Premiership Victory this year will be a total failure! Liverpool, Arsenal, and Mancester United have all lost major players. We are at full strength. Ancelotti has not inherited a team that comes in around 10th, we are one of the best! So anything less than first is a failure.

My negativity comes out only because i watched a negative performance from a team of superstars playing a Coca Cola Cup side. Our cheapest player is probably getting as much as their highest payed. They totally outclassed us tonight! Having all the possession in the world doesn't mean shit if you get 3 quarters up the field and don't know what to do with it. Even though it's just a trial, the players should be aiming up to cement a position for the Community Shield. The way it stands now. Drogba and Anelka should be on the bench, while Sturridge and Kalou start! Would everybody be fine with that? I wouldn't! BTW Cricket is for morons! So i couldn't care less who's winning or losing. Italian champs? Hardly a champion team on the day. We were lucky with drogba's goal and a penalty to me is not something to brag about. AC milan just lost 4-1 to Bayern Munich so that doesn't say much for that club. Club America are not Mexican champs! They haven't won the Clausura since 2005 and are having alot of trouble staying in the Premiera league competiton. The only win i was happy with was agaisnt the Seattle Sounders and keep in mind they have only won 7 of 18 games this year. They really aimed up! They rushed the ball and defended well.
