Currently we have ONE sure option: Enzo Fernandez And then: Mateo Kovacic - injury prone, contract status unclear, may leave in the summer Ngolo Kante - could be finished, contract expires in the summer, not sure whether it will be extended RLC - not Chelsea quality, would be gone if not for his massive wages, Denis Zakaria - on loan, still would need to be bought, had good moments but still it's uncertain whether he is Chelsea level Connor Gallagher - it's uncertain whether he is Chelsea level, and potentially could be sold for good profit Mason Mount - contract status unclear, still not certain whether can play in miedfield constantly, Lewis Hall, Carney Chukwuemeka - young and not experienced, both need a lot of playing time to further develop, Cesare Casadei, Andrey Santos, Charlie Webster - too young to be sure what is their real level in senior football

Vale couldn't go on loan - he played in EFL trophy for Chelsea DEV team, but the competition is recognized as senior competition so he played for Chelsea and Hull this season, can't play for 3rd team.

Yeah, in some way I agree with you however we would be left with Enzo, new DM, Kovacic (injury prone, won't be better), Kante (finished) and bunch of unproven youngsters (Hall, Chukwumueka, Casadei, Santos, Webster etc). We would still need more depth if we want to play 3 in the middle. Unless Mount will learn how properly play as midfielder.

His case was similar to Livramento and Guehi - he wanted time play, we couldn't guarantee it so they decided they won't extend with us. Not much we could do. He started very hot with Brighton then injuries occured and he never fully recovered from this. In addition to this Brighton are playing 4atb more often this season, and Lamptey is better wingback than full back.

Why would Real sell Camavinga, they are playing 3/4 in the midfield, Modric and Kroos are old and need some rest, Tchouameni is injured, Ceballos is not good enough, so Camavinga is their only depth option at MF.

Also though Guehi and Tomori are capable of having very good match now and then, they are not so great on regular basis. They would be heavily exposed in Chelsea.

European clubs are heavily criticised if they even want to play friendly game vs Russian clubs, and some people here believe we will sign player from Russian club. Wake up.
