With Rudi, James and Silva propably out our defense will look like that: Alonso/Chillwell - Chalobah, AC, Azpi - CHO with Sarr our backup CB, interesting.

Personally I would start Timo also ahead of out of form Mount and Havertz.

This is what I noticed - people were shiting in match threads on CHO (who wasn't so good also) yet Chillwel not doing much all game is geting a pass.

Problem with him is that he hasn't became bambi on ice when you took him out of s spanish team - accroding to even Atletico fans, he was very poor for 2 seasons already.

Some tough choices for Tuchel: all five CBs are deserving a start, Chalobah is last in hierarchy so, Rudi is locked on as LCB, so there will be 2 of Silva, AC and Azpi. Wouldn't surprise me if we will see Rudi - Silva - AC and Azpi as RWB Alonso will propably start as Chilly and Chilly will get a start vs Villa Jorginho-Kovacic are pretty match sure unless Kante makes some miracolous recovery Lukaku will start and... Havertz, Ziyech and Mount are poor/average so far, Pulisic injured, Werner is not trusted.. I have no idea who will be the 2 to start here

So far our squad is made by just 22 players: GK: Mendy, Kepa, Bettinelli (HG) LWB: Chilwell (HG) , Alonso RWB: James (HG) , CHO (U21) CB: Rudiger, Zouma(Kounde), Christensen (HG), Silva, Azpilicueta, Chalobah (HG) CM: Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic AM/CF: Mount (HG), Lukaku (HG), Havertz, Pulisic, Ziyech, Werner NonHG - 14 HG - 7 U21 - 1 So we have 21 players who are not U21, we can still add 3 nonHG and one HG to the squad (of course we can also add 4 HG players and 0 nonHG). Saul is obviously nonHG, RLC is HG. Ampadu and Anjorin are still U21. For CL is very similar, because out of these 7 HG, only 3 are FA trained (and 4 are club trained).

Players who might end up with some role with 1st team: Ruben Loftus-Cheek Ethan Ampadu Faustino Anjorin With covid and rumored new CM it's hard to predict what are current status of these 3.
