I put Oscar on top of the Trident which is composed of double pivot + acm. . . . Mata and Oscar are different to hazard, he should never play in the middle. The options in a 4-2-3-1 would be KDB and Oscar and Mata. Teams need to have variety but Mourinho will have to pick his best 11 and if he wants to win midfield battles he needs someone who can drop back and press, mark, defend, and help with the overall structure of the team, specially in transition. Other than KDB and Oscar i dont think Mata shows the same ability to track back simply put. Mourinho will have had to learn from his time in Madrid, only way id put Mata in the middle is if the rest are incompetent playing in other positions, and the pivot can handle it. Its all about complimenting the players and the system around you.

Sevilla is in dire economic situations, thats why their current offloading of negredo, navas, etc. They will never settle for a trade or deal of the sorts.

He can't and thats because they are invalid. And i proved it by giving relevant information and statistics. He's pulling incorrect assertions and ideas that are far from the mark. The Kid has play making abilities and the defensive abilities to be classified as a CDM, and a DLP. He will be laughed at by anyone with a tactical Nous if he refers to him as a DM or B2B. :tophat: Look at all my proof including the videos that i have posted. Toli has gotten his terms wrong, and jumped to assertions without any reliable proof, while i have conclusively shown that hes wrong. With all due respect are you not reading the entire argument? LOL. I wont take him seriously if he tells me im wrong by (metaphorically) stating how ferrari makes the best army tanks and jet fighters in the world. And it's his inability to confront me with any tactical nous that makes him comment with comments such as the last one btw One of his biggest errors is his understanding of terms, by DLP he thinks its being AS far as alonso and only spraying balls, but it is very different as shown by the definition of the term on the last page, and also the videos, OH and the STATS, the beautiful stats...
-
You failed to reply to me in a coherent or relevant way again. I have explained my self time and time again, so you have no logical argument. Illarramendi is a CDM with DLP capabilities, start watching games and analyzing players and learn your roles.(Read up on DLP's as i doubt you should be giving opinions if you are as uneducated as you show ) Khedira is an immobile piece of shit with no real relevant capabilities in any way. Never capable of helping win a midfield battle against relevant opposition and it showed now for 3 years. Di Maria is much of the same as showed against real opposition. Doesn't know how and when to pass the ball efficiently, hence a 70 percent passing rate compared to Robben who many compare him to, with an 84 percentile. No coincidence that no one wants Di Maria in Madrid, he has one foot out the door, and khedira wont start unless ancelotti has a tumor in his brain hence the look for a DM, and the quire reliable reports that Kondogbia will be Real Madrid property soon. As far as im concerned you are an uninformed poser as your arguments have no substance, your terms are wrong, and you run away to easily, this being the only time you have really replied to me, and thats because i called you out. Illarramendi is a CDM,with DLP capabilities(you can even see it on the videos i posted, and explanation, LOL). Do your research, novice.
-
No your arguments are invalid because you arent resourceful with your arguments as well. Khedira and Di Maria are horse piss and you have never been able to set up an argument against it other than saying... "what how can you say that!" Please.... COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PLAYERS!?? Dear Lord....llarramendi is a CDM with DLP capabilities its clear even on the spanish videos, again your comments are irrelevant when they are wrong like this. Oh and just becuase a system have a player playing a certain way doesnt mean he doesnt have other capabilities. Please come back to me when you learn your terms and learn how to classify players. Saying Illarramendi isnt a cdm and doesnt have dlp capabilities is kinda sad really. (Also learn how to read ahaha, i said hes an alonso type player but only more mobile because thats what he is, read up on your terms, you envision DLP's as only spraying balls all over the place and thats a very narrow minded understanding of the term.) Not only are you confused and uneducated, but also narrow minded!!!! My stats and the number of long balls per game also prove me right..ahahah take a walk toli. And watch the videos that make you look like a fraud.

Also, about DLP's. Here's a masterful description about what a DLP is. Illarramendi certainly has the CDM and DLP capabilities. (When thinking about CDM's thing about players like Gonalons and the Bender Twins, or CM's with defensive capabilities. CDM's are basically defensive midfielders with good passing capabilities that help link him to the middle of the spectrum between a DM and A CM, while there are also other CDM's like Alonso, Gundogan (yes indeed), and Illarramendi, who are the same but with more playmaking and game controlling mechanics along with defensive abilities.) (Some players prefer to set up an attack from a withdrawn position, and are often coined deep-lying playmakers, mainly because of their ability to spread play and dictate the game from a withdrawn position. Despite their deep role, they are not classed as defensive midfielders as tackling and defence are not the main function of their roles, and they may have to be supported by a holding midfielder. Deep-lying playmakers are typically given a moderate amount of defensive responsibilities, but are granted freedom positionally to dictate the play as it evolves, as well as a license to attempt long, riskier passes to the forwards. Examples of these kinds of players include Andrea Pirlo, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Paul Scholes, and Xabi Alonso. The essential attributes of a deep-lying playmaker include: Good long passing ability, to play balls towards forwards and wingers. Crossfield wangers are typically attempted from deep when the opposing full back is drawn towards the middle and there is an open channel in the flank for the on rushing winger.Short passing ability. Although many deep-lying playmakers have natural talent and creativity, they are expected to play short simple passes when deep in their half to avoid the possibility of a counter-attack. They are however given some degree of freedom in playing long passes deep into opposition territory.Creativity/Vision. The deep-lying playmaker needs to spot openings and opportunities to build up play.A good and sure first touch to control the ball when receiving passes under sustained opposition pressure. In Italy, the Deep-lying playmaker is commonly referred to as the regista. Also, this excerpt talks about Mr Bastian Schweinsteiger...this man is a complete package, B2B,CDM,CM,DLP. All qualify the man. But hes not strictly a CDM/DLP like Sahin, Alonso, Pirlo, which are my favorite styles.

WRONG. Look I've seen that you really have problems with defining Player Roles. You have even come to call Modric a DM lol. You have to get your facts straight. Illaramendi first of all is not a DM. He doesn't have the complete traits or abilities a (DM!) Has so please do not call him this. A DM is a Makalele, Lassana Diarra, De Rossi, THESE ARE DM'S. He is not a B2B either, just because you see him progress forwards along the pitch sometimes doesnt mean hes a B2B. He has NOTHING of a B2B, specially not the mobility. A B2B is Yaya Toure, Khedira(he doesnt either but this is what he is, a jack of all trades master of none, and he should not be playing for a Top Club as a starter, this guys is irrelevant), Paulinho. http://www.whoscored.com/Players/87094 http://www.whoscored.com/Players/4961 (edit) ( Also who scored can sometimes be a bit simplistic about their terms when looking at the positioning map, if it refers to Alonso as a defensive midfielder it does so because he has defensive capabilities, it also adds that he is a centre midfielder, who scored its a good website but it doesnt coin the correct terms, they dont make the contextual errors that you do though. ) Please compare every bit of statistic. He is a CDM with DLP Capabilities such as Alonso. Time and Time you have tried to argument with me about many things like about Di Maria, Khedira, Isco, Modric, and Now Illarramendi I appreciate the wanting to discuss, but you are horribly wrong each and every time, and never bother to reply with any valid or resourceful arguments. So get your facts straight before you try to argument with me as you never start correctly, and make tremendous mistakes. Learn your player roles too. Modric a DM? Illarramendi a DM/B2B? Illarramendi not a long range passer? Dear lord now. Ill even give you some videos so that you educate your self about the individual capabilities he posseses. I suggest you never try to argument with me or anyone about tactics as you could confuse others that just want to read others opinions. I have no idea what it is you watch when trying to talk about players. Calling Modric a DM is like saying Ferrari makes jet fighters. Its horribly wrong lol. i cant take you seriously if you make arguments the way you do, and i say this because you try to reply against what i say, and its laughably wrong each and every time.
-
The kid has a release clause of around 30 million i believe, but he could very well be worth almost every cent. You have a young much more mobile Xabi Alonso type player. Watching Busquets and Illaramendi in the spanish NT will be orgasmic. DLP's are my favorite players, their tactical nous, their defensive ability, and their long balls are what id like to have been able to do if i were a professional footballer lol. Pirlo,Sahin,Alonso, Illaramendi, etc.
-
Oh thats what you mean, not being able to participate due to mental fatigue. No i do not underestimate that, i have it in Mind. But in my view i can still qualify some of the statements a bit exaggerated in my opinion in this case. Of course mental and physical fatigue is possible. But the confederations cup and playing for spain is very important for these players and for the country of spain, and i am sure that the spanish, and chelsea physio have done more than enough physical and mental checkups, along with Mata's own evaluation to come to an agreement as to what exactly his role is going to be. Meaning that the players are going to play under the circumstances that their body allows it to. So i understand that it is under an acceptable amount of control, thus my opinion of an exaggeration under a certain context, and my explanation of one of the factors out of many as to why silva is playing over mata.
-
Explain your self about the out of it because i dont think i really understand what you are saying or referring to specifically.
-
I believe you guys are exaggerating atleast a tad bit when it comes to Juan Mata's fitness. Also Del Bosque has a taste for hierarchy, and experience. This is one of the reasons Alonso,Arbeloa,Casillas,Silva, all Play, even Torres back in the Euro 2012. He has a taste for trust, experience, etc. Out of all his choices i believe his least excusable one is Arbeloa. But he does believe that he needs Arbeloa's experience and Defensive abilities and he hasnt really failed him with Spain. Alonso, and Arbeloa are actually important pieces to Del Bosque's spain due to the defensive stability they produce. Del Bosque likes a bit of Catennacio with the ball, as some call it.

No Villa was uncomfortable throughout the whole match because things were not going his way, nothing really is, or has been for 2 years now. Not really a cunt for doing this lol, it happens. Its field emotions and they stay there.

Comparing squad situation in 04/05 and now
Zinedine Iniesco replied to Melanicus's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/01/25/teams-of-the-decade-13-chelsea-2004-06/ Get Coentrao on Left, a new CB, De Rossi or Kondobiga (albeit i see the possibility as slim for either), Ramires, and maybe De Bruyne or Oscar in the lampard role, Hazard, Cavani, and work with Mata in a few areas, and you could replicate a similar shape, specially considering Cavani's talents. Considering the players he has in his disposal, going with a 4-3-3 Could be an option, in that case what mourinho would need would be a powerful midfielder destroyer like Makalele. Time will tell. This is up for some debate. but in any case i never like seeing teams with as little real producers in the midfield as ramires, or a DM thats not surrounded by guys Like Zidane,Figo, and Concecao as Makalele was in Real Madrid, but this is mourinho we are talking about. But Mourinho had a perfect mourinho team at his disposal if there ever was one. He doesn't quite have that atm. Some smart aquisitions and the possibilities for chelsea are vast. What you want in a team is ability to adapt to situations, so that you arent one dimensional. -
Comparing squad situation in 04/05 and now
Zinedine Iniesco replied to Melanicus's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Chelsea has much more potential in the attack now with Schurlle, Oscar, Mata, Hazard, and i assume Cavani as well. But please lets not even dare compare Luiz to prime Carvalho who at 31 was making Pepe look like a scrub, and did a tremendous job for about a half season at Madrid. The guy runs funny but he had class this carvalho. You Cant Compare that centerback partnership or that midfield to what you have now. Midfield is non existant the way i see it as you cant really build a project good enough to win anything without having a midfield with substance. In Any case, the current squad has potential but in no way would i take it over that chelsea squad of then. We will have to see how it works out because if mourinho plays a 4-2-3-1 debryune is not playing in the pivot lol. And i dont see in what world it would make sense to sell Mata. If mou sells mata then its because hes incompetent enough to not be able to find a place for him or help him develop more as a player. All you need is to find a good pivot if mourinho plays 4-2-3-1 You go to french league and you will find the young CM veratti, and you can pair him up with Gonalons. Or go for the Bender in Leverkusen and pair him up with Gundogan. There's illaramendi as well.... Have not seen enough of Van Ginkel Europe will be in pursuit of Konodgbia,Gonalons, Gundogan, Illaramendi, bender/s, shortly. Heck dont know why the hell chelsea didnt go crazy for Thiago. -
Actually Barcelona have been in clear decline since 2011 and Madrid's double pivot system never really helped the attack or defense perform as well as they could have. Alves is losing shine. Pique has no real partner and has been performing overall in "meh" levels since 11/12 xavi is getting older and i wouldnt doubt to point out that his performances are going to keep declining gradually or steeply it will happen. Alba has no convincing as a defender. They have Messi and Neymar but we still have to give neymar time to settle in. Barcelona are not the best atm, Bayern are, and theres nothing invincible about them, never was as the media has hyped them up much over the years. Thats something that i dont like. The hype Spain NT and Barcelona have received when in fact they have both been in handfuls of precarious situations. We could have easily seen a reality where Spain had won no euro or world cups. Along with their rise, there was a state of decline in NT's and in Clubs. The situations is much more impoved than when the Spain NT and Barca took their rise in 2008. They deserve their triumph, but some paint them in a bit too much of an invinicble light.

Dam these blue moon people have lost their screws.... Some are putting rocky videos for motivation, ffs. Disgusting.

All i can tell you is that i think he has the foundation to do well, yesterday he mentioned creating a well balanced team who could do everything. Reminds me of Real Madrid 02/03 galacticos. He set a benchmark he has to reach. The pressure in Madrid is not like some might exaggerate. I say hes ousted by the end of the 2nd year if theres no justifiable thing to save from his work. That would be more than fair.
-
There are many factors as to why madrid did most poorly with mourinho in 12/13 but among the ones related to players. Arbeloa was shit in every sense. He was atleast reliable in defense in 11/12. Khedira was always horse piss. Alonso is getting older, was always a nuissance in the system, and played almost every game, loss of form and health. Both Benzema and Higuain rotated to no avail, and rumors of false promises and thus rips in relationships between guys like benz and mourinho. Ozil was more inconsistent also having to do with mourinho trying to play him just a bit more back. Di Maria - Speechless.
-
Madrid locker room with be well motivated and man managed with zidane and carlo. Along with our team improving and not possibly getting in any way "worst" than what mourinho did, i dont think the league action for madrid will be anyone near as bad as some think because of Carlo's history, principally with milan.
-
That thing about the 4-2-3-1 is just more refreshing to me as it point to alonso getting the f out. Carlo hit stride with his presentation btw... You know what he said? " we need to win with offensive and spectacular football". Hes set a benchmark for himself an the club now.
-
What i primarily ment with the shots thing is that he likes to shoot lol.
-
Isco has far more potential than Ozil as far as im concerned, has already proven to be far more resourceful tactically, enough to be played deeper as an ACM, LM, CM in 3 man midfield, etc. Ozil doesnt have the tactical awareness, work ethic, or stamina to work like this and never will imo. People have to understand what they are talking about before jumping to conclusions. Modric, Isco, And Ozil are all different, and in my opinion considering this is Alonso's last year, is injured till late october, and is losing it, along with khedira being an irrelevant (you cant win a midfield battle with this turtle) player, Madrid need one or two good defensive midfield purchases to start the present and future, and get all 3 of the players mentioned in the same lineup. Matterz, please. Kaka is past it. Di Maria has been VERY inconsistent as of late and has a low Football IQ from the get go anyways. Im doubtful of him staying on the ship. Higuain is out. Callejon might be out. Morata is young. Benzema is in a transition period, a new beginning for him. Along with a billion other factors for why your current view is very one dimensional, and misinformed. @ Toli, refer to the positions correctly, Modric is no DM. He can be a CM with good to great work rate. Kaka is sht and rumored to possibly go to disney world orlando ffs lol. Think of Modric as Thiago, Isco as Iniesta, and Ozil as Mata. Different players who can work together.
-
^ Hi im Rafa Benitez Its nothing personal son of a bitch. Since Chelsea has not much more momentum strikers to lead the line (if any other) in their sight, Cavani imo will be a matter of days. Here are some stats. Some stats on Cavani. In Serie A Cavani had 33 Apps and scored 29 goals, 4 assists, and received EIGHT yellow cards. In all competitions hes had 41 Apps and 36 goals with 6 assists and Thirteen yellow cards. His passing rate is 79 Percent which is good for a forward. Normally it is the players who play the more safe passes in the center back positions who get the highest percentage in this area. In that respect he has a better overall stats sheet than lewandoski, falcao, for example for the 12/13 season, this is considering though that Falcao started like a rocket and decreased a little bit, lewandowski was as concurrent as cavani as far as im concerned. He gets a healthy average of below 1 offsides per game. Only lewandowski has less with 0.8 in the quick search comparison ive made. He also has a good a very healthy dispossession stat. Falcao and Lewandowski receieved practically 2 more per game. And is also better in the turnovers. Also has atleast 1 long ball per game. Cavani is the most inform striker in europe, has great passing and can score with the head, long shots, tap in, etc, and can really hold his own with the ball not getting dispossed. He is good against offside traps, and he also has good work ethic. He also has two good feet and great positional awareness being able to move around the box. Hes a healthy striker this man. Many other clubs would go after him if they really needed him, and im surprised i havent heard about them going for him as strongly. Despite the price, chelsea is going to acquire ( if he does arrive) the world's top striker of 12/13.

@ Jype Different type of source origination, so you have no substantial argument there. Specially when no source even El Confidencial ever always get their stuff right. Also the Rumor it self doesnt contain specifications that i find to be far from the reality as i predict thats how much will be paid. REAL MADRID ARE NOT AFTER STRIKERS. Benzema will be given a chance to start in Real Madrid. Zidane as second coach along with ancelotti will both work to try to help benzema get back on form and even further. Fly Emirates and Zidane have both had influential parts in this. Also Perez has clearly stated in a recent interviews that you cant have two people of near quality competing like Higuain and Benzema. Albeit not always true i think we all understand their point. Alvaro Morata has been doing very good and he won Euro 21 golden boot, its been all over the media, specially El Confidencial that Real Madrid will give both Jese and Morata opportunities. And it is widely seen and interpreted this way by all spanish media. Thats why punto pelota didnt even mention Cavani to madrid today in any way. Enough said? Those were hypothesis of mine, that you probably took out of context as well. I felt nuri had what it took to stay here but Mourinho thought other wise, and clearly it was a mistake from him to aquire Nuri because as he figured out, coupled with his injury, Nuri didnt have the defensive abilities needed to play with khedira specially while injured. With alonso exausted from playing almost every game, and also getting older, i predicted he wouldnt have left, and it would have been the right thing still to this day, but it didnt happen. not my fault if you misunderstood my context, you should have asked if doubtful. Now Nuri is probably not going to come back because i predict that he could be used in the deal for gundogan(next season), which i do believe is true because of El Confidencial's coverage of it, among others. Surprises me you go back to remember things that serve as irrelevant, you have literally pointed out nothing real, uve made a mistake. Thats all im saying in the cavani thread to this. PM if you have questions. Oh and also, i never implied Punto Pelota was reliable under the context you are trying to paint, you misundertsood my statement about Daily Star apparently. As far as im concerned Daily Star is mostly tabloid and i would never trust them over a plethora of more historically reliable sources. Or common sense because if chelsea are really after cavani, they know 40 million is asinine. Oh and Shane, Lewandowski is not linked with Madrid either, he will join bayern as that is his preference. next season that is.
